Maui Kamaole #K-204 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath fully renovated unit. Located in a quiet location, this unit is steps to communal BBQ's, and beautiful upper pool. Enjoy meals inside in your fully stocked kitchen! Stay cool during the summers with air conditioning or the ocean trade winds. The master bedroom has a comfortable California King bed, en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower, and a private patio with Haleakala Views. The guest bedroom has a Queen Bed and there is a Queen Sofa Bed in the living room. Sleeps up to 4 guests. Additionally there are ceiling fans throughout, a washer/dryer in unit, digital cable, and free WiFi. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
The famous Kamaole Beach III is just across the street from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole Beaches are world famous for their pristine water, long sandy shoreline, and great snorkeling. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. Sleeps 4.

Great Location

This was a great location and the accommodations were really nice. The only problems we had were the squeaky bathroom doors, the safe that didn’t work, and the freezer door that would not always stay shut. Luckily these were not huge problems.

Unit K-204 was clean and everything (utilities and appliances) worked fine with no issues. We received several text messages prior to checking in, which made the process smooth and stress free. The assigned parking spot is very close to the unit, which is very convenient for coming and going. I would definitely recommend unit K-204 to friends and family, and looking forward to going back!

The difference in how the grounds are kept is night and day. Tried something new this time and now we know we won’t be staying in Kihei again. Nothing wrong with it, just a different vibe. The condo was clean. Beds, typical, never as comfortable as home but ok. Pillows were super flat. Sheets looked clean but had that smell they have been in the cabinet for a long time so didn’t smell fresh. Close to the nicer more tropical looking pool which was nice but it’s only 3 1/2-4 ft deep, so just a cool off pool. My 12 year old wasn’t too impressed. Also have a slight view of the pool so you can see if it’s busy as it is pretty small. There is a little view of the sunsetting sky, you can see the beautiful sky just not the water ( or the sun). Beach- we didn’t walk to the beach but it is a walkable distance. There are beach chairs , umbrellas and some sand toys and a small cooler. Walkable to food- we didn’t walk but you could walk, seemed a bit far for our liking. AC works well and there are ceiling fans. Condo feels spacious , we only had 3 people but plenty enough room for 4-5 people.

We are from maui. It was our first time back since we moved in 2021. The location was perfect for us because most of our favorite beaches are close by. Lots of good food close by. Loved being right by the pool. Loved the layout of the condo. The kitchen had everything that we needed.

Obviously, the bathroom rugs aren’t even vacuumed or the bedroom furniture wiped down. Makes me question the cleanliness of the whole place. Not getting your money’s worth from the cleaning company. The actual grounds and pools are great. Very quiet and relaxing.

Overall Rating would be better except for the feces found on pillow & water auto turn off at 25 min.

We were very impressed when we first walked in. Loved the privacy of living room lanai. However, that impression changed when our pregnant daughter found feces on one of the downstairs bedroom pillow shams. We thought possibly chocolate bar of some kind, but chocolate doesn't stink like feces. The next inconvenience was the water shut off at a 25-minute mark. Our family is from central Alaska, and we have lived without running water; we fully understand the importance of water conservation and by no means were abusing the privilege of running water. We had 3 (occasionally 4) grown adults trying to take showers; by the time the water was turned on, you got undressed, and the water heated up, at least 5 of the allotted minutes were used up. If you needed to wash hair, body & shave, the water was almost guaranteed to quit before you were finished. Our daughter needed the hot water to feel rejuvenated after morning sickness and that bliss would abruptly stop and leave her feeling irritated. Inevitably, each time, the property manager would call to make sure there was not a water issue - we would tell her the only issue was that we were trying to take showers to get ready for the day. Within the hour, the water would return, but this elapsed time took away from our days activities. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating. For the price I paid, I didn't expect poop pillows or shower restrictions! I specifically asked for a house keeping refund, which ultimately has been ignored.

Great Condo

We really enjoyed our stay in K204. This may have been the 18th or 19th time we stayed in the Maui Kamaole condos, and this ranks as one of our best stays. The unit was clean and uncluttered and so comfortable. I hope to book this unit again in the future! I highly recommend it!

Great unit in not a great town

We were very happy with our 2 bedroom apartment- very spacious-renovated -clean - nice 2 full bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen/ beach gear /umbrella/ chairs toys - comfortable furniture-2 balconies and one big deck Complex is beautiful with tropical plants bushes, clean grills , 2 small pools for the amount of guests can get crowded- very strict unfriendly pool rules/ attendees, tennis court available but no tennis racket available for use / rent -you need to bring your own!! Parking spot was hard to find at first but it is close to the unit once you know your way around. Don’t try to ask for a late check out or no help storing your luggage after you check out either. Beach is walking distance across the road. Rental car is a must! We found the town full of homeless people/ trash in a parks / strange individuals with dogs hanging by the beach, not enough restaurants , souvenirs shops ... but if you have a car you are fine to explore the island. Little things could be easily fixed if the management would be more friendly towards guests. By price it was a great deal - we felt safe in our complex .

There were 3 AC units, ceiling fans to keep us comfortable. The layout is perfect for the right amount of privacy. It was very clean and no mosquito bites. The beds were comfortable. We stayed for 2 weeks and wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the same unit. My spouse is extremely picky and this was the only condo he’s liked in 15 years. We loved the pool - beautifully done so you feel like you’re in paradise. Beach is just across the street.

Wonderful Maui

Clean and nice location

We were impressed with how clean the place is . Although we didn’t use the kitchen much , fully equipped . The only negative , the property didn’t have elevator and it was hard to haul the luggages up the stairs . Especially with elderly that have knee and back issues . Other than that , we loved the property .

Great Kihei Location

This unit is an excellent place to stay on Maui at a quite reasonable cost. It is part of a large and nice complex and feels very secure. The unit has a great location in Kihei – convenient to many excellent beaches, upscale shopping in Wailea, and is accessible to other places like Lahaina and Kaanapali and even Haleakala and the Road to Hana. Many restaurants are within walking distance, and at least three regular grocery stores (Foodland, Safeway, and 1 other) were within a short drive – we recommend, however, that you avoid Safeway because it was overpriced relative to the other two grocery stores. The unit was spotless upon our arrival. There were adequate quantities of towels (including beach towels), a modest supply of starter items (such as paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap, dishwashing soap, and laundry soap), as well as chairs and an umbrella for the beach. The parking spot can be a little difficult to find if you don’t read your “final instructions” email carefully – the instructions were clear; it was the recipient who was at fault. If we are blessed to have the opportunity to return to Maui, this is the place we will stay!
