What a beautiful place! It was in a great location for our hikes. An amazing river was outback. Loved soaking in the hot tub after hiking all day. We had a group of 9 and had plenty of space. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great property. Convenient to Mt Rainier National Park. Murphy bed in cabin was not the best bed ever but loft bed was amazing. Beds in main house were great. River was unexpected and super cool both literally and figuratively. Fire pit and jacuzzi were great. Kitchen was solid with plenty of utensils. Great experience. Would recommend.

Perfect location, well stocked, very clean, the host was very responsive. The river was so close to the cabin you could hear it and a quick walk away. The neighborhood is very quiet. The fire pit was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. We will return.

This was such a cute cabin rental for a friends weekend. The kitchen is so well stocked, the rooms are very well set up and plenty of linens. We loved the hot tub and the walk down to the river. The cozy cabin lighting and fire place was great. There’s even a great selection of old movie classics!

Perfect cabin for mountain gateway

Our family of 6 stayed a few days in this well furnished cabin to enjoy some mountain and ski time before Christmas and had a wonderful stay. Kitchen is fully accessorized and beds comfy with warm blankets. We enjoyed the living room stove and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Saving listing for future stays!

Great Mount Rainier Location

River Run Lodge was great. Perfect spot for day hiking trips into Mt. Rainier NP. Just a few miles from Packwood. Quiet back deck for evening libations. Loved the old school stereo with turntable and albums too!

We really appreciated a few things about this property—the kitchen was well stocked, the location was excellent, and the patio was a really nice place to relax. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by the overall lack of cleanliness throughout the home.I was surprised to see other reviews describing the house as clean, because our experience was the exact opposite. There were cobwebs in the frame of the Murphy bed and above the cabinets in the main house. In the in‑law suite, we killed at least 20 spiders during our stay. Many of the glasses had visible fingerprints and even lipstick marks. We found three TV/VCR remotes but couldn’t control the volume until we discovered a fourth remote buried in the couch cushions later in the week.The in‑law suite also had a wrapper under the Murphy bed and a cherry pit behind the door, which made it clear that the space hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.The layout of the home is nice, and it has potential, but the most basic expectation—a clean place to stay—was not met. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Cabin Stay

A few friends and myself were wanting to get a cabin for a weekend for some time now. We found this one and it was great. Very clean and great location. Communication with the host was easy. Absolutely recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a weekend trip!

Great location! This place had everything we needed for an amazing ski trip. It was clean and well-equipped with kitchen essentials. The backyard was so fun with the fire pit and hot tub. Zero complaints. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay

House is amazing. The record player is an absolute treat. Spent a fabulous weekend with closest friends relaxing and listening to good tunes. Put your phones away and soak in the scenery.
