The Beach House with Beautiful Ocean Views!

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful newly remodeled three bedroom two story modern home. Beautiful ocean views shine from practically every window in the house. Just a short walk or drive down the hill brings you to Shelter Cove beach, the campground deli and store, the airport, nine holes of golf, Gyppo Ale Mill and Point Delgada. Or just stay at the house, relax and BBQ to the sounds of the buoys off shore and the sea lions calling from the point. The Beach House is a great place to be...

Upstairs is a beautiful open space with a vaulted pine ceiling covering the great room with adjoining kitchen. The kitchen is complete with all new appliances and everything you'll need to cook your meals. While the great room has a new queen sleeper couch and love seat, a 55" smart TV, Starlink high speed internet and a dining table with six chairs.
Downstairs there are three completely remodeled bedrooms and a a large master bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a dedicated work space and a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed. Both rooms have pleasant ocean views and black out shades. Bedroom #3 is smaller and has a bunk bed with two twin beds. There is also a large laundry and storage room with new laundry machines (washer and dryer) for you to use.

Shelter Cove is a very small and isolated community. There is a small general store and a campground store available for snacks, treats, beer and wine, souvenirs, and some things you may have forgotten for your stay. In addition, there are currently four options for dining out. The nearest pharmacy or large grocery store are nearly thirty miles away in Redway and Garberville. Please plan accordingly to maximize the enjoyability of your stay.

Beautiful views and well appointed home.

Our stay at the beach house was wonderful. We went fishing for two days with a local charter and KEITH was extremely helpful with his local knowledge. We will definitely be coming back to the beach house.

Great vacation-

We had a wonderful anniversary trip and this place made it special- welcoming - clean - and all you could need! A special card and bottle of wine as we entered - equipped with games - beach stuff and all the amenities needed for a beautiful stay! We can already booked for next year - the cherry on top - the amazing view !

Perfect Coastal Retreat

Stayed at this wonder vacation rental for 6 nights. Very comfortable with excellent views and easy walk down the hill to the beaches of Shelter Cove. Owners went above and beyond to make us welcomed and to help make is a special vacation for us!

Beautiful property in Shelter Cove

Getting here was a challenge, but the area and property was worth the trip! Plenty of extras for anyone who forgot something. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just as the listing indicated. The owners really make efforts to ensure the stay is comfortable and special. Would recommend this rental to anyone in the area!

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting

My group of 5 only stayed one night as we were in the middle of a motorcycle tour of Northern California. We were so happy when we arrived to a have such a nice spot to hang out. Plenty of space and everything was really clean. We were able to walk to the brewery as well as the Surf point coffee house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect getaway

The house was beautifully organized and clean. Located in beautiful and quiet shelter cove my group of 5 friends had a wonderful stay. One of the best homes I’ve been to. I would definitely recommend for anyone including families with small children as they have accommodations for that too. Including dining ware, toys and safety features.

The Beach House was everything we’d hoped for, and much more. Beautifully remodeled, stunning ocean views (close enough to hear the surf and the seals), well equipped in every way imaginable, comfortable beds, books and games, spacious. We can’t say enough good about this place. It has 3 bedrooms plus a hide-a-bed, so it could sleep 8. Because of car troubles, we missed our first 24 hours there, and Keith kindly offered to let us stay an extra day on the latter end of our time. Keith was great with communication, as well.We have stayed in many vacation rentals, but none with such a well equipped kitchen. I fell during our time there and got pretty scraped up, but everything I needed to clean and bandage my scrapes was in the first aid kit. It seemed to us that Keith and Kazumi have thought of everything. If we’re in Shelter Cove again, I hope the Beach House is available. We’d love to stay there again. Thank you, Keith and Kazumi!

Beautiful Home & Views

Beautifully remodeled home with high end details and every appliance, toiletry, and comfort of care you could ask for. The ceiling is stunning as well as the view of the water and trees. Everything is labeled for easy access and ease of use. A welcome basket filled with goodies, a binder of how-to and activity ideas meet you at the door. Keith has great communication, accommodating and helpful. We loved our stay!!

The host thought of everything

The house is lovely and included everything we needed. We stopped in town to buy laundry supplies but they were already included as well as a cupboard full of spices, coffee, tea, even a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. All the cupboards and drawers were nicely labeled. The beds were comfortable. My sister and I liked watching the planes take off from the little airport down the hill. I'm a senior but I was able to walk to the beach. All in all, a great experience!

Truly Exceptional

This home was truly exceptional. Pristinely clean, organized and well-appointed, and beautiful. You can really feel the great care that the owners put into designing the space, and preparing it for guests. We could not get over how thoughtful this place was; they thought of everything a guest could need! The kitchen was extremely well equipped, (the knives were actually sharp, which I've never experienced in a vacation rental!) The beds were very comfortable with very nice quality linens and pillows. The views of the ocean and town below were stunning. We have stayed in countless VRBO properties over the past 20 years, and have never found a place so well cared for. I never want to stay anywhere else again in Shelter Cove!

Wonderful Property

This property was full of amenities. They had spare toiletries, cooking oils and spices, sunglasses, beach chairs, extra blankets, towels. There were 5 of us -- 2 couples and an elderly mother. Our elderly mother was not as mobile as we expected her to be, so she stayed upstairs and slept on the couch. I was glad there was a bathroom upstairs. We loved the windows and view of the ocean. One minor item is that my mother felt that a grippy shower mat might be helpful for an unstable elderly person for the future. Cell service doesn't work locally, but the in-house wifi was great and very reliable. I would highly recommend this property.
