Want to bring your boat or rent a pontoon? Cookeville Boat Dock is 8.8 miles away! Also enjoy the floating restaurant The Light House with their home made pies.
Lake access is a 7 min walk from home where you can launch your boat at the “Put In” or your kayak, paddle board, fish or swim!
Love to hike? The Lake house is close to many State parks where you can enjoy the hiking trails to the falls such as: Burgess Falls, Cummings Falls, Rock Island, and Fall Creek Falls.

The spacious kitchen/dining has all the essentials needed for cooking. Including new appliances, dishwasher, outdoor dishes and coffee bar. The large living room has a comfy sectional perfect for curling up for an evening movie.

Beauty everywhere: inside, outside & view is amazing too!

My husband and I stayed here with my sister, her husband, and my 13-year-old twin boys—and we all agreed this was one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever experienced! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The decor was absolutely top notch—it truly felt like an interior designer had styled the entire space. Elegant, cozy, and filled with charm.There were so many thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special. The large dining table was perfect for family meals and game nights, and the spacious bar area gave us plenty of room to gather and hang out. Outside, we loved the big dining table next to the hot tub, the comfy couch by the grill, and especially the unique gas fire pit shaped like a giant tree stump—so cool! Even the outdoor chairs were both stylish and unbelievably comfortable.Inside the home, Paula added the sweetest details—little notes tucked into planters, reminders written above the hot tub, and gentle instructions on how to care for the space. It was such a kind, personal touch that made us feel welcomed and respected as guests. The living room had books on country music history that we found fascinating, and I especially loved the Dolly Parton photos sprinkled throughout the house—so fun and fitting!The location was great too—it only took us 35 minutes to get to our kayak tour at Burgess Falls.We made some amazing memories here and are already talking about when we can come back.

Stunning Center Hill Lake Views!

We had a very pleasant stay at Maple Ridge Lake House. The property and home were top notch, very well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all the items we needed to cook and grill some incredible meals. The hot tub and firepit on the deck balcony were not only relaxing, but provided us breathtaking views of Center Hill Lake! The owners were very responsive to any inquiries.

Cozy Get-a-way!

My husband and I love to rent a cabin each year to retreat and relax. This cabin is now our favorite! The host was so communicative, and the cabin was perfect. We loved the location and ease from Nashville. We loved watching the sunset from the porch, and the inside was lovely and set up so well. We look forward to coming back with friends in the near future!

Great Location and view

Tempted to give a full 5 star review but can’t. Property was fantastic and all check in/out processes were how they were supposed to be.When we first booked we were asked about why we didn’t have a rating on Vrbo. It was my wife’s first time so she didn’t have a rating yet. It was mentioned to us that normally people with zero ratings were not considered to book there, even though at the time there were no notes in the description mentioning this and at this point they had taken our money. Eventually we spoke about it and it all got sorted out, although it felt more like a job interview than a typical weekend rental situation. There was a 175 cleaning fee, which is pretty standard but there were many notes left around the house with very precise items that were to be addressed before leaving. A few hours w were spent cleaning the property even though no mess had been made. It’s just weird these type of standards exist in order to get a good rating when you have already paid 175 to have a small place cleaned. Despite this, we somehow received a four star rating for who knows what reason.

This place was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway to hike middle TN. We were so close to great state parks for hiking and enjoyed the outdoors immensely. Also close enough to Cookeville to eat well and not have to cook for our weekend getaway. Loved this place!

Excellent all around!

The property is impressive! The views are amazing! Communication with the owner was great! She has truly thought of everything to make it "home" away from home. Just a heads up to future guests, the driveway is steep! 4WD or AWD would be very helpful, but can be climbed in a 2WD. If in a 2WD, you will most likely have to park at the bottom of the house. No complaints, just a heads up. We will be back!!

Weekend with Grandaughter’s

We had a great time relaxing and feeling special in this nice home! The girls loved the bedrooms and spending time on the deck. Everything we needed was there! Good hot water, cold fridge and plenty of towels for all. Love the decor and enjoyed all the room to spread out!

The location is spectacular! With a beautiful view of Center Hill Lake, easy access just a few minutes down the road, and Cookeville Boat Dock a short drive away, this house was is perfectly located and offers wonderful amenities.

Even better than expected

Every detail is accounted for. Beautiful views, home design and decor with good taste. Orderly and easy to rest and enjoy. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and games in family room along with sitting by the fire on the deck. Amazing A to Z!

Highly recommend!

We were so pleased with the house! Check-in/check-out was super easy and the home had everything you needed. The lake view was amazing. Definitely go down to the neighborhood lake access. The water was low so we were able to explore! My kids loved the hot tub and the games. They had a blast playing ping pong. I highly recommend this property!

Absolutely beautiful!!

This was such a lovely trip!! The home is beautiful. Every little detail was thought through. The view of the lake is amazing. I woke up super early one morning and just sat on the porch soaking in the clean air and marveling at the landscape. And Paula is an outstanding owner. She is super responsive. She met all my little needs. She worked so hard to make sure our trip was perfect. We made so many great memories on this trip. Could not have asked for a better home, location, or owner.

Perfect getaway!

Paula and lane were amazing hosts! They communicated very well throughout our stay. The house has beautiful design finishes and was decorated so well! Not to mention, everything was extremely clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking multiple meals. And of course you can’t beat the view! We will definitely be back!

In 2020 we decided to pursue a search for a country getaway to relax & unwind. In discovering Center Hill Lake it became the perfect destination, we fell in love with the beauty of the lake & surrounding area and look forward to sharing our space with others. We both enjoy hosting and have been mindful in setting up the Lake House in hopes guests also feel they have a home at the lake to soak up some of the wonderful TN outdoors!
