Dogwood Overlook has been on the rental program for many years with rave reviews from visitors from all over the world. The new owners were delighted to purchase this well-loved property and are excited to begin welcoming new and returning guests with even more features and experiences than before.

This is a perfect little getaway. It is so cute and cozy. So beautifully furnished and decorated and super clean. We loved the screened in porch and spent most of our time there or enjoying the view of the lake from by the fire pit.Karen's little thoughtful touches like snacks and water made it so special. I would highly recommend.

This home is beautifully kept and decorated. And the view of the lake is breathtaking. I particularly loved the screened in porch and spent most of my time there, drinking coffee in the mornings next to the fireplace, listening to the birds and walnuts dropping in the surrounding timber, relaxing on the daybed reading a book, so relaxing. The inside had everything you needed, even a toaster that my husband had to find for me (you have to turn the lazy Susan to see what’s on the other side). The living room was comfy with reclining sofas. The beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. We would definitely book this place again.

Updated, comfortable, and well equipped home

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this home! The kitchen appliances (fridge, oven and electric cooktop, microwave, and in-sink dishwasher) as well as the stacked washer and dryer appear new. The kitchen is well equipped. The property has a beautiful view of Center Hill Lake in the distance, surrounded by wooded ridges. We spent most of our time on the spacious yet cozy screened porch. Karen, the property owner and host, was very communicative and kind.

As a Cookeville, Tennessee native, I grew up on Center Hill Lake. My fondest childhood memories are filled with camping, swimming and water skiing on this beautiful lake. It has long been a dream of mine to share my love of CHL with others. I want to help guests at Dogwood Overlook make long lasting memories of their own at CHL.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My family and I have rented properties and camped practically everywhere on the lake. When we saw the beautiful view from Dogwood Overlook and experienced the convenience of getting to the property, we were instantly sold on purchasing the cabin. Not every home with a water view on CHL is easy to get to. Dogwood Overlook checked all the boxes for us -- gorgeous view, easy access, neighborhood boat ramp, close to all the major attractions and of course, the cabin was cute as pie.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The view is spectacular in all seasons. Fall is especially stunning with the leaves changing and the peaceful lake below. The huge screened porch is the perfect setting for reading a book, playing a game, enjoying favorite shows or lounging and laughing with family and friends around the outdoor fireplace. Hands down, it's my favorite spot in the cabin. Even during the hottest part of the summer, the porch is comfortable with the two ceiling fans. The cabin is perfectly situated to provide just the right amount of shade throughout the day to keep the porch from becoming too hot to enjoy. And the screens keep the bugs at bay so that you can sit out there without the fear of mosquitoes attacking you.
