Starfish is located on the ground floor in the middle of paradise. You are within walking distance to everything you need. It is walk in ready for local beach life living!!! The sand is 400 steps away. It is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Starfish a clean, comfortable, and affordable way to experience the local beach life. Come check us out for the weekend or stay for the week and really relax.

Perfect location

My wife and I had a great experience. It’s centrally located on the island, so it’s just a short walk to a less crowded part of the beach. It’s also close to numerous bars and restaurants. We cook a lot, so it was great to have cooking utensils and cookware. It was a perfect stay and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Weekend Getaway

Convenient and walkable to restaurants and stores. Loved that it was ground level. There's a lot of hustle and bustle during the day but very quiet at night. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot. Clise to beach, pizza, icream and brewery. Host Bonnie was great. Kept in contact throughout visit. Gave recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions on where to eat and visit.

Perfect location

Wonderful communication from host! Bonnie was great from when we booked to when we checked out. Very clean, comfortable bed, and nice shower. Great location to everything! Next time I would leave the car parked and rent a golf cart and or only walk places! It was great to be near everything. Great place for my mom and I for the weekend. Only thing is smoke alarm is sensitive;) toaster set it off but no biggie! Will be back. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great Location, Excellent Experience!

I don’t know how we could have stayed at a better place this week! Aside from driving 30 minutes to church services and 15 minutes to Kroger a few times throughout the week each (not bad), everything was within a good distance from the apartment. The apartment was clean and had GREAT sound insulation (next to a bar, but you wouldn’t know it), and it was well stocked concerning towels and other supplies. Bonnie was a great host! She was attentive and responsive and also very helpful! We’ve dealt with hosts that seemed very impersonal, but that wasn’t the case with Bonnie! One MINOR - emphasis on minor - concern I had that applies to likely just a handful of people was the fact that the kitchen seemed to lack a few supplies that would have been useful. I’m a diabetic, and one of the reasons why my husband and I use Vrbo is because locations with kitchens give me more freedom in what kind of food I eat and how I cook that food throughout our stays in order to maintain the typical diabetic nonsense I have to manage. I think it would be helpful if there was a baking sheet and a few sturdier cooking utensils, but we made due, and it didn’t ruin our stay at all! Other than that, the kitchen had measuring cups and spoons, silverware, pots and pans, bowls and plates, and several handy small kitchen appliances. Pretty well stocked otherwise! Overall, this was an excellent place to stay, and we’d LOVE to be able to stay again sometime in the future. Don’t miss out on this place!

Lovely stay on the island!!

We had never been to Tybee before but wanted to do a weekend getaway. After this past weekend, we will definitely be coming back! This room was perfect for the 2 of us, very clean, in walking distance to lots of shops and the beach. Bonnie was a fantastic host and our check process was super smooth! 10/10 on her communication, with this being our first time in Tybee, she was able to tell us ahead of time everything that was in walking distance, left notes on how to walk to the closest beach entrance and restaurant menus! Truly loved staying here and can’t wait for our next trip. Thanks for having us Bonnie! :)

This was the perfect location for our weekend getaway. Clean, cozy and well stocked. The beach was a short walk. Bonnie is AMAZING! She kept us up to date on events going on while we were there. Will return!

Great weekend getaway

My wife and I took a quick weekend getaway here at the Sunshine! Bonnie our host was awesome! Everything was as advertised and the location was close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. This was my wife’s first trip to Tybee and the beach was fantastic! Short 5 min. walk and not crowded at all! The ice cream shop across the street was a great way to cool off after a relaxing day in the water! We enjoyed our time and will definitely look to book again.

A perfect 1-2 person stay

Bonnie’s location was clean and just as the description said. I had a little trouble with the app and I was able to get in touch with her quickly to be able to still check in. It’s a perfect little place for 1-2 people and I was able to walk/bike anywhere I wanted to go on the island.

This is a nice efficient place for 2 people.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to be able to walk to some of the restaurants, stores and beach. The Starfish was very clean and neat. Bonnie the host was so nice and quickly answered any questions that I had. I would highly recommend this.

Bonnie was a great host - she kept in touch, getting all the info to us in a timely manner and was very accommodating! The studio was perfect for two people. Had everything we needed. Beach access was very convenient. Gas station across the street and nearby restaurants. Having a parking spot was great. We pretty much left the car parked as the island is very walkable. Starfish worked perfect for our needs.
