A great place to stay!

Everything in the condo was as described in the listing. The owner is great! She is super helpful and quick to reply. The condo is clean with no strange smells. The living room furniture and the king size bed are comfortable. We did not sleep on the bunk beds, they would be great for children. The kitchen has everything that is needed, and more than enough bathroom towels were provided. The building is clean and relatively sound proof. The pool area is well maintained. There is plenty of parking. The view from the balcony really is spectacular. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great Stay

The unit was immaculate and well equipped. A real treat was rocking chairs on the balcony. Sterling Sands overall is a great place - everyone is friendly, the pool is heated and there are some activities run by the visitors.

Wonderful experience!

Our positive experience started before our trip. Liz communicated with us shortly after the booking and stayed in touch up until our arrival keeping us informed about the process. I really appreciated that as it helped eliminating the arrival anxiety of what to do, especially since we were arriving after office hours. She was very welcoming and kind which set the tone of what to expect. The apartment was very clean, well-kept and nicely decorated. The view was stunning! Hands down one of the best experiences we had. We really appreciated Liz communication with us and the care she showed. It was obvious that she wanted us to enjoy our stay and have a positive experience at her place. Thank you Liz!

Beautiful Getaway!

So beautiful! I traveled with my mom and husband for a birthday getaway. It’s my first time using Vrbo and was a bit nervous but everything was way better than expected, comfortable, and very clean. Liz was very attentive and responded promptly to any question I had. I especially loved how I did not need to worry about any “hidden fees”. My vacation started as soon as I arrived, no hassle. The view to the beach was beautiful. We were also able to see both, sunrise and sunset, from the lanai which was a good surprise. I will definitely be back, thank you Liz for everything.

Very nice condo

The condo and entire property was just as nice as the listing indicated. Liz was a wonderful host and very responsive. One suggestion would be to invest in some blackout blinds in the kid’s bedroom similar to what is in the master bedroom. There was so much light coming in at night.

Beautiful Fall Break

We really enjoyed the property and the location to fun activities. It was so nice having the beach chairs and umbrella available to us. The boys (age 9) loved the pool and the bunk beds. We like the convenience to The Track and other arcades. We will be back.

Comfortable and Relaxing

We loved our stay at Liz’s condo. The beach was great and the pool was nice! The condo was comfortable and we were able to enjoy and relax on our vacation. Definitely would return!!!!!

Very Nice!!!

Out of all the places I have stayed in this area, this place was definitely toward the top of my list. Communication with the owner was on point as she provided clear and concise instructions as well as recommendations. Liz also immediately responded to any questions or concerns about gate codes and whatnot. Check in/out was super easy. The grounds and condo are immaculate. You can tell they take pride in making sure they are beautiful, clean and trash free. The condo was super clean, furnishings are beautiful and comfortable and the view is amazing. The only recommendations I have for improvements are to assess stays according to length and provide more toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags, bath towels, kitchen towels (there were none), dish soap and laundry soap. Other than that, our stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend!!!

This is a great property, and Liz was fantastic to work with! She was very responsive and flexible in accommodating our early check in request. The condo is close to lots of shopping, activities, and restaurants. She also gives a comprehensive list of things to do and places to eat that was so helpful!

Spacious Condo - Pleasant Stay

First time to Destin and we enjoyed it! Liz's condo looked exactly like it did in the photos. Our kids enjoyed the bunk beds and we loved having two bedrooms. The in-unit washer and dryer was a huge lifesaver. Make sure to bring trash bags, kitchen towels, wash rags, etc.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful view

Very clean and well equipted condo. Nice to have washer and dryer within the condo. It was also nice to have prepaid beach chairs and umbrella. The views were amazing and the owner was great with communication.

Great Family Getaway

Property and complex were very clean, great location, and everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and helpful! We had everything we needed there to fix meals and it was kid friendly. The beach service was such a thoughtful added touch. Liz was so nice and we so appreciate her hosting us!

Relaxing retreat

Liz's place was spectacular for our short getaway! She had everything prepared so our check-in was completely seamless. The building and facilities were great. We used the on-site gas grills multiple times and they were clean and well-maintained. The pool was a dream and the beach service was second to none! As others have noted, some accommodations are a bit dated, but everything was clean. The two large TVs were quite old and seemed to have a color distortion but they do not change my five star rating! I would stay here again.

I'm the ultimate beach lover. Anything 'beach' as long as I'm facing directly to the ocean or Gulf and I can hear the surf. I like fun activities nearby too and fabulous restaurants and pubs. I'm a native New Yorker living in Kentucky for the last 30 years, but you can bet I'm visiting one of my beach places...Destin, Naples, Montauk or Isle of Palms...as often as possible.

Destin offers more than just the beach. It's easy to fly into or drive to, and has everything you need either a short walk or drive away, including the incredibly unique Harborwalk Village. Where else can you get world-class fishing, restaurants, shopping, golfing and powder-white sand steps away? You can catch the sunrise AND sunset from my private lanai. A very short beach walk away is famous and delicious 'The Back Porch'. Across the street is a totally stocked liquor store and next door to the liquor store is Merlin's Pizza. To vacation here is to have the best beach, the most gorgeous 4th floor views, while having the necessities nearby and convenient.

When I walked onto the Sterling Sands private beach and saw the dazzling turquoise surf, I knew I'd found the ultimate beach get-away. The updated kitchen and baths cinched it for me and the kids couldn't wait to sleep in the bunk beds made up just for them. There is also a fitness center, a meeting room with a kitchen for parties, outdoor grilling area, beautiful grounds and I have a maintenance team on-site for your needs. Also, I am always very easy to reach and will strive to make your vacation wonderful and memorable.
