The property was very nice Needs some fresh paint and upgrades in the unit The only issue was parking and moving luggage a distance to the unit But we are older people and was not aware of that beforehand. The pools were wonderful and everything was maintained well. Thank you

Perfect location. I did not like the fact that tents could be set up in front of chairs. The only view you had was tents and not the water! Loved the location.

My stay

Location was awesome. Nice condo lots of space for a family of seven. Beds were comfortable. Could use some new pans. Staff were really nice and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Overall stay was good.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Girls trip

Condo was as pictured. Having two sets of chairs was awesome. The two king mattresses really need to be replaced. Other than that everything great.

Good stay

Needs updated living room recliners because they are torn and really uncomfortable. Balcony furniture is also cheap. Also needs some tlc on certain areas, but overall a good stay. 4 chairs help make up for some of the other problems.

Place felt dirty,needs deep cleaned.Couch and chairs needs replaced.I Washers knob was gone was hard to turn on. The pictures of the place looked it had been updated recent but everything was so old .The good thing about this place was when we called about a problem it was handled.I am glad we got a good rate.All things considered we had a good stay.

Nice location but needs some updating

It’s a nice place. Needs some updates, but not anything to hinder the stay. Would suggest new recliners and washer. Sink clogged in guest bathroom and could use a little dusting in areas, but not horrible. This was our second time to stay in this condo, I’m not trying to be picky, just some suggestions to help future stays!

Great Christmas

We had a great stay here Christmas week. The view of the ocean was breathtaking, we really enjoyed watching for skates or other various fish. The pelicans diving was the highlight for our son! The unit was clean and exactly as pictured. The staff was so friendly, the pool was great, I mean with a high of 50-60 you can’t swim much, but the heated pool was nice and warm and we had a great time swimming. We loved everything about it and will definitely be planning on returning.

Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building had a lot to offer between the pool, vicinity to Pier Park, and the plentiful beach access. However, VRBO works through an intermediate management company for this venue which had a few downsides. First, was that a second payment had to be made through the other company, but the total cost was still as advertised. Secondly,the VRBO support was unable to assist me in almost any capacity since it was managed by the other company, which was only available during daylight hours. This was not helpful when I was finally getting into the unit at 10pm and realized that no one ever told me what the unit number was, only the combination to the door, the address to the building, and the floor it was on. VRBO was not able to tell me the unit number and the other company did not respond until morning. I eventually found the unit by trying my combination on several doors on the floor I knew it was on and eventually found it. Additionally, the ventilation had excessive amounts of lint and there was a cobweb above the main table. Although it had obviously been mopped the cleaning service clearly does not do any upkeep on the ventilation suction. Inf act, the air filter was not only due for replacement but also damaged.

Fall Break 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of the condo was great and it served it's purpose. However, i would not choose to stay in this place again. It was dirty. It's very obvious that the cleaning company does the bare minimum. When I say bare minimum, I mean bare! The floors were filthy. After walking on the floor for two minutes without shoes or socks, our feet were black! Finger prints on doors, dried, hard sauces/liquids on walls and cabinet doors. The sofa sleeper is pretty much a waste. Super uncomfortable and the mattress is pretty much falling through the frame. Sure hope the actual people who own the condo see this so that they can address with the management company they have chosen to manage the property for them. I would be embarrassed if the place were mine and want to rectify immediately.

Needs a lot of attention

I've been staying at the Calypso for over 10 years and this is the worst condo I've stayed in. It was clean but it needs a lot of attention. The living room furniture is worn out, the refrigerator has weird streaks on it. The shower has black stains that looks like mold and the shower curtain was soured. The dining room table was discolored. The balcony furniture was awful and someone painted something on the concrete. Some of the cabinets need paint. It needs a lot of work. I even have pictures

Fall Break

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The listing was accurate for what was included. The property does need a deep cleaning but it wasn’t anything that we couldn’t deal with. My teens enjoyed being close to everything. The recliners are comfortable but have worn spots in them. We had a great fall break here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay at the Calypso. Condo was very nice and roomy. Quick response time and communication with the owner. Only complaints would be mattress in main was not comfy, mattress seemed old and worn gullies that suck you into the middle of the mattress, the shower in master had no seal on a swinging door with a gap underneath the door that would lead to soaked floors after every shower. Knobs missing on washing machine made it difficult to wash clothes until you figure it out. Broken chair on balcony. Kitchen was nicely stocked with all things needed for cooking Views were amazing ! We never had an issue with waiting times on the elevator. Loved that we were so close to Pier Park that we could walk over. Definitely recommend walking over to get Masons Lobster Rolls !

Great location

Will def stay at Calypso again. Maybe a different condo though. Spare bathroom shower curtain and shower wall had something looking like mold on it. They were quick to respond sent someone with a new shower curtain and sprayed the wall down. Was told the black stuff wasn’t mold just wear in the tile. Balcony floor needs a scrubbing. It was nasty. Cabinets are peeling and could use a refresh. Washer and dryer knobs are broken so I have to know how to use them. The dryer takes a minimum of 2 times to dry your clothes. Overall nothing unbearable just minor inconveniences

Good price, great views

Overall, the property provided exactly what we were looking for in a family getaway to PCB. The check-in provided process was not ideal and the elevator wait times were longer than ideal. The location is superb and the beach is pristine.

Needs some TLC

Overall a decent place for the price. The beds were comfy and the place was clean but it needs some updates. The bathrooms definitely need some work. The kitchen needs some new pots and pans as well as other essentials. The location is great! And having the beach chairs is a plus. The listing states early check in which we did not get so that the was misleading as we planned our arrival based on that. That
