Step across the street and enjoy Kamaole Beach Park II, one of Maui’s best swimming and stunning beaches. Revel in the spectacular sunsets or stroll along miles of white sandy beach at “first light.” Kihei Akahi is ideally situated and offers excellent value. This one-bedroom vacation condo features a private lanai, a cable TV, a telephone, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a complimentary, in-suite safe. A tennis court and barbecues can also be found on the property’s beautifully manicured grounds, in addition to ample free parking. Enjoy a cool swim in one of the two pools. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are also just minutes away from your doorstep.

* The Kihei Akahi property mandates that all guests occupying condos must empty the AC condensation drip pan on a daily basis to prevent overflows. Please contact Vacasa for additional information.

A mandatory $25.00 check-in/resort fee will be assessed.

Ceiling fan in the bed room is very low mounted which is safety hazard. Any time it can hit some body who stand on bed and must remove this ceiling fan, since it is low height ceiling. Instead of ceiling, you should provide stand fan or ductless A/C.We found cockroach in the kitchen area.The above two reasons, I have 2-star.

COCKROACH INFESTATION!!

Property needs to be completely overhauled. Old, run down and filthy. Broken tiles, stained tub, hasn’t been deep cleaned in actual years. And that’s without the continual cockroach infestation. Vacasa is doing a terrible job managing this property. They ‘ forgot’ to clean before I arrived, after a MONTH they finally sent a crew who showed up late and never actually cleaned, just put towels away that I had already washed. the owners desperately need to update this property, currently it’s a disgrace. I will never stay at the Kihei Akahi again, which is a pity as I’ve been coming here for 15 years.

Short weekend stay

Very easy location to find. Lots of good communication that was helpful, and not over done. We got delayed arriving by a day due to flights, and everyone was very accommodating.

Very comfortable condominium

The location was excellent and the grounds where kept very well maintained. The condominium was comfortable and clean. The carpet could use replacing but everything else was good. I was pleased.

Great location

This condo is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. However, the carpets need cleaning and the bathtub is very slippery and should have a bath mat. Also, the lanai has a sun lounge which made it very cramped with the table and chairs. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if these items were taken care of.

Nice apartment

The apartment was nice. The balcony was a bit cluttered and there was sand on it as well as sand in a few different areas inside. The welcome bag was a nice touch and the facilities within the apartment were great with lots of towels, laundry items, and I love the Tommy Bahama chairs to use. The fridge freezer looks old with stains on the side but it’s fully functional. The walkable area is great for food options and friendly restaurants and coffee shops. The beaches are unfortunately not in great shape as this tide comes in so close that they are too narrow to spend the day at. Even the locals were saying the beaches have been eroding more this past year. That being said there are some great beaches just a 5-10 minute Uber ride away.

Wonderful Experience

This condo was perfect for a relaxing getaway. It had beach chairs and an umbrella, which is always wonderful to have for a beach vacation! Vacasa was very accommodating and we loved booking through them. Hopefully we will be back soon!

GREAT PLACE to stay

We had a great time staying at this Condo, beautiful and clean and had everything we needed, location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. I've stayed Kihei Akahi before and love it. My friend wishes the coffee mugs and wine glasses were larger. The safe we couldn't get it to work, and the fan in the bathroom wasn't working (something the owners may want to check into for future issues) Our only issue was the hidabed, we did notice the couch and chair are brand new, and look lovely, but the metal bar that runs under the mattress, gets you right in your back, but we solved that issue using a large blanket rolled up and put it between the mattress and the metal bar, problem solved. We would definitely stay here again.

Simple, clean, good location.

We enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi for a whole week. We really enjoyed that the complex was just across the street from the beach, walking distance to stores and restaurants. Even better that the units were just up off the road a bit with no traffic noise. Well stocked kitchen, towels, a few beach items as well. Two pools and tennis court on site were wonderful. We would stay here again. Only complaint is very very loud obnoxious chickens outside that kept us awake a few different nights. Would stay here again.

Great place on a budget

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is in a great location, ac worked great, bed was comfy… would definitely stay again. It’s not a fancy resort by any means but clean and comfortable. The bath towels were a little scratchy and the bathtub should probably be refinished soon but not terrible.

Keep in mind the following: The bath room light would go on and off I would be the shower and the light would go out Second the air conditioning did not work half the time. It was clean but I think your place needs some work

The location is great, you’re right across the street from the beach. There’s food and drinks right around the corner. The room itself is great. It’s bigger than the photos make it out to be. Lots of towels and sheets as well as washer and dryer, iron and board. There’s a few water sports items in there as well. This was a very clean and great location.
