Kamaole Beach Park III, located just across South Kihei Road, is one of South Maui’s best swimming, snorkeling, and sunning beaches. This luxurious and extra-spacious condo showcases a lovely view. Strolling the grounds of this low-rise property, you'll discover tropical gardens, two pools (the lower pool is heated), a pool spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas.

Comfortably and elegantly furnished, this home provides many perks that include free high-speed WiFi, free cable TV, a DVD player, a washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. In-room safes are available. The spacious lanai offers spectacular views and a true taste of Hawaiian living.

Wouldn't stay at this particular unit again. Pros: Location is fantastic. Great landscaping throughout property. Lower pool is very bare bones but fine. Upper pool is gorgeous. As for the unit itself - views are great. AC in main room and both bedrooms. Linens were clean. Kitchen appliances all worked. Was glad to find a blender and a good supply of tupperware-type containers. If you don't like rusty scratched up non-stick cookware, plan on BBQing exclusively.Cons: There are ZERO beach items provided. You will need to buy or rent chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, etc. This is a huge inconvenience and also not cheap - if you plan to go to the beach, factor another 300 into your budget for a two week stay, as well as a few hours to deal with renting/buying. There is a rooster resident outside the building, and no soundproofing on bedroom windows, so expect repeated wakeup calls starting at 4:30 AM (friends in buildings further back on the property didn't have this problem).Unit was worn but mostly clean (shutters to master loft were very dusty/cobweb-y when we closed them). Plug for vacuum cleaner was missing a prong and didn't work - pretty gross after two weeks. Misc things: Beds were fine except pullout, which is brutal. Note no door to master bedroom (engage in adult times at your own risk, parents). If you're sensitive to harsh LED bulbs, there are many. Pools rules are not very child-friendly (for instance, "NO MARCO POLO"...good grief).

Great stay but perhaps avoid with young children

The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and the beach. It was especially nice to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The condo itself has a beautiful view from the lanai and is easy walking distance to the beaches. The wifi was easy to access and we could log in to our streaming apps on the TV. The condo could use some paint updates just from wear and tear and there was a hole in the carpet covered by duct tape. We weren't bothered but it but other people might be. We realized once we were there that the condo might not have been the best fit for our young children. We were in an upstairs condo (which is not anyone's fault but our own) and we were very worried about our kids running around or being too loud with retiree's downstairs. We were also hyper aware of the noise rules and didn't go to the pool as often because we were worried the kids might be too loud or be bored because they couldn't play with any toys in the pool. We might have missed it when booking, but we didn't see anything listing the condo and pool rules before booking. Aside from worry about making noise, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again when our children are older.

Lovely stay

This home has beautiful ocean views. Some things in the unit could be updated but overall was very clean and comfortable. Single beds downs stairs are not very comfortable but will be ok for kids. I would stay here again. Quiet complex nice upper pool area and we love the gardens/ grounds.

Great stay and great location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Maui Kamaole, we had walking access to local beaches, restaurants, craft fair markets & shops! It was a quiet condo, besides the roosters, but would definitely stay here again! We loved the Lanai and the amenities the condo came with! Boogie boards, chairs and umbrella! Mahalo!

Amazing

It’s not often that a place is so much better than expected. The photos really don’t do it justice. The view of the water is beautiful. Condo was well stocked. Beds so comfortable. Really convenient to everything but still isolated. Perfect.

Perfect stay

Great for a family vacation!

We really loved our stay here. We are a family of 5 but it accomodated us perfectly, where we still felt like we had space. Great view from the balcony and easy walk to the beach and Kamaole III. The kids loved the 2 pools, too! Appreciated all the beach toys and accessories that we could use all week long. Actually cancelled our snorkel rental because they had plenty in the unit (thank you!). We would absolutely stay here again. The only "con" was an issue with the management company (NOT the condo itself) not having the unit cleaned in time for our arrival due to being understaffed. Especially surprising given that I had called to ask for early check-in and was denied until the 4pm when the unit was supposed to be ready. This was unfortunate but we had zero issues after that.

Everything you need for up to 5 people.

We had 5 people stay here for 12 days. There was comfortable space for everyone. (The hide-a-bed is as comfortable as you would expect). There was beach chairs, snorkeling gear, coolers and tons more supply's. Highly recommended.

Great views, well stocked, only minor issues

This was a great unit with fabulous views, nicely decorated and very well stocked (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, even snorkel equipment). We had a few minor issues with unit but Vacasa was very responsive (i.e. immediately replacing a moldy shower curtain). Highly recommended!

Beautiful View and Comfortable Overall

We had a lovely stay here. The view from the outdoor patio is like a postcard. The amenities were comfortable and adequate. We appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of a cooler for our use on day trips. In terms of recommendations, I think upgrading and updating the bedding in both bedrooms would go far. The quality wasn't up to speed with what this condo could truly offer.

Good value, comfortable, solid location

This was perfect for our group of four. Close to the beach and a lot of food and retail options in Kihei, but not too far from some other sights we wanted to go to like Lahaina. Very clean and comfortable, with a lovely little open kitchen, great patio you with ocean view, and we were also grateful for the AC. The only thing I might change is switch out the carpet for hard flooring (e.g. premium vinyl), but all in all, good place to stay for a week!

The spectacular ocean view is as advertised! We saw whales from the balcony. The apartment itself has a nice loft-style layout - the top bedroom is on a kind of interior balcony. The kitchen is well-equipped and nice to cook in. Grills are dotted around the campus as well. A big highlight is that it`s a mere stone`s throw from the Eddie Pu shoreline trail, where it`s easy to find turtles. The condo is in a fantastic location--easy walking distance to the beach and shops/restaurants. The view is even better than promised, and the condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a Hawaiian vacation: beach accessories (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, etc.), towels, tennis racquets, picnic coolers, and so much more. Check in and out are easy can be done 24 hours...
