It's time for an adventure at our vacation rental, Cabell Cottage. With Lake Cumberland 5 minutes away via Cabell Landing/Sunset Landing, and Beaver Dock less than 10 minutes by boat, the cottage can be your base for all things fun at the lake. However, if its a retreat you seek, the cottage is also for you as it sits in a quiet, very pretty, rural area of Wayne County. Kentucky, where 5 people sleep easily.

The cottage is adorable. It is clean and well kept. It has everything you need. We only stayed two nights but it perfect for a longer stay. We enjoyed our stay completely.

Cozy indeed

This was the cutest little cottage! We stayed with my mom and baby while the boys camped on the lake, and it was the perfect little home base for meals and sleeping! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for what we needed

This was a clean, comfortable, quiet cottage that was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Wonderful host; we would happily stay reserve this cottage again if we are ever in the area.

Vacation stay

We had a great time, loved the area! The only issue we had was the Tv in living room would not connect to WiFi, so we just used the dvd player for my autistic son instead! I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cottage

We came into town for a lake day and a family reunion, only got to spend 1 night at this beautiful cottage. Perfect size, and had everything you would need. Country setting, away from any hustle bustle. Loved it!

The host needs to communicate that there is no cellular service at the property. Renter needs to know the door code before driving to the property. We drove not knowing this and could not enter the property. Had to drive 30 min back towards town before cells worked again. We actually decided to get a hotel after arguing with owner, who still doesn't understand what she did wrong.

Perfect Cottage

It’s a very clean and well cared for cottage on rural country road in southern Kentucky. My wife and I stayed here two nights with our two children. The kids slept on the pullout sofa bed in the living room. This is the perfect place for a small family, or a small group of friends. It can sleep up to five people. Kathie was great, very helpful and great communication.

Cutest Little Cottage!!

Needed a place to stay while in Monticello visiting my daughter, this place was the cutest, cleanest totally equipped with EVERYTHING one would need. My youngest daughter and I played board games and rested wonderfully. I will absolutely visit again when I return. I just hope this little gem will be available. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was, Thank you!

Great week at the lake

This is our third stay at this place so yes we like it here. Clean and we appreciated the supplies in the kitchen. We rented a transient boat slip at Rowena Marina and left our boat there. It’s about a 30 min drive from the cottage so that was convenient. Sunset landing is closer if you have a pontoon or fishing boat. Owner is very good with communication. There is some good hiking within a one hour drive too.

Country life

This cottage is beautiful inside and plenty of room for a Med size family a complete kitchen bath, washer and dryer. Everything looks brand new in the backyard. There’s a fire pit. It was nice to get around and there’s a Grill TV and grill outside beautiful little getaway.

Awesome property for a long weekend
