New to the market. This completely renovated home, located in the highly sought-after Harter Heights neighborhood is within walking distance to Notre Dame, close to downtown, and to many great dining locations. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 baths, approx. 1,700 sq. ft. home sleeps 6. The home sits on a quiet street and offers great outdoor gathering spaces including a quaint front porch and backyard deck and dining area.
Guests love the brand new beautifully decorated modern transitional interior design that features a master en-suite that includes a deluxe walk-in shower, a newly built large kitchen as well as all new furnishings throughout. Three bedrooms, two with a queen bed and the other with two twin xl beds (two bedrooms share a new full-size bath). Every inch of the home has been completely restored from the studs up for your enjoyment.
This home has three smart TVs, a large kitchen island with seating for 4 that opens to the dining and living area. This home is perfect for those that appreciate the finer touches.

Home is professionally cleaned through a cleaning service experienced in COVID mitigation practices.

**Discounts possible for long-term rentals. and alternative cancellation options are available for non-peak times throughout the year.**

For larger groups, I can combine my home with other host homes next door or walkable to mine.

Fantastic place

We took our family of 5 to Notre Dame for a game and this house was perfect. It was in a great location and the house was so charming. Check in and out was a breeze , and we weee welcomed with snacks and drinks upon our arrival. Wonderful house and would highly recommend.

Wonderful Home and Stay

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Owners are great with an easy booking, Check in, very helpful and accessible. Football Weekend

Great property in a fantastic location. Our host personally called two days prior to arrival to see what we’d need and explain features of the property. It’s an easy walk to the ND campus and Eddy Street Commons. Property has been updated, was clean and our host even left welcome gifts (snacks) for us. The next time we come to ND we will definitely stay here!

Beautiful place - close to campus

Close to the Notre Dame campus - about a 15 minute walk. Beautiful house. The master bathroom was amazing!! The living room & dining room were spacious and comfortable. The patio out back was lovely for morning coffee. Really enjoyed this location. Plus we really appreciated the snacks our host left for us! Speaking of the host, Dan was super responsive, very helpful, and an all-around great host! He made sure we were able to get in using the instructions he provided and responded to my messages quickly. Such an amazing experience!

Amazing home in South Bend for Notre Dame Fan

Dan is a wonderful host that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We arrived late in the evening and the kitchen was stocked with food and drinks. The house was exceptionally clean and beds were very comfortable. The back yard was great for family dinners. Great park with a lending library just around the corner was visited daily. The neighborhood is safe and walkable to ND campus. I would absolutely recommend this house to friends and family and plan to return again next year. Thanks Dan. Go Irish!!

Exactly as advertised — Would stay again

Dan’s place fit our needs exactly and photos in VRBO were 100% accurate. We were at ND for our daughter’s graduation from ND M.Ed/ACE program July 11-14. The house is a short walk to the south edge of the Notre Dame campus and the Eddy St shops. It would be ideal location for an ND football game, Junior Parents weekend, graduation or any other campus event. Kitchen was well-stocked & well-appointed but we didn’t prepare elaborate meals during 3-night stay. Beds were comfortable and sheets/bedding not shabby/worn). Plenty of towels for our group of six adults. A/C worked well—a must since temps reached high 80’s during stay. We also used outdoor patio which was relatively new and trees provided ample shade during all parts of the day. Did not use either grill but they’d have come in handy had we needed them. Dan was a good & communicative host — there were a mix of beverages to welcome us. All parking is on-street which wasn’t an issue. On an ND game day, you’ll appreciate the ability to leave your car and walk to the campus & ND Stadium. We would definitely recommend this for six people and would stay here again.

Great location, clean house, home owner is very nice.

This was our base for going to watch racing in Michigan and it worked out great. Right near downtown and incredibly quiet neighborhood.

Best Owner / Guest Communication Experience ever for rental

The owner, was incredibly responsive, and called personally for an introduction to the property. Our party arrived quite late, coming from the west coast, and the house was pre-stocked with frozen pizza's, drinks, and snacks. Our school aged children were much appreciative, as were the adults. The location proximity to ND is excellent.

I highly recommend this for a place to stay in South Bend

We got here around dinner time. The place was recently renovated and it shows. It looks brand new. Everything with the house was perfect. There is a back patio that makes for a nice relaxing area to sit in the evening or when you wake up with a cup of coffee. There are neighbors, but they seemed to keep to themselves, so it is quite private. We had no issues. It is a little bit to walk to the campus but we enjoyed it. There is a Trader Joe's down the street if you need to get some food. It has a Keurig for coffee and has all the necessities you need (sliverware/cups/plates/etc). I wouldn't stay anywhere else if we needed a place to stay in South Bend.

Lovely updated home

The property is immaculately clean and no detail was forgotten. Snacks and beverages awaited our arrival and Dan even offered to stop at the grocery store before we arrived. After a 10 hour drive, the home was a relaxing refuge. We were in town to visit our college-age daughter. Thanks, Dan for your hospitality.

Great house and a great owner.

This house is amazing and close to the Notre Dame campus. Dan's hospitality and flexibility is amazing. Everything worked out great for our family trip, and we especially enjoyed Dan's little hospitality touches. We will definitely return to this house on trips to South Bend in the future.

Cozy house, close to campus

Great location, an easy 20 minute walk to Notre Dame stadium. Walking distance to restaurants at Eddy St commons. House was very comfortable, plenty of room and all the kitchen essentials. The owner was great to work with and took great care of us before, during and after.

Amazing!

My stay at Dan's place was amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything else. The place looks exactly like the pictures. It is beautiful and very well maintained. Dan is an incredible host and even welcomed us with a basket of treats. He was extremely attentive and on top of everything, always wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, very close to campus and to Eddy St! I highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy stay near campus to consider Dan's place. Definitely one of the best VRBO experiences my family and I have ever had! Thank you Dan and Peggy for your hospitality!

Excellent Updated Property Close to Campus

This house is nicely updated, clean and close to campus. My husband and I and our three boys came to South Bend for a Saturday football game and campus tour. All five of us were able to sleep comfortably and walk back and forth to campus. We had no issues with the property and the communications with the owner were excellent. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again ourselves.

Great location for any ND events

I want to thank Dan for his hospitality and beautiful place. The location is great, and it really is a short walk to Eddy's Street and the campus. The inside of the house is perfect. Everything is done to perfection. My family and I enjoyed the open first floor with a great kitchen that has all. Upstairs, the new bedrooms are beautifully done and very comfortable. As we dropped our daughter off to start her freshman year at ND, we now know that a perfect location for us is here. Thank you again; we will be back very soon. Joe

My home is located in heart of the most desirable neighborhood near Notre Dame. Very walkable to all Notre Dame and downtown South Bend has to offer. I live 30 minutes away and take great pride in providing a 5-star property and personal service during your stay. Most of my guests have been parents of Notre Dame students who have high expectations in their home rental experience. All my renters have stated they will definitely rebook with me if they return to the area.
