Summary:

Book Winter! Directly across from beach access and minutes from Seaside! Enjoy a private pool, multiple outdoor spaces, a full kitchen, seating for 10, and luxury bedding. Bikes are included for exploring 30A. Dog-friendly and perfect for families—your ideal beach escape awaits!



The Space:

New 6 seat lithium powered golf cart avail. for rent: high season is $650 per week. $525 for non-high season stays. 4-6 newer beach chairs and solar tent shade for free. Saves hundreds by not having to rent beach chairs or umbrella. All newer linens, mattresses and pillows. Kitchen fully stocked, coffee (kureug) washer/dryer, gas grill. Private pool. Can be heated for addtl. expense.



Bikes Included!



WE LOVE PETS. Bring your well-behaved pooch. Just ask you to keep him/her off the couches and beds. If that's too hard to take, place a towel under your special critter please. We do provide doggy bed too.



We provide a pack-n-play and high chair for the youngsters.



We replace HEPA filters monthly.



Guest Access:

Parking room for 2 larger SUV's, walk to seaside, many many close restaurants, seafood market across the street.



Getting Around:

Bikes included, Golf Cart available to rent, lots of on site parking and steps to beach. 1 mile from Seaside

We super clean our homes after each stay. Air filters are changed monthly. We self manage as we're the owners of the home. You'll get great response times on all questions and concerns.

We can also offer great advice on questions about the home and area. We've been addicted to 30A for 20 + years.

We also know you work hard for your money and we try to make each stay great.

Wonderful Beach House

We had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Mimosa! Close proximity to Beach and restaurants and the private pool was great to relax and enjoy in the afternoons in. Would definitely rent again and recommend.

This home was perfect for our family and friends. We had four adults and four teens. We also were able to bring our puppy. Perfect location, so close to the beach. Maybe a 2-3 minute walk. Golf cart was so much fun and made getting around so easy. Bikes also included. Just perfect.

Amazing Accomodations

Our stay was wonderful. This home is beautifully furnished clean and Bill (property owner) was great to work with. Will be going back to stay at this property as well as the other Seaside property that Bill owns. He and Penny are wonderful to work with and provide any support you may need during your stay.

Great location! Plenty of room for families

Our family enjoyed our stay at Casa Mimosa! The location was right across the street from the beach and very walkable for our family of all ages. The setup of the house was perfect for 3 families staying here, each family has their own private full bath. Plenty of beach chairs, towels, cooler, and sun shades were provided for all of us to enjoy the sunny days at the beach. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. We will definitely be back!

Annual Family Vacation

Exceptional location to the beach. House was everything we needed. Pool was perfect for afternoons after a day on the beach. Homeowner is very accommodating! Will definitely be back. Golf cart made getting around 30-A very easy.

Great House!

The house was great and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen - They even had a nice first aid kit that came in handy when we needed a bandaid! The beds were comfortable and the location for us was perfect! We paid extra to heat the pool, which was very nice on a couple of cool windy days. The Owner was very responsive with a few questions we had. Hopefully we will be back again next year!

Wonderful home and fantastic location!!!

My family and daughter’s two friends stayed at the home. We had 6 adults total. The house was wonderful! It is nicely decorated and had what we needed outside of groceries for the week stay. I would definitely recommend renting the golf cart from them. It was really nice for short trips. The beach is an easy walk from the house and it was really nice to have our own fenced in yard with pool. The property managers are super great! They were very communicative and responsive when we had questions. Restaurants in the area were really good. We couldn’t have booked a better property! Thanks for a great anniversary trip!!!

Beautiful property and great location

What a wonderful week! Everything was absolutely perfect! I am extremely picky with cleanliness and this house exceeded our expectations. The pool was perfect after spending the mornings on the beach. Every night we would either sit in the backyard or upstairs on the balcony with the kids. We also walked to the beach every night...our favorite! We grilled out twice and ordered in most nights due to covid. The Donut Hut was our favorite breakfast place with fast delivery! We especially loved the peace and quiet of your location compared to other areas in Destin. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Perfect stay at the beach

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The owners thought of everything to ensure theirs guests have a great vacation! The property is steps away from the beach access and a bike ride from Seaside. The house was very clean and had plenty of towels and beach towels. We picked up some fresh grouper from Goatfeathers Seafood Market and had everything needed in the kitchen to cook dinner. One evening we grilled burgers on the gas grill by the pool. The pool was clean and refreshing. The bikes were a nice perk and made it easy to ride into Seaside for lunch since Parking is limited in Seaside. I highly recommend you consider this home for a perfect home away from home vacation at the beach! Amazing hospitality!

Fall Family Vacation

The owners/ property managers were wonderful to work with. Attentive, prompt, and quickly addressed any problems that we had. (The pool heater had some issues for the larger part of our stay but they refunded days we weren't able to use it with no problems) It's very well stocked with everyday needs, unlike a lot of rentals that we've had in the past. Location was our favorite! The house is located directly across the street from the beach access and it's a beautiful board walk. It was my favorite thing to do in the mornings with coffee. The only thing that I wish there would have been a little more detail about, being a pet friendly & kid friendly home, is that the backyard & pool area only has one access in the house and it's through one of the bedrooms. There also is no grass in that area for the animals. I ended up having to harness and leash up my two pups early each morning and walk outside to get to the fenced area so that I wouldn't wake up the guests in that bedroom. Not ideal. Overall, wonderful stay!

Nice House, Great Location and Responsive Owners

We thought this was a really nice house. The location was amazing with a very short walk to a private area on the beach. Walking into Seaside is definitely possible at the right times of the day/year (late morning through early evening is not recommended due to the heat in July), but I recommend renting the golf cart. You can go into Seaside, the Publix or Seacrest in the golf cart. The pictures in the listing are mostly accurate. There is some different furniture versus several of the pictures in the listing. The patio furniture is mostly different along with the master bedroom upstairs and front balcony (the wicker couch is there now from picture 2/33). There is a two level condo complex right across the street from the front of the house. We had no issues, but just something to know as the balcony faces the complex. Some of the appliances and furniture have been used more than others, but you can't expect everything to be brand new. One Master Bedroom is upstairs off of the kitchen and the other is downstairs and is the access to the pool and patio. You can access the pool by exiting the front door and walking around the house. If you need anything from the kitchen while at the pool, you will get your steps and stairs in. We recommend having a cooler that you can bring down to the pool to save trips back in the house. The owners were very friendly, helpful and fast to respond to any questions we had. Overall, I would definitely consider this house again given the location and owners.

Birthday Celebration at Casa Mimosa

We enjoyed our stay. The house was just the right size for 3 couples. It was clean and pretty. The pool area was exceptional. The only downfall was access to the pool. You either had to go through a bedroom or around the house. Maybe remove the dining area window and make it a door with steps-might be more convenient. We would stay there again!

Beautiful house with new owners

The house got new owners in April. The house was tastefully decorated, the kitchen well stocked and beds comfy with very nice linens. Some of the website pictures show a different view of the house. We had issues with lights, lamps and beach equipment but the owners took care of this. The upstairs balcony’s table and chairs were replaced when we were there. Other cushions were stained and need replacing. The pool and deck were very nice and our grandsons enjoyed this daily. To get to this area one must either go through the first floor master bedroom or go outside and go around to the gate. The covered patio was welcomed at the end of the day-with shade!. The front balcony on the second floor looks over a parking lot of the motel next door and of 30A and traffic. The house was one building away from 30A. The walk to the beach was quick, the boardwalk being very nice. Be aware that private vendors aren’t permitted to set up umbrellas and chairs. On the beach area we were permitted to stay.The house has an umbrella or canopy (new one had not come before we left) and a nice big wagon to carry all your stuff to the beach. The beach area for this house is private which was very nice. On either side of this small beach were many set ups from other rentals., it looked crowded. We didn’t use the golf cart or any of the 4 bikes-six are listed on the amenities but 2 had been stolen. They were very rusted. I see that our rental has increased about 400 a night since we booked! Wow

We had a wonderful time at Casa Mimosa.

This house is beautiful; the pool was fantastic for our kids to hang out after coming from the beach. The Beach access also was super close to the house. The best thing was that the house has, beach chair, towels, tent, wagon, and other beach accessories for the kids to play. We also rent the golf cart, and it was so much fun to go to seaside and around!. We have some issue with the cleaning, but as soon we contact the management they immediately took action and solved it. They have fantastic customer service. We love to spend the whole week at Casa Mimosa.

Great Place

Great place, very clean, very close to Seaside, . A little pricey for the house so we opted to not pay additional for the golf cart , would be a nice gesture to have a golf cart thrown in at that price. No issues other than that.

Location location location

I don’t ever write reviews. Ever. But I feel this place and the new owners need a shout out. The property/house itself are a little older but very well maintained with some really nice updates. The rooms were spacious and bathrooms clean. The pool was perfect and we grilled and enjoyed the outdoor seating immensely. There was a nice shaded portion which was perfect for morning workouts. That said, the kitchen itself and some of the upstairs furniture needs some TLC. It wasn’t as organized/clean/updated as one would hope however that did not deter us one bit. The location of this property can only be beat by actually being directly on the beach. We were right across the street abs the nature path leading to the water was so pretty and easy. The owner was super easy to deal with and corrected any issues we had (they were minor and she inherited them as they just purchased this property) with speed and proficiency. Some of the beach chairs need replacing as did a wagon that was done immediately. It is possible to fly down to the beach with nothing but your suitcase and have every single need met in this home without needing a car for the length of your stay. Everyone in our group agreed that we would go back simply based on the location of this gem.

Great location!

This was a nice house with a great location. There are several restaurants within walking distance where you can sit outside to eat. An amazing organic cafe and yoga studio are right next to the house.

Perfect Spring Getaway

Our week in Sea Grove at Casa Mimosa was everything we had hoped it would be for Spring Break. The home was very clean and organized. It was well stocked with bath and beach towels, beach chairs, and all the kitchen tools you would need for cooking, etc. We opted to heat the pool for the week, which was an awesome option on some of the chillier beach days. The outdoor space was delightful out by the pool and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the upstairs porch each day! The homeowners were very responsive with any questions we had throughout the week. Beach access was so easy and convenient and walks to Seaside or the local Donut Shop were a great way to get exercise each day! We loved our visit and hope to stay at this home again soon!!

Hi, we are Penny and Bill. We purchased Casa Mimosa as a vacation rental. Having been down to 30A for years, we knew the location couldn't be beat and it had a private pool! Two of our must have's. We enjoy traveling to our favorite places and spending time in a well appointed home. We have other rentals in the area as well as Carmel, CA and Lake Tahoe NV.

This property is in an amazing location (less than a mile to Seaside) and is walkable to many restaurants and stores. The house has a private pool which can be heated in the winter.
