When you stay in a Sugar Beach condo, you’ll have access to one of Maui’s best beaches for strolling, sunning, and swimming right outside your door. Choose from oceanfront views, ocean views, or garden views. The one and two-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condos are all perfectly suited to your home-away-from-home Maui vacation. All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I very much enjoyed my stay here at sugar beach. So nice to be close to the beach, and easy to get down there, even for a senior citizen.! My room was lovely and very clean. The bed and linens so comfy! I will definitely be back. Thank you!

The unit itself was clean and wonderful, however the locals were not so friendly. We were there for a wedding and were lumped in with everyone from the wedding, some who were being drunk and disorderly. We were not part of that bad behavior, but were still treated in an unfriendly manor. Maybe just an unfortunate set of circumstances, but I didn’t appreciate the attitude from the staff and the locals who live there. We did like our unit very much but wish the overall experience was better.

Condo location is perfect for spotting whales and enjoying the nightly sunset. Condo was well equipped with supplies for cooking, laundry. Vacasa host was very helpful and professional when we had an issue with our reservation.

Great beachfront unit; well-equipped. But booking had 110.99 hidden charge, which, despite repeated queries to property manager, was never explained. Manager also failed to respond to other requests, e.g., late checkout.

The unit is very well equipped. It has everything you need including a lot of extra special things like cookies and free coffee. The view is perfect and the whole facility is really outstanding especially recommend the sandwich shop

Lovely location and view.

Had a wonderful time here. The furnishings and decor are a little tired but kitchen is fabulous however could use a few more items such as sharp knives, tin Foil, Saran Wrap but would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We stayed at Sugar beach for a week. It has a gorgeous beach and nice pool facility. The condo was clean and roomy. It does not have internet TV so we watched Netflix in my iPad. Lovely kitchen a view.

Quiet little place

This is a sweet little place, very quiet except for the roaring waves. The balcony with the view is the best part. And the beds are very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by this darling place.

Great location

We have stayed at Sugar Beach Resort every year over the past decade and really enjoy it. I’m not sure what happened but the pictures on line show the living area with a couch and two chairs but when we got there it only had one chair so that was disappointing.

Cozy one bedroom condo ON the beach

Vacasa allowed early check in which was very much appreciated. Very comfy bed. Pool floaties abd beach chairs/towels also included. Amazing view, especially during sunrise. Great pool, hot tub and beach access. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Vacation Getaway

Great location with easy access for us to check in late. Could not ask for a better location if you are seeking a beach front ocean front property with minimal traffic as you look out from the lanai. Kitchen amenities and laundry access was a huge bonus for us but wish the wifi signal was a bit stronger since we had trouble connecting from the bedroom.

Overall good for the price

No frills with this price and it’s fine, a lot of regulars that come back every year though they always stay in the same units. We have been many times over the years and definitely can see the difference from unit to unit. Pool, BBQs, and property was very well maintained.

January stay with Whale sightings daily!

If you want to see whales from your room, this is the place! It’s conveniently located to get all over the island every day! We didn’t miss a thing! Even rest days were nice! We saved by grocery shopping and eating here. I would not recommend the sofa bed for an adult though, it’s thin and could probably be replaced. Not a real issue with our 6 yr old tho.

Best View

This condo was clean and had a great view. Loved being able to open the sliders and see & hear the ocean. It had a nice kitchen and A/C. I appreciated that it had plenty hangers & drawers to unpack your clothes/toiletries. It is small, but was good for my husband and me. Not sure you'd want more than 2 people staying there. The complex was nice and pretty quiet. The grounds were pretty - loved lounging on the lawn watching the waves. I would stay there again.
