Relaxing Couples Cozy Getaway with Mountain Views

Relax in this charming townhouse with highlights like luxury bedding, mountain views, and heavenly memory foam mattresses. Guests have access to the entire home including the two decks great for enjoying the sunshine and a cup of coffee.

Conveniently located in a quiet community near all of the Olympic sites, golf courses, Whiteface Mountain, hiking, fishing, shopping, Adirondack Rail Trail. Whether you are here for an event, skiing at Whiteface, or just a weekend to enjoy the Adirondacks, this rental will be perfect!

We are a 3 minute walk from the start of the new Adirondack Rail Trail, a 34-mile multi-use trail corridor stretching from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake.

Walking distance to Lake Placid's favorite restaurants, like Lisa G's, main street is minutes away.

Whiteface is about 10 miles away, and the Adirondack Lodge is about 5 miles away.

Placid XPRSS is Lake Placid Village's free public transit system that has a stop within a 5 minute walk of our location. Placid XPRSS is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. This service runs the circuit through the business areas in the town of Lake Placid. Just find a sign and flag it down!

Loved the place, very clean and quiet. Close to Main St. and a lot of things are within walking distance (Restaurants and Olympic Center). The start of the Adirondack Rail Trail for walking and biking is also very close. If you're going to Lake Placid, I don't know why you wouldn't love this place.

Perfect Stay

The property was the perfect home base for our Lake Placid weekend. It was comfortable, clean, well-appointed and cozy. I highly recommend a stay there.

Great Trip!

Had a terrific time at Lake Placid. A tad far to walk to town after hiking, but it is doable. Great hosts and a wonderful property.

Perfect Place

This condo included all the conveniences of home making our stay so comfortable. It’s also so ideally located near downtown Lake Placid. Truly, this was a perfect place to stay for the weekend!

Perfect Lake Placid location

We really enjoyed out stay. close enough to downtown but a short walk so we were away from the noise of main street. The place was very comfortable and owners responded very quickly with any questions we had. We will be back!

Wonderful winter weekend

Our condo was absolutely wonderful! The host was quick to respond and the listing very accurate. The condo had everything one would need including luxurious sheets and a bath robe to relax in!

Gorgeous in Lake Placid

The condo was absolutely beautiful and even more functional than we expected from the online literature. Beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities were perfect and we had a great time. It's unusual for us to say that the housing made our vacation even better, but that's what happened here. Thank you.

A lovely clean place in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The place was immaculately clean and comfortable. It is part of a condo complex yet offers quiet, privacy, and beautiful views, especially now in foliage season. It is just a short walk to Lisa Gs for tasty food and 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Lake Placid. Carrie is easy to reach. I highly recommend her place.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

This is our fifth trip to Lake Placid since 2013 and first time enjoying this spacious, comfortable and very clean townhouse by soaking in all the special touches settled within a quiet community. From Lake Placid to Wilmington the ride through the mountains is beautiful, hearing the rush of the waterfalls, sitting on the grass with a view of mirror lake, downtown shopping, brewery and outdoor restaurants were our favorite activities. Looking forward to a return trip to this rental.

Getaway

My husband and I spent a little more than a week at this lovely condo. It was roomy and tastefully decorated. There were many lovely amenities including top of the line cookware. The host even left us a nice note and a gift of a bottle of pure maple syrup. The home is well laid out and in a complex that is very quiet. It’s centrally located for both walking and driving. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet and comfortable

The house was just what we needed. Separate floor for each bedroom promoted quiet and privacy. Main floor with kitchen, bathroom and living room was convenient. The beds were noteworthy for comfort. Two bedrooms each with a king size bed was so nice. Didn’t feel one of us had to take a lesser quality room.

Great Location Nice Property

We stayed with our best friends early October 2024. Communication and check-in were a breeze. Clean, very nice condo. Enjoyed visit with next door neighbors as well. The downstairs bath is small…shower was pretty tight, but we managed. Beds comfy. All amenities as described. Made for a great place to recharge, relax and play cards on the big kitchen table at night. Would recommend!

We Found a Gem!

We stayed here for a long weekend, during the Holiday Village Stroll annual event and had an amazing time. The condo was extremely clean and comfortable! We had everything we needed and had no issues checking in or checking out. The neighborhood was quiet with a cozy feel. Our hosts were very gracious and easy to communicate with! Thank you so much for sharing your home! We would love to return again in the future!

Extended Thanksgiving Holiday

Enjoyed our stay in the clean, comfortable and convenient condominium. It provided a base for us to visit with friends/family in 2 other Village locations and privacy for quiet time. We walked to two of Lake Placid’s best restaurants and the new rail trail 5 minutes away. Parking could not have been more convenient. This was among the best short term rentals we have ever used and we’ve used many.

Comfy and clean

My dad and I had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect set up - two bedrooms in different floors with common space on the first floor. The place was immaculately clean. It had all of the amenities needed and then some. The location is perfect. It’s a quiet, friendly neighborhood, and only a few minutes from Main Street. Since it was close to the main attractions, we were able to go back “home” for whatever was needed or forgotten. We were quite comfortable here. We would definitely return.

Good place and super-responsive Host/Property Manager

The unit was exactly as described, and very convenient for both Lake Placid locations and our hikes in the Adirondacks. High praise for Gwen and Carrie with regard to our stay. They were always very quick to respond to our questions, before arrival and during our time there. A welcoming note with a local maple syrup gift was much appreciated. We also thought the kitchen was particularly well stocked with pans, dishes, glassware, kitchen tools, knives, etc., compared to past VRBOs we’ve stayed at. This came in handy because we cooked a number of meals there.
