This gorgeous property has breathtaking views at every angle! Lounge in the sun on the deck with your coffee and listen to the loons and wildlife wake up. Dip your toes in the water on your private rocky beach in the afternoon with the nearby Sally Islands in view. Enjoy your lobster or steak dinner on the expansive deck, and finish your day stargazing by the fire pit by the water.

The Space:
This gorgeous property has breathtaking views at every angle! Lounge in the sun on the deck with your coffee and listen to the loons and wildlife wake up. Dip your toes in the water on your private rocky beach in the afternoon with the nearby Sally Islands in view. Enjoy your lobster or steak dinner on the expansive deck, and finish your day stargazing by the fire pit with front row seats to the constellations and the milky way with little to no light pollution.
You won't want to leave the property, but if you do venture out there are many amenities nearby. Take a day trip to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. There are local farmstands, antiquing, trails, shopping, groceries, lobster pounds and more nearby.

The home is a ranch style with all one floor living space. It is open concept living with exposed beams and large windows with stunning ocean views.
The primary bedroom has a king sized bed and an en suite full bathroom with a walk in shower.
Bedroom 2: has a queen sized bed with plenty of storage.
Bedroom 3: has two double beds, sleeps 2-4 .
The additional full bathroom has a walk in shower with a seat and lots of room.
All bedrooms have black out blinds, new linens and bedding!
There is a large clean and open kitchen with all of the cooking appliances and supplies you may need for your family and friends to spend time together at home. The dining room offers a sizable table for 8 with great views.
The living room has a smart TV, a fireplace with candles for atmosphere, and comfy seating for family games.
There is a washer/dryer for your convenience.
Enjoy our waterfront access to the salt water cove in front of the house, with 150 feet of private shorefront. Kayaks can be rented locally.

Our stay was fantastic at Lone Pine. The house itself is clean and well stocked. The lay-out of the rooms is very open and accommodating and relaxing. But the beach front access and view were the best! Our first night there, we spotted a moose on the beach right in front of the house...it wasn't more than twenty feet from us. we then saw one 30 minutes later at the next door beachfront , so we don't know if it was a family of moose, or the same moose that had circled back after the first sighting.The fire pit and grill all made the outdoor living a pleasure. We are thinking of coming back next year.

We celebrated my 50th Birthday exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. it was a trip I will never forget! I LOVED everything about the property and we hope to bring our adult kids back! WOW!!!!!We thoroughly enjoyed the hour drive back and forth from MDI and also enjoyed dinners in Winter Harbor and checking out Schoodic.

Lone Pine seaside cottage is a wonderful place to have family vacation. The setting is gorgeous with a stunning view. The house is so well equipped. It is quiet and peaceful there. No sounds of traffic as it is on a dirt road that dead ends and the driveway is fairly long. Beds are very comfortable. So fun to experience the tide going in and out. Loved there tide clock on the kitchen wall. Fun discoveries on the beach.It is about a 40 minute drive to Schoodic point, a part of Acadia part not on Mt Desert Island. Stunning place to go. Highly recommend this place to stay!

Peaceful Vacation Spot by the Bay

Very peaceful environment. Rented kayaks and had a relaxing time. Nice family time around the campfire. All house and outdoor amenities were sufficient for our group of 6, however television did not work (maybe not a bad thing if it's good weather to keep you enjoying the outdoors. Some cobwebs indoors, stained bed blankets and wipeable dirt on bathroom walls.

Great place to get away

This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car.

Lone Pine Was the Perfect Spot!

Lone Pine was the perfect home base to relax and enjoy the scenery and quiet in between trips to the park and amazing dinners. The fall colors were beautiful!

Quiet Place on the Water

The house is in a wonderful location with the whole side of the house facing the water with a wall of windows and large deck for sitting with lots of comfortable chairs. It is located in a forest on a very quiet dirt road at the end of the peninsula, on a very quiet bay, with limited boat traffic and nearly silent neighbors. The only sounds are the wind and (mostly) sea birds). The house and property were very clean and very well equipped, including lots of paper and cleaning supplies that helped us keep things clean. Management was very quick to respond on site to a small matter that arose. Furniture etc were current and comfortable. Some camps have camp furniture. That was not this place. A great place to relax and spend time with family. Although isolated, the house is still only a 12 min drive to stores etc in Milbridge.

Quiet family retreat

We loved our stay at Lone Pine. The house was perfect for our family and we all enjoyed sitting outside and watching the tide go in and out. It was the perfect location for day trips to Acadia and Campobello island.

We loved our stay on Gouldsboro Bay! The home and yard were perfect for our family of 6. The home was very clean and the owners were very accommodating. The area has so much to offer! We would recommend to anyone and we hope to be back!

Beautiful View!

We loved every minute of our stay. The home is beautiful, the view stunning, and the scent of Christmas trees so refreshing! My grandchildren loved exploring the beach and we loved having our coffee on the back deck. It is a memorable place and we were sad to leave.

Outstanding in every way

We spent a week enjoying this amazing oceanfront cottage, celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. No detail was overlooked, the cottage is immaculate, the grounds are well cared for and the views are spectacular. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need to create fabulous meals, we cooked in most nights having spent our days exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. We even picked up a couple of live lobsters and put the lobster pot to use, yum! Communication with the property manager was a breeze, on the couple of occasions that we had to engage during our stay. We have had the opportunity to stay in a number of rental properties and this one tops the list! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Cannot recommend Lone Pine cottage more, and hope to one day return.

Amazing!

Had an absolutely wonderful time! The place was amazing and everything was provided. My sister, six neices and I had a very relaxing weekend. Beds were very comfortable and the view was unbelievable. We would rate it a 10 plus looking forward to coming back next year. 💕

Wonderful long weekend at Lone Pine on Gouldsboro Point Road!

Easy access, one-floor living, lovely deck looking over large front lawn with stairs down to a wonderful beach. Some-mores over the firepit, grilling on the deck, lots of games (cornhole, chess, board games etc.), nice fleece blankets in the living room, fully stocked pantry! Kitchen works well. Private location. Master suite at one end of the house, with two bedrooms and a bath at the other end. We couldn't have asked for more. And Ashley, the host, was really communicative and helpful. A+++ all around in our book, thank you!

Wonderful setting to relax with friends! Loved the view!

Came with friends to relax, see the fall foliage and enjoy all that Maine has to offer. The house was perfect! Everything was upscale…..bed linen, dish ware, patio furniture! Great location for visiting Acadia National Park, lobstering excursions and very good restaurants. I noticed a previous comment about the internet connection; we were a party of three at times and streamed movies, searched the internet and Zoomed all at the same time without any problem. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful - off the beaten track and lovely

We had a wonderful short stay here. The property is beautiful and very well equipped. We definitely would recommend this place to any families looking for a nice escape.
