Additionally, due to an elevator replacement project, only one elevator will be available until the estimated completion timeframe of March 2026.**

Great location

Overall the stay was great! Location was great close to all eating places. The only problem I had was the floor was sticky in the rental. I had to mop it and the balcony as soon as we got into the unit.

Great place and a great location near everything. The pool was fantastic and a close walk to the beach. No front desk to ask questions but got use to that. no big deal. Only bad thing to say is that the tub was backing up. Place was pretty clean. I'd come back for sure.

The are is walking distance to a lot of places. Pretty convenient!! The beach view was amazing. We started out with a little problem with the codes but figured it out. We were short on toilet paper and wished we had Kleenex’s - minor things.

Beach was wonderful

The condo was not clean, there was sand and hair everywhere. I hated not having someone on site to talk to. I hated putting in the code to get anywhere. Now the beach was wonderful and I loved being on the first floor where it was easy to get to the beach. I loved being able to walk to lots of restaurants and the store.

Great location with beautiful views!

Nice unit! Well stocked with kitchen items, nicely furnished. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that one of the showers didn’t work, the fitted sheets kept coming off of the corners of the mattress and the 9am checkout is a bit early. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Pools and hot tub were great! Access to building and room very simple. Would definitely stay again! Would love to see a linen upgrade but otherwise a beautiful place and we had a great time! Thank you!

Emerald Isle is low key and quiet. It's close to everything but not crazy busy and packed. Check in was smooth and we loved the condo was on the first floor. Problems with the condo: the balcony looked like it had not been cleaned; the master bedroom door is a pocket door and we couldn't get it to close; the floor in front of the bedroom by the main entrance was bowed up and broken; the Internet didn't work the first day. We had to reset the router ourselves. Overall the stay was fine because we don't spend much time in the room anyway, but this place could definitely use some upgrades and repairs.

The POSITIVES….Location was GREAT, within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, coffee and gift shops or through the neighborhoods. Condo is directly above the pools, hot tub and looks out through the trees and dunes to the blue gulf waters!!! The view is amazing but you are not high enough to see the beach. The NEGATIVES….the condo is nice enough but feels unloved, basic, run by a service rather than an owner. Read the rental instructions “we recommend you bring the following” carefully. You will not find even salt/pepper in the kitchen cabinets. And you will not have any extras such as beach towels, umbrella, insulated bag/cooler, local info, etc. We did find 2 mismatched well worn beach chairs in a closet. The wicker dressers in the bedrooms were either old, dirty or distressed as paint was off and smelled musty. The sectional in the living room had enough lumps that felt like sitting on golf balls in spots. And the floor tiles in front of the first bedroom have still not been repaired per a review from April ‘24 almost a year ago. Overall, however, we would stay here again.

Great location

The location was great if you want to be able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The beach is beautiful and everyone we came in contact with was kind. The condo itself hasn't been updated and it had obvious wear and tear. The pictures still were accurate. The problem for the lower review is due to getting locked out of our condo as we were checking in due to faulty lock. To make a long story short, the staff on the phone was originally blaming the signal getting to the lock since it is run by computer. We could get in but then when we left, we got locked out. The deadbolt itself had been damaged before we got there and no one knew. The key they left us didn't work and when they thought they resolve the problem we left without our car keys and then we couldn't get back into our condo for a couple hours.

Could be better!!

Please refer to the notes and pictures below. Emerald Isles Pensacola Beach Condo 106 The following issues were encountered during our stay: No instructions on how to use the access codes. Had to rely on people coming in and out . Called Southern and received email several hours later with incorrect/incomplete instructions on access Unable to gain access to beach first nite because we were concerned that we could not reenter Upon entering condo found unfinished renovations: -No baseboards in several areas -Paint on floors. Sloppy paint job -Floor in bedroom not sealed -Front door of condo damaged and not repaired or replaced -Rusted table on balcony -Return air vent to a/c full of dust This unit was obviously in process of being renovated and should not have been rented. Please refer to the pictures attached and provide reimbursement offer. Ps: Great coffee pot!!

fall weekend away

We love PB and this condo was perfect for us. Clean and nicely equipped condo for a price lower than many in the building. Maybe lower because it is first floor (we liked being able to use the stairs quickly, but there is noise from the pool area right below). Only real downside is the check in check out time. They emailed us to let us know that they would contact us to let us know if we could get in early. I responded saying we would love that as we were driving through the night to get there and would be exhausted on arrival. 4:00 check in - no call as we sat on the public beach for a couple hours hoping for a call. We came to the building 20 min early, cleaning crew was long gone, but still no call and our code to get in didn't work until exactly 4 o'clock. Check out time was 9. This is earlier than I have ever seen. We wanted to do a couple morning activities and not rush out, so we paid $60 extra for a noon check out. Problem = we left the condo and returned after 9. the door code time was not adjusted, and we were locked out. Luckily, I brought my phone on our bike ride (I usually do not) and I was able to find their number and call (well my wife called because I was too furious to talk to them). They got the door open quickly for us, but to pay $60 extra for a normal check out time then to still get locked out...arg! So, a mixture of good and bad with this experience.

Lovely location but building has a few issues

The apartment was great with a beautiful Gulf view. It was clean and in nice condition. Our only issue was that the Emerald Isle pool area is missing its furniture and the entrance to the building from the pool is boarded up—possibly from storm damage. The fitness center is also closed which makes the lobby look dark and uninviting.
