Beautiful mountain home with hot tub, hiking trails, pool table, shuffle board table, large view deck, three gas fireplaces. All new furnishings, two king suites with attached bathrooms, queen suite with attached bathroom. Additional half bathroom off the main living area with direct access to hot tub area. Perfect for two or three families. Spectacular views from large deck area with hot tub. Garage to secure mountain bikes or off-road vehicle etc. 15 minutes from Purgatory ski area and 10 minutes from Durango.
Lower level has bedroom with queen bed and attached bathroom with shower. Additional sleeping room with full/twin bunk bed and TV/couch area. Game room with pool table. Upper level has living room with gas fireplace, large leather sectional, pine wood flooring, dining room with table for 8 and additional seating for 3. Open kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. Game room with shuffle board table, dart board and fold out sofa. Outside seating consists of new faux wicker seating and additional seating overlooking the amazing mountain views. 1 minute drive to Durango Hot Springs or you can walk the 1/4 mile. Dalton Ranch Golf course is just across Highway 550 about 3/4 mile. PJ's gourmet market and liquor store is 1/2 mile. Great location and great property.

This home is AMAZING! You will not find a better place to stay in the area! So convenient to Durango and the million dollar highway. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. It had everything we needed for a week long stay with 8 adults. The view from the deck was lovely for morning coffee.Lower driveway had plenty of room for 2 motorcycle trailers and 2 trucks. 4 bikes fit perfectly in the garage.

Wonderful stay near Durango

The property was clean and spacious for large family group. Beautiful view from the deck. Host was great. Wonderful place to stay!

Incredible views, better than pictures, amazing property, great for families with teens and young ad

The pictures did not do this property justice! The views were spectacular, the details throughout the house were gorgeous, the kitchen was fun to cook in, beds were comfortable, we all loved the pool table, foosball table and shuffleboard; floorplan was great to be together and each have their own space when needed. You can easily access downtown durango or purgatory and its right by the hot springs resort. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, great location. You do hear a lot of road noise when sitting outside at times but with it being so close to things but far enough to see beauty and be in the mountains that is to be expected; sunset and evenings were our favorite on the back deck. The grill could use upgrading, it was hard to cook on, other than that a fab stay so super easy fix. I encourage a stay for adults and teens, multiple families for sure!!!!!

Wonderful house.

Very nice house. Clean, lots of extra supplies, and well stocked. It is on a hill with a steep driveway, but it was a perfect location for us. Would stay there again!

Great stay and location

The property was beautiful and clean. The host was quick to get back with me on any questions I had. The only reason there are a couple of 4s is we had asked for an early check in and they said o.k. When we got there the cleaning team was there. There was a lapse in communication so we couldn't check in until later that day. Not a big problem just kind of an annoyance. The drive way and parking were kind of hard for us. Even though there is plenty. The drive is really steep to the house and not much room at the top. We would definitely stay there again though. Like I said beautiful, beautiful views, and clean and exceptional hosts.

Rustic mountain home

We had an amazing time! Beautiful home, the view is amazing, the deck was such a hit with everyone! The house was clean and well stocked. Mike, our host, is awesome! Any questions we had he was very quick to answer. The location of the house is very convenient to downtown Durango and so much mote! Absolutely loved our stay!!

Beautiful large home with terrific views in awesome location!

Our family (6 adults and 2 children) was very comfortable here. We had plenty of space and slept well. We loved the pool table, foosball, shuffleboard and hot tub. We were able to cook 3 big dinners in the well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the keurig and supplied coffee and a few pantry staples and snacks. Our host was responsive and attentive. We felt right at home. The location allowed us to see a portion of the Durango/Silverton train go by, plus a wonderful view of the mountains. We visited the nearby Durango Hot Springs and Bar D Chuckwagon (highly recommend!) we would definitely stay here again! It’s lovely.

Wonderful home and great location

We stayed a week and enjoyed every day. Loved the location. Close enough to Durango but yet quiet enough to be relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the games. Check in and check out was so easy. Beds were very comfortable. Views from the deck were awesome and one of our favorite spots to hang out. Home is exactly as listed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place and location

Mike is a great host, quick to answer any question we had and is very accommodating. The house was perfect for our yearly ski trip. Locarion was perfectly set between the mountain and Durango. We will definitely come back here the next time we come back to Durango.

Polar Express Weekend

We had a great time at this property. We fixed a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner there and used the place as base camp for the whole weekend. We did have to hide the darts and cue sticks from the little kids as they were not age appropriate. They loved the foosball table and the shuffleboard! Being so close to the hot springs was a bonus. Make sure the snow shovel and ice melt is next to the front door and back door if there is a snow storm. The steps are steep!

Great location

We had an amazing week exploring the Durango area. The house was perfect for us and we enjoyed the hot tub at night after our daily adventures. The fall colors were really starting to turn when we drove to Ouray by the end of the week. Mike was great about checking in and answering questions before and during our stay. Wedding in Durango

We had a great time in Durango and saying at this house. It was great with all the family. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. The game rooms kept everyone having fun. Jacuzzi was nice after a long day and the beds are super comfortable. And I am a bed snob :).

Beautiful cabin

Perfect cabin for a family reunion, plenty of space for all. Loved the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the expansive deck.

Cozy Mountain Cabin

Very cozy cabin in the mountains with an amazing view! The cabin was clean and comfortable and well stocked. The game rooms were fun and the hot tub was an added bonus! The large deck offered beautiful views of the mountains and was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We even saw several mule deer right from the deck. This was our best VRBO experience yet! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect base for Durango

This house was even better than advertised. The bedrooms were large, everything was clean & well-appointed. My teen grandsons loved the game room. The adults enjoyed the hot tub & the view of the mountains. We spent a week touring various sites around Durango & this made for a perfect home base.

Amazing experience!!

The house was spotless clean! It had something for everyone to enjoy right in the house! Large kitchen, hot tub, beautiful view while sitting on the deck and a game room. Time spent at the house was as enjoyable as the adventures we went on while there. The owners were very accommodating and welcoming.

Wonderful house great location

Our only complaints were that the pillows on all beds need to be up graded to Hotel Quilty. We bought pillows that's how bad the ones downstairs were. It was centrally located that was awesome. The view was breath taking.

I have been in real estate appraising for 29 years. Originally born in Montana and moved to Boulder Colorado when I was 10. Moved to San Diego in 1986 where I raised my family. All of my family live in Colorado and have been coming to the front range, skiing, mountain biking, hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Came to Durango on vacation during COVID last summer and fell in love with the town. My wife Debbie and I decided to buy a second home to enjoy everything Durango has to offer. We own and manage our long term rentals and have had several VRBO properties over the years. We manage them ourselves so that guests can have direct access to us as we feel management companies are very impersonal.

The property fits our lifestyle. We made offers on several properties prior to this purchase and were glad that none of these were accepted. We were at home in San Diego and this property came up for sale. We made an offer that day and they accepted.
Great location, great views, 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths was perfect for our large family. Close to town, 10 minutes and 15 minutes from Purgatory for skiing. Beautiful property with natural wood floorings, wood ceilings, cabin feel with all the amenities.

Hiking trails on the property with direct access to National Forest. Dalton Ranch Golf club is less than a mile away and Durango Hot Springs Resort is 1/2 mile way where the owners just spent $17,000,000 remodeling. The home is so quaint with game room with shuffle board, foosball and darts. Downstairs there is a kids room with internet TV and pool table. All bedrooms have attached bathrooms.
