Beautiful view

I loved the view! House was super cute and decorated well. Helpful tip: Screen shot the WiFi password before you drive up the mountain down to Shelter Cove because I lost cell service on the drive and got there and couldn’t get on WiFi or use my phone since I didn’t screen shot the WiFi code before hand. Luckily I had screen shot the code to the door. Other than that I loved the stay, watching the seals and going to the beaches. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever out that way again. (I did pick up a cell bar by chance later that night and was able to get the password, other than that I was about to make the 45 minute drive back to cell service to get the password)

Looking forward to being back

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The view from the rear deck is wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor couch featured in the photos was not usable since cushions were nowhere to be found. And the deck chairs are pretty rickety. The grill could use some attention. Overall, a great place.

Awesome Deck

We have stayed at this rental a few times and will likely come again. The deck is deck is amazing! We could spend the whole trip out there watching the ocean and the planes flying in and out. Sofa is a little small and very low to the ground. Maybe not idea for more than 2 people or travelers with weak knees.Coffee shops, brewery, golf course and airstrip 'in town' are easily walkable, but the return trip is uphill.

Amazing covered deck!

We loved our time in Shelter Cove & this house was the perfect home base! The house was clean. The HVAC kept the house comfortable on a few unusually hot days. Check-in and check-out were easy. And the cover deck was AMAZING with views of the coast & the airstrip. No baking pan or cookie sheet in the kitchen (we worked around it) and the sofa is very low (we were fine, but had my parents come along they would not have been able to get up and down). Hope to return!

Another great stay at this Shelter Cove home

This is a great home. Great view & location, modern and comfortable, easy accessibility (no stairs!). Unfortunately for me, I had to remote work for part of the trip but the availability of a computer monitor and good wi-fi helped significantly. A few amenity improvements were suggested to the owner. If you are a culinary afficionado, BYO tools, seasonings & storage, though plenty of extra appliances provided (air fryer, tea kettle, toaster, Keurig). BBQ - proceed with caution.

Nice little spot

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was very nice. There were a few kinks that needed working out, but the manager was easy to reach and was very prompt in setting them right. If you plan on doing much cooking I would bring a good pot and pan as the cook wear was all non stick which I’m not a fan of. It was nice that they had beach towels and sand toys if you wanted to head to the ocean. Overall this is a very nice little spot up on the hill. Not super private if that is important to your stay. My only real complaint was the very strong laundry detergent... If you are sensitive to strong smells, bring your own pillowcase:)

Beautiful New Listing

The house is beautiful. Worked well as a retreat for the wives and kids while the guys camped at the campground and fished. Great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Amazing views. Could use more storage and a few more things in the kitchen but we made it work.
