Nearby Maine experiences include the world-famous Acadia National Park with hiking, biking, bird-watching and kayaking; the timeless lobstering villages of Prospect Harbor, Winter Harbor, and Corea with their blown glass and art galleries, quaint shops, and local seaside eateries; and bustling Ellsworth, where you can tour Maine’s premier historic estate Woodlawn Museum with its 180 exquisite acres and stately home or even try your skill at Candlepin bowling, played primarily in the Canadian Maritime provinces and here in New England!

Catch the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor if you long for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and the historical sights of Mount Desert Island. We were pleasantly surprised that the property was even better than the photos showed. From the moment we drove down the tree lined driveway to the house sitting right on the coast we fell in love with the place. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and the location absolutely cannot be beat.

Amazing Coastal Maine Vacation

What a wonderful family vacation. The house and property are exactly as described and even prettier in person. Jill was so helpful and gracious. The fridge was stocked with beverages and some delicious coffee cakes which were much appreciated after a long couple days of travel. Our family had a fantastic time enjoying the views, climbing the rocks, and visiting the surrounding area for hikes, great meals and lasting memories.

Beautiful house with amazing views! Chose this property for my 40th birthday trip. The property owners are super responsive and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. They stocked the fridge with drinks and left a couple birthday gifts around the house for me. I can’t say enough positive things. Lots of stuff to do and plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from in the area. So glad we chose this one, hopefully we’ll be able to get back in the future!

Peaceful and beautiful.

We have stayed in places all over the world and the hosts for this place were the best. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hosts left a wonderful welcoming gift. It was extremely clean and the views from the back deck are like something you see on a postcard. We saw harbor seals, bald eagles, and various other animals from the deck.If you want to enjoy the beauty of Maine, this is the place.

With what Mother Nature provides in the great state of Maine along with the hospitality of the host of this gorgeous coastal home, you will surely enjoy a great vacation. We were welcomed with delicious coffee cake, New England coffee, refreshing beverages and fresh fruit and flowers. The linen closet was stocked with hotel quality towels along with plenty of dish towels in the kitchen. The game room was one of the family favorites after a day of enjoying the out of doors. Waking up every morning to spectacular views of the water and wildlife is something that we will always remember and truly miss.

Property was as advertised. Nice and Peacefull neighborhood and a spectactular view of the Harbor. Jill our host was a ROCK STAR. We very much appreciated her leaving the lights on for us and the special anniversary treats. The house was spotless and was fully stocked with needed items. All of the room furnishings were very comfortable and nice.We especially loved the birds, the rabbits and our nightly Deer visitor.We cant wait to return.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect for families

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Lots of space to enjoy. For a family who plays lots of games, the game room was a real hit! Coffee on the rocks at the shoreline in the mornings and drinks on the deck at night were the perfect start and end to the day.

A Very Special Place

We so enjoyed our stay at this property - from early morning walks among the fresh smell of pine to watching the tides come and go in the bay - what a special place! Close enough to Acadia to make everything we wanted to see accessible, but far enough off the beaten path to be able to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day.
