Idyllic Island Home

Our stay at The King House in St. Croix was nothing short of exceptional. The house was absolutely perfect for our group, easily accommodating two families with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Each bedroom felt like its own private suite, beautifully decorated and offering a luxurious sense of privacy.The outdoor space was a highlight for both the kids and adults. The private pool was a favorite hangout spot, and the short walk to the beach made it incredibly easy to pop over for swimming, snorkeling, and playing in the sand. The snorkeling right off the beach was stunning — crystal clear water, vibrant fish, and an unforgettable underwater experience.Katherine made the check-in process seamless. She was warm, welcoming, and had the house stocked with everything we needed to get started, including some thoughtful snacks and drinks. The kitchen was fully equipped with the basics for cooking, which made it easy to prepare meals at home when we wanted a quiet evening in.The location of The King House could not have been better. We felt completely safe the entire time, thanks in part to the gated community and the friendly guards who always greeted us with a smile.Overall, the house is truly stunning — from the beautifully designed interior spaces to the incredible outdoor amenities. It made our trip to St. Croix unforgettable, and we would highly recommend The King House to anyone looking for a luxurious, family-friendly stay on the island.

Great Stay at the King House

There were three couples that spent a week here in February. House lived up to its expectations. The highlights for our group were the well stocked, large kitchen with amazing views, the pool area and the beach that was a short walk away. We also enjoyed the small courtyard to enjoy some quiet time. Katherine was very responsive and the welcome book is very helpful! We would definitely consider another stay at this beautiful home!

Perfect Island escape

King House is a perfect piece of island life. Katherine is the best host. She is there when you need her and allows you to relax and enjoy. The house allows for the perfect outdoor/indoor blend of shared space with a lovely pool and access to the neighborhood beach. Would recommend without reservation and we hope to return

Totally Amazing

This was our first trip to St. Croix. This home is exactly as advertised. The pictures are accurate and the view from the back is completely awesome with a short walk across the green space to a nearly private beach. The neighborhood is exceptional and safe. This place just felt like home the minute we walked into the property. All of the rooms are roomy and the King's Suite was awesome. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking at home along with some necessary spices. There is a supply of beach/pool toys, yard games, plenty of beach towels, sun screen and bug spray. Katherine and Richard (the care taker) were great and took care of any of our needs. The house is convenient or getting anywhere on the island and is 10 minutes from Christiansted for dinning and shopping. We enjoyed the deer grazing in the backyard (especially under the Banyan Tree behind the King's Suite) every night we were there. When we return to St. Croix, we hope to be able to return to King's House. We loved every bit of the property and may never leave the property on our next visit since we did all the touristy things this trip. It has everything you need and can accommodate a large group.

Beautiful Beach Estate

Bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen is large and outside seating and pool relaxing.Great location for shopping and site seeing. The beach is almost private and beautiful sand. Would highly recommend. Great views.

Exceptional!

Our first visit to STX, the island is beautiful, the mountains and blue waters. The house was perfect, we did not want to venture out as we were stunned by the awesome view and amenities. Highly recommend, the layout of the house and open areas allowed all of us to gather yet have personal space as needed..Thank you Katherine!

Birthday gathering

Family from all over the states gathered to celebrate our mother’s 80 th birthday. We got lucky with the weather and this house accommodated ten people easily. We never felt crowded, the private beach was gorgeous, and the location was perfect for quick access to Christiansted and Green Cay Marina for sunset sails. Management was responsive within minutes of any query, and when the ice maker was slow to start, Katherine delivered bags of ice before we could even uncork the rum. We had caterers come in and they loved the kitchen and the layout for serving/dining options. It was fabulous and we will return soon

Exceeded My Expectations

As you arrive at the Villa, the sound of waves crashing against the shore of the Caribbean Sea fills you with excitement. Stepping out of the car and walking towards the Villa's entrance, you can't help but feel all your worries melt away as you're captivated by what is arguably the best view on the entire island. Each room in the Villa has its own unique character, but our favorite was the sitting room with a big bay window that allows the perfect amount of sunlight to shine through, providing a much-needed break from the Caribbean heat. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from tableware, cookware, and flatware to towels, bug spray, sunscreen, games, and pool toys. Our host, Katherine, was extremely kind, responsive, and accommodating to all of our requests and needs

Shoys Villa '23

This villa was amazing from the spacious rooms to the Caribbean Ocean view! There were a couple of 'hiccups' with the villa, but Katharine was very responsive and had all problems resolved as soon as she could. St. Croix was a beautiful island retreat for our family and #8 Shoys was a huge part of the amazing retreat we experienced.

From the management experience to the property itself, every portion of our trip was glorious. Even better than expected

Based on the reviews I read, I was hoping this would be a great experience. It was even better than we had hoped. Just like everyone had said Katherine was a great communicator and helped us with places to go and things to do. The snorkeling tour to Buck Island is a must if you enjoy seeing beautiful coral and fish. The house was very comfortable and the family enjoyed it all around. The pool was fun and we enjoyed walking to the beach with hardly anyone around. Snorkeling was good from the beach too. The house itself was as advertised. Everything was clean and comfortable for everyone. It was hot and the air conditioner worked well. The kitchen was equipped with all you would need and worked fine. I can’t find anything that would be a negative! I hope we can come back soon. You should not be disappointed if you book this place.

Amazing location and home!

Breathtaking from the very beginning! Every single detail was seen to, and our host was in contact with us the entire time to make sure we had all that we needed. We felt so well taken care of! This location is phenomenal, forgetting to all the places we needed to go. The accommodations were spot on, luxurious linens, and comfortable beds made for an amazing vacation!

Fabulous Stay!

We had a great time here. The house is wonderful-with really well appointed ensuites and many lovely places to hang out outside-with a great view and a fun pool to cool off in. The kitchen was well outfitted-and the location is great. And you are connected to a lovely beach as well. n And Katherine-the house manager-was terrific-responsive and very available-and left us a lovely welcominng basket with lots of lovely things- which made us feel right at home. Our group felt like we were 'the rich and the famous' for a week at this house-and we think you'll feel the same. We would definitely rent this house and property again.

Vacation Perfection

King House was a perfect setting for a perfect vacation. Our group of 7 enjoyed this open floor plan while each having our own suite to retreat to at the end of the day. We would stay again

We go on a yearly trip with our kids and grandkids to someplace warm. This house was perfect for us. Beautiful house and landscaping, pretty pool surrounded by deck with lots of outdoor furniture, and adjacent sandy beach with very few people. Security for the neighborhood made us feel safe. This house was well outfitted with lots of beach chairs, mats and toys. The kitchen was better stocked with cooking supplies and equipment than any other VRBO we have rented. Katherine the manager was very helpful. It was a great week!

Beautiful escape!

This property is exactly what I had hoped it would be. Each bedroom offers plenty of privacy when necessary and the kitchen and outdoor sitting areas were perfect for enjoying family time spent either around the pool or eating meals together. The beach (Shoys)was amazing for our daily walks to go swimming as a group and relax in the sand. We had several days that we just stayed at the house since it was so beautiful. Katherine was excellent and made sure everything went completely smooth. I highly recommend this house you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful place !

King House is ideal for a family vacation. The location is perfect, up a quiet road near the Buccaneer Resort. The view is spectacular, a large lawn that leads out to the beach and ocean. Just lovely. Beautiful view of sunsets and sunrise every day. The rooms are clean. Kitchen is great. We cooked almost every meal and it was ideal. Outdoor grill is new- we used it quite a bit. Lovely dining room although we ate outside most of the time. Katharine, the house manager is very available. We had a few questions and she came right over and was in contact the whole time. Highly recommend this property !

Exceptional Accommodations, Excellent Value

King House is in a superior location - next to the best resort on the island, gated community, outstanding plot of land with gorgeous lawn, magnificent stretch of beach, memorable views. The house was so nice! We were 3 couples, college friends reconnecting, and the accommodations were perfect. Nicely laid-out bedrooms, excellent living space with a great outdoor kitchen, cool family room for movie night, and many separate seating areas to mix up meal and lounge time.

Daughter's Wedding

We rented this home based on it's location and layout for our daughters wedding, it was phenomenal, actually even better than the photos represent. The kitchen was large with newer appliances allowing us to comfortably cook and gather, the outside kitchen and grill worked out well. The living spaces (patios, dining rooms, living room) were excellent and allowed us to separate or gather. The bedrooms were split into two wings allowing separation. Katherine was a joy to work with. Can't say enough about the location an dthe property.
