The beach was amazing but the stay was even better. On our way we received a call that the property was available to check-in early. We have never had this happen before and was great! Family friendly and a great welcoming stay.

BEST RENTAL EXPERIENCE SO FAR!The Sail is so well maintained! We have been renting through various companies in North Topsail Beach for 22 years. This is our first trip using VRBO and first time at this property. This is the first vacation that our rental was actually clean. It had nice linens, comfortable beds, and the kitchen had all the necessary tools to cook our meals. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this house - great location for the beach and activities in North Topsail/Surf City, and everything was very clean an well kept! We would definitely come back again to stay!

Peaceful stay

This place is exactly as it seems in the pictures. Super easy access to the beach among it perfect for the little ones who don’t want to spend all their time in the sand. I would definitely recommend for those wanting privacy as well as close proximity to the beach.

Porch is a bit of heaven. Kitchen, dining and living area upstairs: both bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs.

Perfect seaside retreat

Deanna is the perfect host- from beginning to (too soon) end - a lovely, super clean home with everything one needs for a relaxing vacation retreat. Lovely porches with beautiful views of the ocean. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

Summer trip

First time at TopSail Island first time renting a beach house and this one did not disappoint ! Great location , the house is super nice and the owner is amazing she will call you right back if you have any problems or questions . We will be back for sure I highly recommend The Sail

This is a very clean and well stocked with all your needs for cooking . Very quiet and the AC worked great with no issues.

Great vacation

Access was awesome, we have a 2 and a 3 year old, so access to the beach was amazing, everything was great, the o ky thing was i wished the bedrooms were upstairs and living space was downstairs, waking up to beach and waves is what you want at the beach, otherwise the trip amd experience was everything we wanted

Great place to just get away! We enjoyed watching dolphin from the top deck everyday! Topsail never disappoints!

Nice needs some tweeks

The good: Very clean, location is excellent, beach is everything we expected and owner is very responsive. The not so good: Furniture and bed are very uncomfortable. Odd layout, had a hard time getting used to the bed and bathroom on the first level. No screens on the sliding doors. Overall great stay, one of the best beaches we have been to.

Beautiful beachfront home

The Sail is a beautiful beachfront property! The kitchen is beautifully remodeled and The View is incredible! The beach, walkway and outdoor shower were perfect. I did have trouble with the soft mattress in the main bedroom but luckily realized the other bedroom has a more firm mattress and was more comfortable for me, after switching rooms with my son. I would have loved a soft comfy chair in the living room portion of the upstairs. Thank you for a wonderful week at the beach!

One Shell of a Time

We had a great time! The property owner was so easy to get a hold of! Definitely easier than going through a realtor to rent. The house was set up great too. Having the separate ac units vs having central air was amazing! Easier for diff preferences in the rooms. We will definitely be back to rent this or even another if the property owner has more rentals.

The SAIL was exactly what I needed! Oceanfront. Clean. Great communication with Deanna. Close to my friends in Snead's Ferry. Highly recommend.

Lovely rental as described

We enjoyed the open living and kitchen area, easy beach access, outdoor shower, and short drive to grocery and restaurants. Overall great stay as expected from the description. Would recommend!

Excellent Location for Relaxing Getaway

We loved our stay at this property! It was the perfect size for me & my husband to enjoy a week at the beach relaxing. The location is perfect -- far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet, close enough that you can still go out for dinner; and you're steps from the beach. We had a small hiccup with the A/C in the unit, but the property owner (who is wonderful) came by immediately to assess/address the issue. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very nice. My only complaint is the stairs. It would be nice if the sliding door to the beach walkway would lock from outside. Otherwise it was very nice.
