Our beautiful Chalet is one of the very view Homes on Powder Mountain accessible by car during the winter months. Located at the end of Freshie's Lane, you can have it all: The comfort of driving up all the way to your accommodation AND the joy of dropping into the mountain's famous powder right from your doorstep!

Powder Chalet is located perfectly between Sundowner and Timberline Lifts. The newly opened Lighting Ridge Lift makes this home on of the best Ski in/Out Locations on the Mountain. Enjoy skiing down to Sundowner in the morning from your doorstep: You can catch first tracks and have easy access to the endless powder runs in the mountains' Powder Country area and enjoy first access to new Lightning Ridge Lift. Ski home at the end of your ski day from Lightning Ridge Lift directly home:)

Sundowner lift also offers night skiing, which is a really fun thing to do and to watch through the grand windows of the main living area. The Chalet is in walkable distance (5 minutes) from Timberline Lodge, or if you prefer, you can take the bus shuttle, which stops at the end of our driveway a quick minute walk away. No ski lockers, no parking-spot anxiety....just pure fun! And: our tip for the last run of the day - take the untracked hill down from Lightning Ridge - you finish your epic ski day with a powder run back to your front door!

Powder Mountain is one of the largest ski resorts in the country. and has over 8,400 acres of skiable terrain. With over 500 inches of 100% natural "Greatest Snow on Earth", limited daily ticket sales, cat skiing and guided adventure tours, it is truly the best kept secret and it lives up to its name every time. If you like to mix it up, famous Snow-Basin Ski Resort, home of the 2002 Men's and Women's Olympic Downhill competitions, is only a short 30 min drive away.

During the summer and fall Powder Mountain is a paradise for hiking and mountain biking with over 30 miles of extremely well designed and maintained trails with various levels of difficulty. There are trails for the experts and for your kids! Bike Rentals are available on the mountain (check www.powerdermountain.com) and in the valley. Driving up to the house during the summer months we have counted as many as 20 deer along the road! Pineview Lake is a quick 10 minute drive away, and is a wonderful recreation area for swimming, boating, fishing and water skiing. Or you can enjoy the beautiful mountain vistas while playing a round of Golf at Wolfcreek Golfcourse. There are endless possibilities for your summer get-away!

Powder Chalet's amenities and high end, contemporary furnishings provide all the comfort and luxury after a long day of skiing: Relax on the couch while watching the crackling fire in the wood burning fireplace, enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer while you soak in your private hot-tub, gather around the large dining table playing cards or board games while watching the sun set over the mountains...or cozy up on the comfortable lounge area in the family room for good movie while enjoying the warmth radiating from the gas fireplace. We suggest hanging out on the expansive deck with a hot mullet wine after skiing to enjoy the beautiful views! If you have extra energy after your ski day and feel you miss your gym, feel free to grab one of the snow-shovels to clear the deck or build an ice bar :)

We love good food and enjoy cooking, so we have made sure to equip the kitchen with everything you will need to prepare delicious meals. High end cookware, all the little tools and gadgets chef's love, a slow cooker if you want to come home to finished meals. We recommend hitting the Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in Salt Lake City on your way up, or if you prefer, we offer grocery shopping service for an extra charge. The General Store located in Eden, about a 10 minute drive away, is very well stocked with organic choices and there is a Liquor Store in Eden as well. Don't forget that liquor and wine can only be purchased in designated liquor stores in the State of Utah.

The Chalet has 4 bedrooms. A King Bedroom and the Kids Room featuring 2 Twin Beds and Trundles are located on the mezzanine level. The King Masterbedroom is located on the main floor and another King bedroom is situated on the lower level next to the family room. All beds are equipped with super comfortable mattresses and gorgeous luxury bedding.

The house has a laundry room with washer and dryer, a two car garage for your vehicles and ski /mountain bike gear.

Linen, towels, quick drying hot tub towels, plenty of dish towels and house slippers are provided.

The Chalet has fast wifi-internet for streaming your favorite movies or if you have to get some work done during your stay.

We recommend purchasing your lift tickets online ahead of your stay, as the mountain has a dynamic pricing policy and tickets get more expensive the later you purchase.
