Since we are situated about halfway between Toledo and Sandusky, Ohio, we are about 1/2 hour from Cedar Point Amusement Park and minutes from the Ottawa County Wildlife Preserve (MageeMarsh) and Port Clinton where you can catch a boat ride to Put-in-Bay, Kelly's Island and several other scenic islands of Lake Erie. If you're into fishing, you know that this is 'The walleye capital of the world', with plenty of perch fishing as well, just a few miles from our lake access marina.

I liked the place very much. To my surprise it had more beds though I stayed on my own this time it can definitely sleep a family. Each day was filled with the sounds of birds and gentle breezes that made it an even more pleasant stay.

Summer Stay

I had an unexpected window open and booked the site last minute. Everything was just as portrayed on the site and I had a great stay. I would recommend the property to friends and family and would book it again without fail.

Everyone was so nice. The resort was quiet we could see firewroks all over. Condo was very clean and well kept. Did have an odd smell upon arrival but it went away once air conditioners were turned on

Fun getaway fishing. The weather didn't like us..lol.

Enjoyed our time. The weather could had been better but you never can plan that. The TV was challenging to figure out. But we enjoyed the place!!

Just right

Condo was clean, well appointed. Keys in a lockbox on the door. Lots of towels were provided. Beds were comfortable. Large heated pool only about 50 yards away, pool pass provided. Air conditioners worked very well, big washer/dryer combo in the unit. Great communication with owner, very fast responses to all inquiries. Would stay here again!

Nice little place

Nice and clean location. A bit small for our family of 6 but we made it work. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Includes a floating dock for the boat however there is no access to a power plugin. Neighbors are nice. Very quiet resort. The pool is refreshing.

Clean and pet friendly

This place was clean! Pool towels and bath towels were provided. We enjoyed the pool. It's huge and there are community toys and floats to share. All neighbors were very nice. Things to note... There is a lady that lives above this unit that is a very heavy walker and likes to get up between 630a and 730a. I'm very sensitive to smoke. I believe the last person who stayed was chain smoking in the back yard, with the screen porch opened and the window ac units running. There were tons of butts in the grass that the mower ran over. The entire condo had a cigarette smoke smell, also absorbed into the towels, shower curtain, rug, etc. It would help to put no smoking signs in the screened in porch area and the back yard area. I think this wouldn't be a problem if they smoked out front by where you park. The condo had a candle and wall plug ins to help with the smell but it still made everything we brought in with us smell faintly like smoke.

Come and enjoy our cozy condo for a great family vacation or fishing experience. Our unit is on the water and overlooks the harbor from the 3-season sun-room. Besides being right on the fabulous walleye, perch, and smallmouth fishing Lake Erie has to offer (with plenty of charter captains located right here in Wild Wings Marina) various kinds of other attractions are all within a 25 mile radius or a 45 minute scenic ride between Sandusky and Toledo. In Sandusky, there's the Cedar Point Amusement Park and the Kalanari indoor water park. In Toledo, you'll find the Toledo Zoo and Hollywood Casino. In between all this, you have Crane Creek State Park, Ottawa National Wildlife refuge (Magee marsh), Camp Perry Firing Range, and other family attractions. Port Clinton is a short 15-minute ride where you can enjoy its fine dining, beaches and parks, or hop onto the Jet Express to visit Put-in-Bay island.
