Little slice of Great Britain in Dallas....

This is for a whole house rental with use of pool, laundry, study, plus two bedrooms and bathrooms. It is Spring right now so the trees are just beginning to gather their leaves. I spend most of the year in England so am open to long-term rental discussion. My home is very close to Texas Motor Speedway, Southlake Town Square, Grapevine Historic District, Gaylord Convention Center, Sabre, 15 minutes from DFW and close to both Dallas and Fort Worth. Unique, beautiful home that will wrap its arms around you.
The space
Welcome! I have a precious home and I've lived here for 25 years and have loved making it a special, nurturing place to breathe, love and live joyfully. It is a 3 bedroom but one of the bedrooms I converted into an office, you can put a cot in there if required. I am a Joy Mentor and work from home. I live partly in London, and part in Dallas so am open to renting on a per night B&B basis or long term can be discussed. This is a whole house rental on a nightly, weekly or monthly basis and perhaps even long term. It has been freshly refurbished so everything (carpet, walls, and most furniture) is new. Suitable perhaps for an executive being transferred to Dallas on business.

The home has a beautiful, fully private back garden with pool and deck.

Fully equipped kitchen with new appliances plus kitchen nook for breakfast. The laundry room with new washer that seems to leave clothes smelling so fresh, a study in lavender (great feng shui color for attracting prosperity), the antique dining room is a great place to entertain, a 60” HD television in the living room and TVs in both bedrooms. There is even a baby grand if you play. The bedrooms are lovely sweet places to relax, both beds are very comfy but the master has a brand new Tempurpedic mattress which is oh so dreamy to sleep on. Jacuzzi tub in the guest bathroom, but we are currently working on a repair to master jacuzzi tub. A fountain in the living area provides constant, soothing water running to move the energy and creates great feng shui.

If you should require the high chair, cot, blow-up bed etc. please let us know ahead of time so we can have it ready in the property for you when you arrive.

Our family had a wonderful time! The home was just lovely and as described. The central location was perfect as we took several excursions to and from Fort Worth and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend!

A cozy nice place to relax

It was a great experience, the house was as described. And the pool was nice and refreshing especially on a hot Texas day. The neighborhood was nice and pleasant and the host was very responsive for any additional questions we needed to be answered.

Comfy and Cozy

This is a large house with a cozy feel conveniently stocked with everything we needed. There are so many interesting things to look at and read. The beds are super comfortable. And the pool is a nice, clean, refreshing deep pool. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and loved, Susie!

Slice of England

We booked this Slice of England home for a vacation to visit family that recently moved to the Ft. Worth area. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and highways which made getting around a breeze. The interior looks just like the photos and we enjoyed reading the personal stories behind the artwork and how meaningful they are to the owner. We had a couple issues after we arrived and Susie was very responsive and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. We hope to come back to the area again in the future.

Eclectic home in Fort Worth suburbs

This home is in a nice area, close to shopping, restaurants etc. Don’t let the traditional outside fool you. This house is anything but traditional in a very fun way! Lots of Great Britain memorabilia to wander through the house and look at. The house was very clean and the king bed was super comfortable. The owner was very receptive and accessible. We would stay here again!

Cozy in Trophy Club

My family came together in Texas and a few of us were able to enjoy this unique property in Trophy Club. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and the property overall had many comforts of home, along with many unique spaces and decor. The property is best for adults and older children, as there are many fragile items around the home and the outdoor area has precarious spaces. Overall we felt safe, comfortable, and enjoyed the eclectic nature of the property.

Wonderful!

Stayed at property for a nice mix of business and relaxation. Made some great memories as some of my family tagged along. The house was perfect and had offered everything and more than most rental houses we have stayed in. The decor is as described in the photos and it was a relaxed vibe the whole stay. The best part of our stay was the sparkling pool with the perfect temp and very very clean. Oh and I can’t forget the variety of books one can enjoy poolside. Comfortable beds etc. Susie is a great communicator and very welcoming to her home. 100% will stay again!

Wine Weekend Vacation

We came for a long weekend of wine tastings and floating in the pool and this property did not disappoint. The house is so unique and charming. A great location, about 15 minutes into Grapevine's Main Street where we visited multiple wine tasting rooms and enjoyed the shops. We spent our last day here just relaxing and floating in the sparkling clean pool. Just what we needed on a hot Texas summer day! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the pool is completely private. Susie is so kind and accommodating. She communicated with us regularly during our stay to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would definitely come back again!

British Hospitality!

From the moment we arrived we felt we were staying at a friend’s house! A welcome message was waiting for us at the door! The house was spacious, clean with lots of welcoming touches. We were a family of 6 and we had enough room for all of us to be comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool so much! Susie was the best host we’ve ever had. Answered any questions we had very promptly & took care of any needs right away. You can tell she put a lot of effort into every detail of her home & ensuring our stay was pleasant . Would recommend a thousand times!

Wonderful place to stay

Although the outside of the house is a bit deceiving (overgrown shrubs and brown grass), the inside is a fun eclectic home full of unique decor. We loved the brick archways and enjoyed reading all of the positive messages throughout the house. Many were funny (“sensitive toilet. Please try not to hurt it’s feelings”)! Many were about wine, laughter and friendships. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for when we wanted to cook. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms had adequate space for our things. The pool was sparkling, cool and refreshing set in a serene backyard. A great place to start your day with a cup of coffee or wind down in the evenings with a glass of wine. So we enjoyed our time here drinking wine and laughing with our good friends. We would stay here again.

Thank you for the great review Tietje. Sorry about the landscaping, the previous guests were there long term and I did not realized that the sprinkler system had stopped working. We are having unusually hot weather right now in Texas (almost 110% every day) so my landscaping did not survive it. We are working on getting it all back in shape. The trumpet vines, although large and bushy are healthy and survive the heat. With their big beautiful orange trumpets, I hate to cut them down as they at least add some colour to the outside when almost the whole of Texas is dry and brown.

Amazing, intriguing, I want to go back!

This property is truly a novelty in and of itself. You can just walk around and look at everything - decorations, the gorgeous pool and garden area, the layout of the house - and it already feels like you're vacationing somewhere in England. The host was there to show us around, and she is so sweet and personable. We had great communication the whole time. The house was very clean, entering and locking the door was a breeze, the neighborhood seems very safe and cozy - there's no reason to not book with Susie! There's no amenity missing. Cute towns nearby, golf courses, you name it. 1000% recommend.

I am very positive and joyful by nature, so my homes are filled with light and love.
