The perfect place for our large family gathering! Plenty of beds/baths, dishes, pots & pans, and everything we needed. House is well-kept and comfortable. We used the deck as much as the inside spaces. And beach area was a welcome retreat from the family chatter.

We had a wonderful annual family holiday in Omena. The home, location, and space was perfect! Ample supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very responsive with any questions as well.

We love the quiet location with an amazing view of the water- only one block from the house. Over the past few years there have been upgrades. An additional bedroom and bath on the second floor. And on the main floor we had a beautiful near kitchen which now opens up to the dining and sun porch area. We love the house. This was our 7th or 8th visit for our sorority sisters

Can't wait to plan another trip here! We have the best time and the location / home couldn't be better. It is incredibly well stocked and SO MUCH ROOM for everyone to have their own space. Couldn't recommend Omena House more!

We had an amazing weekend here with 16 ladies! The home was perfect for a large group. Beautifully maintained with super comfortable beds and plenty of entertainment space both inside and out. We especially loved gathering around the gorgeous fire pit in the evenings. The area is great for rock hunting too, which was such a fun bonus! Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

The Omena house is truly a gem. It is an enormous, beautiful property with so much for guests to enjoy. We stayed there as a group of 20 women in May of 2026, and loved having a space on the peninsula to be our home base while visit wineries, biking the trail, and visiting TC. There was ample room for our large group to spread out and enjoy the home. The only issue was that there was still construction going on due to the downstairs renovations that were a bit more extensive than we were told in advance. However, Dale and the property owners worked hard to make it right for us. Rink, the property manager, was responsive and helpful during our stay. I’m sure the property will be even better when the renovations are complete, and we would absolutely stay there again!

The perfect rental for a group of friends!

We rented Omena House for our wedding weekend and it was the perfect location for our wedding party to stay. They had the best time, and weeks later, are still talking about how much they loved their stay. Great location and the property owner was very easy to work with.

Bachelorette Weekend

There were 11 of us that stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone. We loved the enclosed porch most of all!

Wedding Stay

My wife and I had our wedding in Suttons Bay and rented this house to have the wedding party and a couple other guests stay at. It slept 22 of us comfortably and was much nicer than renting a block of hotel rooms. Highly recommend.

16 Soronian Society sisters from Olivet College have stayed at your house for 8 years. We are between 76 and 82 - from Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan, New Jersey and Virginia. We love being together. The Omena House is the perfect location. Very homey.

Perfect for a group!

We had a women’s wine weekend and needed a place with enough beds for everyone. This house fit the bill. The house was exactly as pictured and everyone couldn’t stop saying how perfect the house was. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again!

18 member extended family reunion

Omena House was everything we hoped it would be. Our 18 member extended family included 4 individual family groups and ranged from 8 years old to 77 years old. We had family from as far away as Switzerland, S. Carolina, Virginia, and Illinois. Omena House was roomy enough for everyone to have both wonderful group times as well as comfortable quiet space when needed.

Reunion

The property is perfect for a large family gathering. Lots of room inside and out. Very nice and clean. Extremely well stocked. The fire pit was a bonus. You just need to bring a bathing suit and a few cloths. Our family loved it and wants to go back.

Sorority Sisters Retreat

We are sorority sisters from Olivet College - ages 75-81, who just enjoyed our 6th time in our home-away-from-home in the Omena House. We love the location, the comfort of the home and that there are so many rooms and bathrooms. We have tried other locations and always return to Omena - because we love it there. Thank you for the great house.

Omena paradise

My family and I stayed at the beautiful Omena House. The large and spacious home was well appointed and cared for. The unique layout of the home allows for large gathers as well and smaller intimate “nook” moments. You”ll see what I mean. The location is wonderful and close to all the amazing things that make the area of the country so special. I cannot recommend this home enough. 10 out of 10!

Family wedding weekend

The house was perfect, clean and plenty of room. Easy walk to the water with chairs waiting to enjoy the view. Communication with Elizabeth and Rink was great. The visit was really nice. The whole family couldn’t have been happier! Thanks.

Sorority Sisters' Favorite Vacation Home

This was our second time at the Omena House for a gathering of Soronian Sorority sisters from Olivet College. We have been friends for over 50 years and have found the house and location to be ideal. The house is comfortable, clean and perfect for 14 of us. We will be booking for next year, too. Thank you.

Summer fun

The house was perfect for our family. We were a group of 14. We had a wonderful time. the house is absolutely lovely. Other than lack of air conditioning, it was perfect. There are lots of fans to help keep things cool enough.

Beautiful home and perfect location

Once again, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It did get a bit warm at night during our stay with no air conditioning, but the fans helped. Despite everyone’s best efforts, there was a pretty bad fruit fly infestation. We still enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.
