Casa Mara is a true desert oasis that embraces the tranquil elements of nature throughout the design and furnishings, allowing you to arrive and instantly escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sun seekers have a run of this 1-acre, lush outdoor space, consisting of a large swimming pool with lazy river and water slide, hammocks, sun loungers, fire pit, putting green, citrus garden, half basketball court, Pickleball Court and a sand volleyball – all surrounded by views of the mountains and desert sky.

Want to take the entertainment inside? Casa Mara has a fully air conditioned, converted garage space that has become the ultimate game room and gym. Equipped with billiards, foosball, air hockey, ping pong and a large, big screen TV, this space will leave you thinking - what more could you ask for? Oh, a gym? We've got you covered with the all-new Peloton treadmill and Peloton spin bike!

Other noteworthy features - Sonos sound system integrated indoors and outdoors throughout the property, desert zen garden lounge area, hanging chairs, outdoor shower and an outdoor guest bathroom for easy access from the pool area.

There are several dining options with an outdoor kitchen that includes a grill, mini fridge, outdoor TV and plenty of prep space. Inside, the large open-plan kitchen comes with an island and large breakfast bar – your resident chef's happy place. All brand-new surfaces throughout the homes and sleek monochrome/earthy touches give the living area a classy, sophisticated feel, helped by the natural light through large windows – a sophistication that continues into the bedrooms. The luxurious bathrooms are particularly stylish, and the deep freestanding bathtub in the primary suite is the perfect place to end sunny Palm Desert days.

You won't need to (or want to) leave this estate property, but if you do, head to the unique landscapes at nearby Joshua Tree National Park for desert hikes and total tranquility or drive down the road to El Paseo, the “Rodeo Drive” of the desert for shopping and dining.

Nine exquisite bedrooms accommodate up to 18 guests, all featuring Casper mattresses, Smart TVs and AC.

Palm is the primary suite furnished with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and separate tub and private access to the expansive backyard.
Sand: Queen bed, reach in closet and shared bathroom with shower.
Driftwood: King bed, shared bathroom with shower.

Cactus: King bed direct patio access, en suite bathroom with shower and tub.

There is space available for up to 6 cars total. Street parking is not permitted. Oversized vehicles are not permitted.

For added convenience, this home also features two private washers and dryers. A spacious driveway provides room for up to 6 cars, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert, including Joshua Tree, located less than an hour away.

We want you to feel confident when renting a TRAVLR Vacation Home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Guests' and Employees' health and safety. Currently, we spend between 4-16 working hours to clean each rental property after every reservation and have enhanced our check-out cleaning procedures to pay close attention to all details, specifically disinfecting all surfaces with anti-bacterial solutions. We frequently change all HVAC filters and clean pools twice weekly to help ensure optimal cleanliness as well. Our vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves to maintain the safety of all parties.

Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options. If you are looking to play golf, we are minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.

Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world. In April comes the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals just minutes down the road hosted at the famous Polo Grounds where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

LOCATION
Walking distance to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, minutes from the Empire Polo Fields for all the equestrian activities and Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; 5-10 minutes from the La Quinta Resort, PGA West, Old Town La Quinta, and El Paseo. Less than 10 minutes from I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.

WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.

DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.

CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.

WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.

There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.

CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.

DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Palm Desert.
