Great property

Property was great! Only two complains I have:Water dripping constantly in bathrooms and 2nd bdrm - there was no room for luggage or moving around much.

Good place to Stay

For the price, exactly what we needed. You got the beach access for an additional cost that wasn’t really mentioned until you got closer to your check in date so that was a bummer but it did not ruin the time we had there and was as advertised on every other front.

Gorgeous beachfront property

This property is perfect. The view of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony is breathtaking. The listing has everything you need in the kitchen. It was a wonderful spot for our stay at the Emerald Coast!

Beautiful Condo on the Beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beautifully decorated and spacious condo on the beach! Perfect location to restaurants and shopping. The beach and pool areas were wonderful! We’ll definitely be back!

Great View and Pool

We really enjoyed our stay—this unit has one of the best views in Destin, and the pool area was a great place to relax. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. That said, it could benefit from a deep clean and a few updates—especially in the bathrooms and the bedroom carpets, which are showing their age. Overall, a solid place to stay if you’re after a great view and location, just know it’s a little worn in spots.

Sterling Sands

Condo was very clean, great location. Management sent several emails and texts checking in and keeping me updated on status of check-in and welcoming us. I would definitely recommend staying at their properties.

Destin vacation

Overall good experience. The condo was beautiful and clean! My only complaint is that we were unable to purchase more wristbands for our son's Army buddies who came down for the day to visit with him.

Enjoyable trip

Everything was great except: cleaning towel in fridge and 0 garbage bags. Extra blanket smelled. Condo was nice and comfortable but needs to have fresh linens and blankets every time a new renter arrives. Need extra blankets

Great memories

It was chilly during our stay so unfortunately we didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It was very relaxing though just sitting on the white sandy beach and taking walks. Would definitely go back but a little earlier when the weather is warmer.

Beach vacation

Upon arrival our gate code was wrong so we had to rely upon a worker to help us access the pool and beach until the property manager gave us a new code very helpful however the company we rented from never gave us the proper code and only checked back by text and never followed up would still stay again just use a different leasing company

Nice Place

This is a great location. The heated pool and hot tub were a plus. It would be nice if they had k-cup coffee maker. No waste of coffee filters or left over coffee. A hair dryer in the unit would be helpful. We bought beach towel and a beach chair while there and left it for the next guests. We loved the view from the unit. Will stay here again. Only problem we had was the entry door. Almost every time, we had to enter the combination twice to get it to work.

Condo was overall good. Balcony furniture was old dirty dry rotted tearing & so broken down you could not sit on it. It was so broken down it was on the bars. The kitchen table & bench was not adequate the cushions did not even fit the bench. The view was phenominal from the balcony. The ac worked great the beds were very comftorable. The overall condo building & staff. Very nice landscaping. The staff was very unprofessional & downright rude. The pool is suppose to stay open until 10 pm the hot tub says 11pm they were always trying to close the pool early & always closed the hot tub at 10. Always inserting themselves into peoples conversations that they were having while sitting in the hottub. The owner sent one of his workers out to the ocean to tell me he was taking pictures of me & i could not smoke in the ocean. Thats just creepy & perverted that hes at the condo im all the way in the ocean & hes taking pictures of me that i did not give him permission to do. I felt so violated. I immediatly left the beach went to condo packed my stuff & never went back down to the beach or pool. I would never stay there again. He is a pervert.

A good month with one exception...

Overall we were pleased with our choice with one exception. A main reason we chose this place was the use of and view from the deck. After our first week we were told to remove all furniture from the deck which we did. We hoped it would be for just a few days, instead it was an inconvenience for the remaining three weeks of our stay. We were able to stand on the deck when the workers were not there but even then we had cables interrupting the view. The tarp ruined any view when sitting so bringing out the furniture was a waste of time and effort. The last three days we were there we were not even allowed to set foot on the deck. I understand that maintenance must be done. However given the fact that we did not lock this place in until late December it seems we could have been given a heads up and a chance to back out. In closing... To be fair we enjoyed our stay with that one exception.

Fantastic Stay

The condo was very nice. The unit was clean and in good order on arrival. I especially liked having a clothes washer and dryer in the unit. You do not have to pack so heavy on clothes. The property is convenietly located in Destin with plenty of activities just a short drive away. Wal-Mart, Target and Winn Dixie stores are less than a minutes drive away. So it is easy to stock up with supplies for the week. Fudpuckers, Lulu’s and AJ’s restaurants are just some of the fantastic nearby places to eat. There are two water parks and gccart tracks with in walking distance. There is no lack of things to do nearby. The beach was fantastic clean clear water some sea weed but not bad. Beach chair and umbrella rentals were reasonable. Everyone was so friendly right down to the security people who did a super job. I would recommend the sterling Sands to anyone looking for a great vacation. The one thing I was disappointed with was the Wi-Fi it is a bit slow. Otherwise it was fantastic. They do not supply fresh linens daily. You have to launder the ones you are supplied with. Bring your own beach towels. They have three gas grills on site for cooking out doors. The fitness center was okay not the most elite. But did not go to be in the fitness center. You get plenty of exercise swimming and doing other activities. I recommend AJ’s boat cruises and Sun Dog parasailing both located in Destin harbor minutes from the condo. Don’t forget Thursday night in Destin Harbor is fireworks night. Over all had a great experience.

I received the wrong code for our unit by text befire we arrived but it was fixed within 5 minutes after arrival. Beautiful location, perfect view of the beach.
