The host was great and the house was nice. It rained the whole time we were there, so the kids didn’t get to use the amenities. Too many breakable to be comfortable with grandkids running around. I would stay again.

We stayed at Rhiannon’s place for 3 nights and we had so much fun. We are group of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 5-10 and everyone enjoyed the place. It has enough room/beds for everyone and even 2 extra rooms we didn’t use. The house is very beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything you need for family vacation. From kitchen stuff to outdoor activities. We went hiking towards the lake, played tennis and basketball and went swimming to the pool. They also have ponds full of fishes and kids enjoyed feeding them. We wish we stayed longer because the town has a lot of things to offer from fishing/kayaking in the lake, museums which was close because of the holiday. But we were able to visit the Wild Animal Safari which is only 30 minutes away from the house and we all enjoyed close encounter with animals, driving through and feeding them. That was a great experience. We definitely recommend this house if you’re looking for a quiet, safe community, secluded place but fun and lots of activities for both adults and kids.

Amazing outdoor space that our pups enjoyed very much. The large backyard and pool area were great for hanging out. There are an abundance of beds, so great for big groups. Well stocked kitchen utensils and such. The one big disappointment was the cleanliness. We had to prewash anything we used in the kitchen - literally everything. Toilets and rugs also seemed to be unclean. This house would be absolutely AMAZING if it were maintained properly, though I will acknowledge that is quite a task, as everything is so plentiful!

The house is huge and the yard is even bigger. It’s super peaceful and the pool OSS the perfect temperature. It’s a hidden gem!

The property was filthy!! Old and outdated nothing worked correctly!! Appeared like no one had stayed there in a while, half the interior lights didn’t work all the exterior lights didn’t work. The pool guy rigged the light in the pool to work. The playground pictured in the profile was burned to the ground!!! Then the owner filed a false claim that I damaged the A 60”TV and that wasn’t even on the property!!! The property was over grown and in disrepair!!! Owner was slow to respond, we were without power for 4 hours.Horrible experience!!! I pictured the property before and after to protect myself (great idea on my part)

Fishing Trip

Family Holiday

We loved our time together as a Big family of 12 at the Flamingo house. Very spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Kitchen was fully equipped too. We spent time playing games and roasting marshmallows by the outdoor fireplace. Would come again. Thanks

Not quite what I expected but nice

I was disappointed in a few things. First of all, the pictures show a nice swingset which, of course, caught my eye, because we brought 5 children with us. We were very disappointed to see it was not there anymore. The picture that shows it should be removed from the photos because it was actually one of the reasons I picked this property. Second, the cleaning service missed several spots. The walk in shower closest to the kitchen was draining slowly. When we lifted the cover, it was full of hair that had not been cleaned. There were also spots of what looked like blood on the bathroom floor...just not as clean as I would have hoped. There were also several areas outside where people had done bonfires and left bottles and cans, etc. Third, we also brought all of our fishing equipment as there were many pictures of the lake. However, the damn is being repaired and the lake water had been drained so there was no lake. It would have been nice to know this by email before we went. The house had plenty of room but we could not find garbage bags for the kitchen and had no idea that the upstairs could only be reached by a very narrow set of spiral stairs. This also would have been good to know. All in all, it was a good stay, comfortable and spacious. Better communication and presentation of the property and what it offers needs to happen though.

Lagrange vacation

Check in was easy. Outdoor area was wonderful lots of space, games. Easy parking. Close to everything We went to the Bible history museum had the biblical feast , lots of shopping , nice places we ate out at the ol diner and at captains the only thing that we needed more of bright lights for reading and playing games.

Loved LaGrange

We absolutely loved this house and the small town feel of LaGrange. We recommend eating at Captains. It was delicious. We had plenty of room to hangout and plenty of private space too.

Family Reunion

Our second stay and all was AWESOME again!! The property is very well maintained, every kitchen utensil, pan, dish, and appliance available and in great working order. The HUGE back yard, pool, tennis court, dock on the lake with the conveniently available large tree holding fish just in casting distance from the dock made for good fishing. In all, if you want a relaxing home and property with ALL the amenities, this IS the spot!!

Loved It!

Our family (parents, 2 teens, Grandma, and Grandpa) had a wonderful stay at The Flamingo House! The pool area is everything you could want and more: comfy chairs, big clean pool, covered shady area! Our dog loved running the property in the fully enclosed yard. The house boasted small touches that made it very easy for our family. Hand soap at every sink, paper towels, disposable silverware/napkins, spices, serving trays and bowls! There were big pool towels for us to use and even bug spray out by the pool! If your family is looking for a low key, relaxing vacation (we never left the house except for a grocery pick up at Walmart!) this is the place for you!

Perfect Place for Relaxing and Spending Time With Family

We feel so lucky to have found the perfect place to meet up with our son and family. We had more than enough room for the five of us to gather or spread out during our 2-week stay. Our 10-year-old granddaughter was never bored! We played board games, swam, played tennis, and cooked and baked in the well-stocked kitchen, The grounds were beautiful and the pool and patio were perfect, Our granddaughter was thrilled to stay in the room upstairs and said it was like having her own apartment! The wi-fi worked great! Rhiannon was wonderful at communicating and was very helpful. Thank you for being so accommodating about our pets as they are family too! We would definitely stay again!

Relax by the Lake

I really loved the Flamingo house! The owner had decorated the dining room and den for Christmas which made our stay even more special. It was too cold for swimming, but the pool looked very nice. The outdoor fireplace was wonderful. We brought our puppy with us and she enjoyed running around the fenced in backyard. The rooms had different themes, so it was interesting to view all the art in the rooms. If you are traveling near Lagrange, GA, check out the Flamingo House!

This property was ideal for our visit and the number of guests we had. The outside property was amazing! The adults could converse while the kids entertained themselves. We were so close to the wedding we attended if we forgot anything it wasn’t a problem because we could easily get back to the house and grab whatever we needed. The host answered all of our questions prior to our arrival! It was perfect!!

Great Lake House

Great rental! Plenty of room, amazing pool, and the lake is just a short walk through the woods (the kids loved it!) Wonderful week for my grandson's birthday! Close to downtown which was a very nice area to walk/shop/eat.

yAnother beautiful stay here with our family! This was our 2nd year and there is always room for everyone! Plenty of pool time, dinner around the table, playing games, or just relaxing together…this home has just the right place for everything we want to do. We want for nothing while staying here.

Enjoyable place to stay.

You feel like you are out in the country but much is close by. Your place to stay is on a 11 acre lot with a dock on the West Point Lake where you can fish. You have the swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball goal. A sweet goldfish pond where you get to feed the fish everyday. Very enjoyable view in the evening with the lightning outside. Nice big table outside where the whole family could eat together. We had a low country boil for everyone to enjoy eating outside at the big table. Granddaughter cooked a red velvet cake. A great place where we (family) made memories for a lifetime!!!!

Family reunion

Amazing property, well maintained, everything you need is there- all the kitchen equipment, basketballs, tennis rackets, fishing poles, pool floats, board games, puzzles etc. the property itself is outstanding! We’ll maintained riling lawns, HUGE fenced backyard, lovely shaded path through the woods to the dock- all EXCELLENT! We only left the property on Friday evening for dinner at Jaunitos , and it was excellent as well! Our group of 11 arrived unannounced, and we greeted by smiling people, made welcome, seated and had drinks and chips within minutes. The food was very good, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to all!

I can discount cleaning from the $300 a night because less to take care of when pool covered no plants and such during off season DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE -the site doesn't allow for the fluctuation with cleaning fee as it does on the nightly rate so contact me I can adjust manually during winter months again if less people than the base rate of 10 people
