This property was furnish as stated in the description. My family and I stayed here for 4 days. It’s convenient to nearby beaches and restaurants. Fort Christiansted is also nearby with a few family activities. The home is in need a deep cleaning. There’s dust encompassing the walls and floors. My sons white socks was black from the dirt on the floor throughout the house. The bedding/spread needed to be laundered as it smelled like it was stored away for sometime. The extra blankets needed to be washed as it collected dust from being stored. The showers in both bathroom were not cleaned, the tub had a dirt ring and tiles had soap scum and dirt. The shower stall, the same. The counter tops were also messy with left over crumbs and spilt sauces. The microwave was equally stained with old food. The dishes and pots were also not cleaned well. The pots needed scrubbing. I spent my first day (until 2am) deep cleaning so my family can feel comfortable. The owner should invest in professional cleaning, especially after a renter checks out. Surface cleaning is only sufficient after deep cleaning. The stove takes awhile to cook because of where the A/C is placed and the dryer heats ups the living room/dining room - the A/C is outdated and can’t manage the heat. The blender has mold in it and couldn’t be washed. This would be a great stay if the above issues are rectified. This property needs more love put into it.
