The Franklin Estate - Suite B-Private Apt-King Bed

Suite B at The Franklin is the entire main floor with 2 full BA, kitchen, king BR queen BR, dining, 2 living rms, & option to rent the entire house! Our home is located in beautiful Greene County, "Gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains," which is conveniently located near Charlottesville, the Shenandoah National Park (lots of hiking and outdoor adventure), many antique/craft shops, wineries, breweries and FRESH AIR!

The space
Suite B is on the main floor, with a newly renovated kitchen with all new appliances, tile floors and custom cabinets, spacious dining room, massive living room with bar, a second smaller living room and a sitting room. Our cozy king bed and hotel sheets will invite you to kick back, relax and stay a while.

Spent the long weekend for graduation and was impressed by the spacious layout, ease of check in, and a few essentials provided! Walmart was super close by for anything we needed for the weekend. Would stay again!

Even better than the photos

The home was better than we expected, much bigger than it appears in pics. Owners did a first class job on the remodel. It was very clean and in a great location. Close to Charlottesville as well as hiking trails and wineries. We would stay there again.

Autumn Wine Vacation

Suite B was huge! Two bedrooms, formal dining room, big kitchen. The place was immaculate. The outdoor space was nice as well. It was helpful having laundry on property. I would like to visit again in the summer when we can use the pool! Check in was self serve and the code was easy to remember. It was nice having a full size refrigerator. Big back deck.

We’ll Suited For Family

Age range of occupants were 2-82 years old. Property was quite comfortable for my double stroke survivor mom. She loved open floor space as did my toddler running up and down the halls. Saving grace was entertainment in each room with streaming tvs boasting latest apps to log in. Even without request owners provided high chair and utilities for baby which was a plus.

Spacious1st floor suite

The B unit is enormous with huge rooms and plenty of space. The bedrooms don't have closets and the bathrooms are very small compared to the overall space. Neither bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The grounds are pleasant with several outdoor seating areas and huge decks. Other guests were easily overheard. Easy access for people with mobility challenges. Plenty of parking.

Very spacious and nicely kept

This place was very clean, roomy, and nice. It was also very nice to have 2 full bathrooms for the 6 people that the space fits. We arrived later than the typical check in window and got a little confused about parking but received prompt responses. The main thing to be aware of is that this is a space within a larger house. We didn't have any noise issues but you have to be aware and careful that there are people above and/or below you. This also meant that the hot water is shared, so unfortunately since we got back at night, our showers were not hot which was tough after being at a cold/rainy sporting event all day. Lastly, the kitchen supplies are pretty limited (i.e. no measuring cups), so bring what you know you'll need. Overall would highly recommend!

Great Space and set up for 2 couples

We were a parents/son (3 guests) and only stayed 2 nights so did not get to enjoy pool or immediate area too much. But this is a really spacious and clean place.

We rented this house in order to visit UVA and it was a perfect location for our visit. It’s about 15 minutes from campus. The house itself is beautifully maintained both inside and out. It was extremely clean and you can tell that detail / care is taken to ensure their guests feel welcome. In addition, Angela (the owner) was extremely quick to answer any questions posed. We definitely plan on coming back again to this property!!

The area was quiet and kept up beautifully. The check in process was seamless .
