A cozy new cabin in rural setting with a hot tub on porch. Beautiful rural view.

The Dale and Marguerite cabin is a 1 story layout named after my grandparents. Dale grew up on this farm (in the yellow farmhouse). The cabin overlooks a creek, and our guests are able to sit on the porch, or in the hot tub, and see a variety of wildlife and foliage. Guests can also walk the property. A clear night is breathtaking due to the rural area making stars vivid. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, and a full kitchen with pans and utensils. There are 2 TV's ( living room and bedroom) , DVD, and DISH Network. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is a 2 zone heating/A/C system providing separate thermostats in the living room and bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay at this cute little cabin while visiting our daughter at OU for Parents Weekend! The cabin was small but cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect little getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cute, clean place to stay while visiting the area.

Perfect cabin stay. It was a hot weekend and the AC worked great, bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen was convenient, and hot tub was nice and clean! We will be back!

The property is located in a very rural setting. The grounds are manicured beautifully and everything we needed for our short stay to visit Hocking Hills state park was provided. The hot tub has very powerful jets and was like brand new. There is a gas station and a Dollar General within a minute drive. The only down falls were a broken box spring in the bed which the owner said they were unaware of and the cabin had a strong smell of mildew. If you are wanting to visit Hocking Hills, the drive is about 40 minutes.

My boyfriend and I came here for a short getaway with our two dogs and were thoroughly impressed with all this property had to offer, not to mention how clean and well-stocked it was upon arrival! Hosts were very quick and kind in their responses, we would totally stay here again and recommend it to others!

The cabin was lovely! Had everything we needed. Being out in nature like that was wonderful… We trailered our motorcycles for this trip and rode all around the beautiful winding roads, visited Hocking Hills, and all the sites which was a real treat! Ending the day in the Jacuzzi was a great way to relax and unwind. Definitely would love to come back.

Nice, small, relatively new cabin. Bedroom was a bit too small however, with about a foot of space between bed and wall on each side; and bed was very soft (we called it oatmeal). Coded key holder on entry door wasn't easy to open (or close). Didn't use hot tub on porch as it was too warm and humid outside already during our stay. WiFi not working when we arrived; got it up and running the next morning after a few reboots. Single gravel lane runs from road to cabin - vehicle with some clearance is recommended (truck or SUV).

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin had everything we could possibly need. We cooked in every night and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The hot tub was also wonderful and very clean

The cabin is beautiful and just the retreat we were looking for. The hot and fire put are both awesome with great views. The property is secluded, safe, and lovely. GPS is spotty as you get close, but the check instructions were spot on. The host was super responsive and cordial. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for hosting!

Host was very responsive and offered anything needed during the stay! Quiet and a comfortable place to relax. Blankets and towels had a very musty smell, but nothing a good wash couldn’t fix!

hot tub on outside porch, 2 smart TV's, very private on 80 acres, located on the edge of Wayne National Forest, Zaleski State Park, and Hocking Hills State Park. The Ohio River is 35 minutes to the south of the cabin. Ohio University is 12 miles away.
