About ROANOKE. IT IS A QUAINT LITTLE "COWBOY" TOWN with a lot of history, charm and character. In 1881, The Texas and Pacific Railroad established this community and was name by a Surveyor from Roanoke, Virginia. Settlers lived here as early as 1847.
Situated halfway between Denton and Fort Worth, Roanoke served as a shipping hub for ranching and agriculture. The railroads were used extensively to ship cattle, cotton and wheat.

Legendary characters, Bonnie and Clyde lived here in the old Hotel Roanoke. Legendary Golfer Byron Nelson called this his home.

Roanoke has the honor of being called the UNIQUE DINING CAPITAL OF TEXAS. Cottage on Pine is located in the historical district and is walking distance from all these eateries.

Roanoke is CENTRALLY LOCATED-very close to DFW airport. You will have access to all the major freeways within a mile. Texas Motor Speedway, the renowed NASCAR and Indy Racetrack is 5 minutes away. The largest discount and outlet mall is 5 miles away. The upscale boutiques and shops in Southlake, Texas are also 5 miles away.

DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH and the STOCKYARDS are 30 minutes away. STOCKYARDS is where you will witness the traditional rounding of the Texas Longhorn Cattle. You can see a real rodeo and you are guaranteed to run into all the real Cowboys you will every want to encounter!! You can customize and buy your own Cowboy Hat...YEEHAW.. You will be able to visit the John Wayne Museum and dance the night away at Billy Bob's Texas, which is also know as the World's Largest Honky Tonk. Billy Bob's hosts major country and rock acts, has real bull riding, multiple bars and restaurants and an amazing dance floor.

DOWNTOWN DALLAS is 30 minutes away. The American Airlines Center hosts Basketball Games(Go Mavericks!) and Hockey Games(Go Stars) and numerous other events and concerts. You can visit the Historic 6th Floor Museum which is known as the location from where John Kennedy was shot. You can take a romantic carriage ride through Highland Park where some of the famous rich folks live. Amazing shops and restaurants await you here...

The Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Arlington Texas,home for the 2026 FIFA Soccer games is about 30 minutes away. Globe Life Park, also in Arlington Texas, is home to the Texas Rangers.

Cottage on Pine is about 2 miles from CHARLES SCHWAB HQ and about 3 miles from FIDELITY HQ. It is also close to Alliance Airline Maintenance Facilities and large distribution centers such as Amazon, LG, Michaels etc.

Drive a mile and see beautiful ranches including Ross Perot Jr's secondary home/ranch with all its Longhorn cattle and rolling meadows.

Cottage on Pine was built in 2023. It was personally designed by me and my best friend who is an amazing designer. We wanted the space to look like an English Country Cottage. Still adding gardens and landscape to make it look quaint!

Guest suite upstairs is quite large - 1300 sq.ft and is beautifully decorated with High End furniture -Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn furniture. You will feel so pampered with Crate and Barrel kitchenware and 55" Smart TVs in the living room and each of the bedroom. The bedrooms are large and have their own walk-in closets.

The entrance to the upstairs suite is private. Your privacy is honored. You won't see my beautiful face unless you request to do so!! And the space is very well insulated and sound proof.

Since the space is an upstairs apartment. You will need to be able to climb stairs. There are railings.
