The Travelers Cottage is perfect for a stay in Travelers Rest. The cottage is located in downtown, close to restaurants, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a park and shopping. It features two bedrooms with two bathrooms, perfect for a family or friends enjoying a getaway. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. After a day enjoying the trail, you can sit on the back patio with your favorite beverage. Located closed to Furman University and North Greenville University, this house is perfect for a visit to a student or to see a game or other event.

TRavelers Cottage features a mix of vintage and modern decor to make a cozy space for you and your guests. Enter into the open floor plan living room and kitchen. Spend time watching TV, playing games, doing puzzles, listening to records in the living area. Enjoy snacks and meals at the unique bar made of old piano parts. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a meal. The cottage has two bedrooms, on either side of the living area, which provides for privacy for guests.

We had a wonderful stay! The décor throughout the home is absolutely fantastic—beautifully done and thoughtfully styled, making the whole space feel welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everything was spotless, and the home felt exceptionally clean and well cared for. It had such a comfortable, homey feeling that it was easy to relax and settle in. I’m originally from Greenville and was back in town for a close family member’s memorial service, so having a peaceful, comfortable place to stay meant a great deal. The location was also incredibly convenient, close to everything we needed yet still quiet and restful. We truly enjoyed our visit and would happily stay here again.

Such creativity went into building this “vintage” cottage! We marveled at it and got the biggest kick out of playing records on the turntable. It was impeccably clean well stocked. We felt safe, and it was close enough to walk to downtown, although no sidewalks on the road where the cottage is located. We would definitely stay there again!

Christie was very helpful with information on things to do and places to eat.Cabin was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beds were very nice. We like the TR area and having a great place to stay made our 3 days better.

The host was very nice and communicated promptly. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with expected appliances, supplies, and linens. Very charming and overall a very comfortable place to stay. Just close enough in the city to be very conveniently located to things, but felt secluded on a nice quiet street.

Adorable home with such attention to unique detail. Loved the antique decor and creativity. So many special touches. Very clean. We brought our bikes and appreciated how close we were to the SRT. We enjoyed local dining that the owner recommended. The only thing that we agreed could be improved on is the comfort of a couple of the stools around the kitchen island. Of course we were wanting to sit for a bit of an extended time as we were playing cards. Thanks for hosting us!

This was an immaculate home with very creative and cool details. Convenient to Travelers Rest shops and restaurants, Furman University and Greenville. If you are picky about mattresses...just know these beds are very firm. Not a complaint...just a fact.

Great place!

This is one of the best houses I have stayed in. Clean and well appointed. There wasn't anything I needed as far as cleaning supplies, towels, or blankets. Great place for one or two couples.

Great Layout

This little cottage has very efficient appointments and layout. All rooms are on one level. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, located on opposite sides of the house, each with it’s own tv. In the center of the house is the living area and kitchen. The kitchen cabinets, drawers, countertops, etc are super clean and organized. All the appliances are clean (even the Keurig coffee maker), and they all work. Bonus: All window shades work, too. Floors are all wood, shiny and clean. Quiet neighborhood, close to town. Absolutely no complaints about this cute little cabin. Enjoy your stay!

Great location for mountains & town

Our family stayed for spring break & thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. It’s clean, comfortable, well-appointed, decorated nicely & in a great location. Pumpkintiwn & Hagood weee close by as is tge Swamo Rabbit Trail into Greenville. The local restaurants are very friendly & most are in walking distance. The whole family loved it!

Cutest little cottage

What a great place to stay and so clean! We really enjoyed our time at the cottage, and visiting all of the surrounding areas too. The cottage is very warm and welcoming! Can't wait to go back!

Hidden Gem near start of Swamp Rabbit Trail

Travellers Cottage is beautifully decorated. The owners have stocked the house with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well organized and easy to navigate for cooking a small family meal. We were in town to bike the Swamp Rabbit trail and loved the quaint covered shed in the backyard which included a bike rack. We would absolutely stay here again.

Family Weekend @ NGU

As I said in my last review….we would be back and we did just that this weekend. Due to the storm a few weeks ago, NGU family weekend was moved to this weekend. So of course we came back to the cutest cottage in TR. Took a morning walk to UpCountry for breakfast. Such a cute place to stay and a fun town.

NGU Homecoming Weekend

This was our first time staying in this cottage. It did not disappoint! They literally thought of everything in this place. So cute so very well put together. I loved looking at all the different vintage type of things that they had hanging up in the cottage. It was just really cute. We will definitely be back!

Exceeded expectations

It is built to look old, but it is perfect. From the hinges on the doors to the cabinets, it is beautiful. The beds are firm but comfortable. The large TV in the living room is at an ackward angle but not fixable. We had a problem with the stove and contacted the owners who brought us a dinner!!! It was so convenient to the bike trail. What a wonderful stay.
