A cozy new cabin in rural setting with a hot tub on porch. Beautiful rural view.

The Dale and Marguerite cabin is a 1 story layout named after my grandparents. Dale grew up on this farm (in the yellow farmhouse). The cabin overlooks a creek, and our guests are able to sit on the porch, or in the hot tub, and see a variety of wildlife and foliage. Guests can also walk the property. A clear night is breathtaking due to the rural area making stars vivid. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, and a full kitchen with pans and utensils. There are 2 TV's ( living room and bedroom) , DVD, and DISH Network. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is a 2 zone heating/A/C system providing separate thermostats in the living room and bedroom.

The cabin is beautiful and just the retreat we were looking for. The hot and fire put are both awesome with great views. The property is secluded, safe, and lovely. GPS is spotty as you get close, but the check instructions were spot on. The host was super responsive and cordial. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for hosting!

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin had everything we could possibly need. We cooked in every night and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The hot tub was also wonderful and very clean

The host was very accommodating and communcative. The place was clean and pretty. My dog was welcome and she was so happy exploring. The fireplace inside is electric and very warming. We had a lot of towels and the robes were lovely. The firewood provided was locally sourced and had a lot of sap. The bed was aged. The site overall was lovely and we had a very nice weekend. The hot tub was also very relaxing.

We’re glad you enjoyed yourselves. Thank you for the comments. The wood is seasoned pine but does have some sap. I provide gloves upon request. I’m not sure what you mean by the bed being aged. The bed is the same age as the cabin, 4 1/2 years old, and it has a memory foam mattress pad on top of the bed. Comfort is very important on vacation, and we do prioritize the bed.

Wonderful pet friendly private retreat

Beautiful setting that was nice to come back to after being around big crowds. Cabin is cozy and we enjoyed having some games to play. It would have been nice to have some paper towels or napkins accessible. David was great to communicate with and was helpful with suggestions of what to do around the area.

Cute Cabin Weekend Retreat

This was perfect for my husband and I for a long weekend trip. I ran a 1/2 marathon in Athens, and it was an easy trip into town. We loved the family touches and the hot tub!

Great Weekend

We had a great weekend at this wonderful cabin. Enjoyed the family history of the property. Very quiet no intrusions. Location of cabin was far away from the other cabin or houses. Nice weekend get away.
