If you will like to get away to a quiet and peaceful place, come and visit our Pine Nest Cottage! We welcome you to an enhanced, super clean home! We are only 5 minutes away from main town Idyllwild, where you will find charming shops, quaint restaurants and wine tasting. We are also surrounded by hundreds of breathtaking hiking trails!! We are committed to welcome you and make you feel at home with thoughtful amenities that we provide for our stay.

Pine Nest Cottage has 2 beautiful bedrooms, and a pull out sofa sleeper in the livingroom, sleeps up to 7 guest! A very nice wood burning fireplace, and fully stocked kitchen. A large deck and back yard to hang out or BBQ. Please see pictures so you can get a feel of our home. We like to welcome our guest and make them feel like family!!

As we arrived it was snowing heavily, and the next morning we played in the snow and did some sledding down the hill. It was fantastic. Wonderfully forested neighborhood to walk around in too.

absolutly wonderful

warm and inviting, the living area was set up perfectly, the bedrooms were perfect, the beds themselves like sleeping in a cloud. we realy loved the deck also , so our boys could play with the snow that was there and keep an eye on them, over all i would definatly come here again

Special house and property!

The house is located in a lovely neighborhood with many trees. The windows in every room take advantage of the views of the forest around. The decor is perfect for a mountain house, and the house is extremely comfortable. We have booked the house twice now, spring and winter, and loved our stays in both seasons. Josie is also great to work with!

Cozy House, Nice neighborhood

My family stayed here for a weekend to enjoy the snow. The property is large and allowed plenty of space to play, sled, build snow forts and snowmen. If you bring all of your food, there's no need to even leave the house! The owner is kind and easy to communicate with. All of the neighbors we met were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this location!

Lovely

My sister and I both were looking for a quiet place to cool off for a couple days up in Idyllwild. When we got there the neighbors were kind of boisterous and Loud celebrating some kind of birthday but after we asked nicely if they could tone it down a little bit, the rest of our stay was quiet. Cabin has everything you need, and has a nice lay out.

Very nice place for a quiet weekend

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, it makes you feel that you will have a peaceful stay. The house was clean and well furnished when it comes to bed linen, towels... but it could have been better in terms of kitchen accessories. The central heating is very efficient and you also have the possibility to use the fireplace which is very nice on the evening. The house is located 5/10 min from Iddylwild city center which is ideal. I recommend this place for a restful weekend.

Amazing Mountain Retreat

Host was fantastic and very accommodating. House was lovely inside and on a good size property. Very comfortable for my family of 6. We went in January to see some snow, and we didn't even have to get in the car. Kids played outside for hours, even enjoyed some sledding in the front yard! House is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood very close to Idyllwild, easy to head in for dining or to pick up supplies. Will definitely repeat!

Very clean, great accommodation's and quiet

The property is very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, bedding is clean. Great WIFI! Great communication with the owner, there was a problem with the booking which was the fault of the booking service and the owner explained the issue. When you message the owner they message you back right away. A caution, the house next door burned down the night before our arrival, it is unsightly but will not affect your stay. The town is very close with fun stores to shop in and nice restaurants. This is a place to get away from the big city. We will definitely return and stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect for our mini Get a Way!

Very clean and nicely appointed. Easy access, very comfy. We never used the kitchen or the living room so cannot comment on that, but beds and bathroom were fine. Thank you!!

Perfectly quaint

A truly idyllic space for relaxation and rest. The porch and garden seating were both wonderful places to enjoy my morning coffee. The house itself was clean and inviting and the beds were super comfy. We very much appreciated all the fans in the rooms! We would very much like to return to this perfect little cabin home sometime in the near future!

Fit our needs perfectly

We enjoyed this cabin which we used to house my family of four while visiting with more family in Pine Cove. The house was cute and easy to access. Josie was easy to communicate with. The only problem we had was some ants around the entry door, that honestly didn’t bother us at all. It’s a great getaway. It was just a little warm even in the evening, but they had a fan which helped to keep the air moving. Thanks for a great stay!

Like staying at home

After a fun day, we go to the property at 7:30 pm. We love the place at the first glance, it is such a cute property. It's extremely clean and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped. From the tea bags, coffee, and a welcome basket with goodies, you can tell Josie really welcome her guests. The garden is lovely, and lilacs are all blooming beautifully. Thanks for making us feel like staying at home, we definitely will come back again.

Wonderful little vacation

From the moment I booked, communication was superb. Check-in was easy and quick. The place was clean and just lovely. There were even little complementary snacks and water left which really was a nice touch. There was a log in the fireplace, ready to go and everything was just right. It made for zero stress right from the get-go. Thanks so much!

Great Stay

Wish we could have stayed longer! Heater kept up since it snowed at night. Had the essentials in the bathroom. The softest blankets and pillows. Grandparents loved sleeping in the room with the fireplace. Would stay here again.

I hope that you as well as I, enjoy the views of the wonderful trees from the deck and windows. The snow falling in the winter is an amazing view, and sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the afternoon out of the deck are amazing!
