Lakefront Cabin on West Point Lake, private dock, fire pit! Near Lagrange

The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated and charming ! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access. The upstairs loft bedroom has two full beds, a daybed and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking! Please note this is a non-smoking property.

Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During fall/winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We also have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds. WE NOW HAVE fiber WiFi! Yay!

We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. If you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent.
There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock!
New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin!

Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping!

Great location with easy access to all the great outdoor stuff on a quiet slough. Clean, well appointed, comfy accommodation in small footprint- has everything you need for a retreat. Loved the fire pit, woodsy walk to the lake, and 2 coffee maker choices!

While we were only there for a short stay to go to my mother‘s funeral, it was a very nice place to come back to wind down for the day. Everything was clean, easy to find things and overall I would definitely come back for relaxation and family time.

The A-Frame on WP Lake was a wonderful home away from home. When I arrived after dark and opened the car door and was greeted by the starlight and the songs of cicadas, I knew I had chosen the just-right place.The deck provided a lovely setting for a meals with family, followed by a delightful conversation by the firepit one night. The bed was super-comfortable, as was all the furniture in the living room.The hosts were super-responsive, even going to extra lengths to search for a ring I had lost.I highly recommend this lovely space ... The property was nice again was very disappointed that we weren't told of the water dropping so very low like it did that was why we came back to fish off the dock and relax by the water

We really enjoyed our stay at the A Frame on West Point Lake. The home was very clean, cozy, and well appointed. The property was beautiful and we really enjoyed our time relaxing in the home and by the lake. This home will continue to remain at the top of our list for places we plan to visit again.

Great Stay

Our son who attends Auburn University met us here at the cabin. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and kayaking on the lake. My wife , myself, and 2 younger children visited Roosevelt’s Little Whitehouse and Callaway Gardens. Both were good trips not far from the cabin.

Relaxing Vacation spot

Nothing really bad to say! The host did a good job making the house feel like home. House was cleaned and cozy! The view and location is perfect. Definitely will be back for another stay.

Perfect Getaway

We were visiting family and enjoyed having our own place to stay. The cabin is so beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had 5 children with us and they loved playing in the yard and going down by the lake. The host is quick to respond when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Incredible lake cabin

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the A-frame. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with an amazing view! The accommodations were nice and comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Easy walk to the water/dock and the pontoon boat was a great addition to our stay as well.

Relaxing Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The listing is very accurate. The home was cute, homey and very comfortable. We were 2 families of 4, this was an half way point for us we live in NE Louisiana and the other family if from Durham, NC. We fit perfectly in the home without renting the above garage studio. My family took the top loft which was very spacious and the other took the master. When we arrived the home was very clean. Us having 4 small children (8,5,2 and 5mo) the first thing I noticed and appreciated was the very secure gated porch area. I never had to worry about the kids safety out there. I also appreciate the space full yard and that it was far enough off the road, but still had a gate we could close to the road.The lake water was higher than the levels pictured of the sitting area by the lake but that’s expected and we enjoyed swimming and jumping right off the dock. The dock was in great condition and was about 6 foot deep off the end of the dock. One of our husbands brought a bass boat and the 2 of them spent most of their days exploring the lake catching , catfish, white perch, and bass. The area has a lot of rocking areas that if you are one that enjoys noodling for large catfish! Lagrange was a beautiful town close by Iexplored the local nurseries and brought home way too many plants.WiFi worked great it was definitely needed very little phone service. Grocery and food delivery was available We are already planning to book again next year.

Quick trip

We only stayed for a night, but definitely enjoyed it. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was just as described. The water is a little shallow around the dock, so if you plan to dock a boat just be aware. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

It was absolutely gorgeous. We had fun on the dock, caught a few fish, and grilled out a lot!The only thing we didn't like was how close the neighbors were. The bedroom windows are beautiful, but they face the neighbors kitchen and deck. We had to leave the blinds closed the whole time for privacy.Other than that, it was a great cabin and great stay!

What a wonderful getaway!

We spent a couple of days here over spring break and had so much fun just relaxing, kayaking, fishing, and hanging out around the fire pit. The lake house was adorable and very clean and the host answered any questions we had very quickly. We will be back!
