Sunset Retreat: Mile Marker 21 Overlook

​​​​​​Beautiful and spacious house with stunning views overlooking the 21 Mile Marker! With 5 Bedrooms and 3.5 Bathrooms, this Lakefront home can comfortably accommodate a family or group of 20 people.

1 King bed in a separate bedroom that sleeps 2 people.
The primary bedroom on the 1st floor has a Queen bed and sleeps 2 people.
Two other bedrooms also have Queen beds, each sleeping 2 people.
There is a bunk bed room that can accommodate 6 people.
Additionally, there are two fold-out chairs downstairs that can sleep 2 people, and a futon that can sleep 1 or 2 people.
Multiple couches are available for additional sleeping arrangements.
In total, you can sleep up to 20 people in this home, with various bed options and additional sleeping spaces.

Furthermore, the house features a large and beautiful dock, perfect for swimming, fishing, and boat watching. If you're interested in water activities, there's a toy shed available with water toys, life jackets, and floaties. Note that an additional deposit is required for the use of the toy shed.

Although we do not like fees in order to maintain our units we must make you aware of the following:
We are ONLY dog friendly. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a non-refundable fee of $150 per reservation will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided. Any applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation MANUALLY and charged AFTER booking.
If you do not honor our pet policy (dog only disclosure) you will be fined $300.
Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.
An unapproved late check-out fine is $50.

Great lakehouse

Very nice property. The only complaint I have is the great room windows with broken seals are so bad that you can’t see out of them. I highly recommend you replace them.

Best Ozarks house ever

Had the most amazing time… couldn’t have been a cleaner more put together home we’ve ever stayed in at the Ozarks. Everything was as it said it would be and the house was in the best location. Amazing kitchen and the best rooms!!

Enjoyed the clean kitchen and beds are very comfortable. Loved the sunroom. We were there early spring so outdoor deck, windows and dock hadn’t gotten the spring power wash yet. Thanks for sharing that fantastic water view.

Our party included my husband, my 3 children and their spouses and our 8 grandchildren. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was big enough that we all rooms. We loved the all season room the most, it was where gathered everyday, and being that close to the lake was wonderful. Hope to book with you next year

Really enjoyed the house.

The house fit all of our needs. Plenty of room for the eleven of us for our Thanksgiving week stay. The weather was nice enough we got to hang out on the awesome dock. Only negative thing I have is the windows could use a cleaning 🙃 Other than that I have no other negative comments. Jeffery was a wonderful host . Replied very quickly.

Place was accommodating for family... they need to replace to 2 major windows for they state that "great view" but the windows are "fogged up" and NO view from living room. All door entrances need power washed due to the MAJOR amount of bugs and are very dirty.

Great House and quiet location for off Season

We had a great family vacation for Thanksgiving at the house. The property manager was quick to respond to inquiries, the house was well stocked with the necessitates (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) for the whole trip and the view from the "All Season" room was great. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping space for our family to enjoy! The reason for not giving it 5 Stars was that there were 2 main window panels that were weathered so much that they completely blocked the beautiful view of the lake from the family room, the remaining windows needed to be cleaned in order to thoroughly enjoy the incredible views and the kitchen could have been a little better stocked with kitchenware for the size of the house. This house is set up for larger families but hard to fix meals for the larger party. We didn't get to enjoy the dock as much as we wanted to due to the weather but I can only image how perfect it would be during peak season.

Lake house

We enjoyed the home! We only got to use the dock one night because of the weather, mid October. A couple cold windy days and a couple nice beautiful days. In warmer Temps it would be even nicer. Lots of bugs outside though. The local scenery was great!

Beautiful

Property was just as listed. Very beautiful, great location, quiet neighborhood, wonderful for walking our little dog. We also took our dad who is 86 and it was very handicap accessible for him with a 1st floor bedroom with walk in shower. He was also able to enjoy the entire 1st floor with the sunroom and upper deck outside. The beds are extremely comfortable. Kitchen had everything and was stocked very well. Highly recommend this property and Jeff was a terrific host giving us all the needed information to make our stay more enjoyable.

Great communication with owner

Jeff was a great owner!! I’m not sure when the last maintenance(cleaning) was done but the house had many spiders and bugs, lightbulbs not working, empty electric air fresheners (fire hazard) beeping smoke detector and ice maker broken but still working. Jeff offered to fix most of problems but didn’t need him to visit while we were on vacation. Luckily the exterminator visited while we were there but we had no warning he was coming. The house and dock had everything we needed but first impressions weren’t the greatest!!!

Great Family Tine

The house is roomy, clean and nicely appointed. Best of all is the huge dock on the lake…3 generations had a ball there. We were glad we brought life jackets to fit the younger ones (ages 7 to 13), though the rest of the family was comfortable without. All enjoyed the provided floatable. The kitchen had large pots and pans as well as plenty of dishes and utensils for our family of 16, though our son was glad he brought extra skillets for making crepes for all of us. The owner was quickly responsive when we ran out of dishwasher detergent so I think any real concerns would quickly be remedied if he were asked. We had a super time together and the home facilitated that.

Great Home, Great Boat Dock, Great Views, Great Host!

Before we arrived the host communicated with us very well. When we arrived the home smelled very clean and fresh. My family and I enjoyed the home and the boat dock very much! The host checked on us when we first arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitly a 5 star experience!

Exceeded Expectations

What a great property! Our group couldn't believe how lucky we were to be able to book this fantastic home. We were visiting the Ozarks to spend time out golfing, but found ourselves really looking forward to relaxing out at the private dock every day.

Amazing Views, Amazing Dock and House

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is newly updated, very clean and accommodating for a large group. The views are amazing of Lake Osage(sunrise and sunsets) and the dock is fabulous. My husband had great luck catching lots of catfish. His best fishing trip ever. Jeffery is super quick to respond to any maintenance needs or questions. Highly recommend this house. We loved our entire stay.

The dock is amazing!!

My extended family stayed for 2 nights. The house is lovely. The view is beautiful. The dock is amazing! There were plenty of supplies for a family of 12. The only complaint was the water pressure in the main bathroom upstairs left a little to be desired. Overall, a 5 star stay!

Fabulous Spring Break Vacation

If you are looking for a beautiful house with an amazing dock this is the place for you! This property has everything you need dishes, bath towels and all the little home extras to make you feel relaxed and feel like home. The owner of this property was fantastic!! Told us about great places to eat and checked in with us to make sure everything was going great!! All I can say is thank you for making our 15 years old spring break vacation a blast!!

Beautiful views and home

We were awe struck by the view of the lake. The home was beautiful, enjoyed the deck and sunroom. The home was clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation retreat.
