Exceeded my expectations ! Was a great getaway with ample room to entertain. Love the deep tub, the gas range and the fresh air deck off the back to watch birds.

Weekend Get Away

This is a very cute and clean cottage. It's just perfect for a weekend get away. We enjoyed our time and would definitely consider going back.

Butter Clam was Fab!

Cute little house, very clean and coastal but not tacky. We’d stay there again if we decide to return to the Ocean Shores area.

One of the Best

This stay is definitely in our top three of all times. Perfect in every category. Every creature comfort was met we considered buying a vacation house. Butter Clam Cottage was a great find.

Clean, cute and quiet

We were here for a relaxing break and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. There was some construction in the community, but the streets were clear and minimal noise was during the day at reasonable hour and did not detract at all from our peace and quiet. Very nice community with a trail to the beach. While we are an adult couple with no children accompanying, we saw quite a few families and think this a great destination for anyone with children. We will definitely stay again.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Please don’t take this review as something against the property. The property was very nicely set up, great for a big group or parents on a get away. One-for us-big downfall. This being a pet friendly stay, I believe a little warning about the small barbs in the grass would have been very nice. My dog has shoes and I would’ve brought those for her if I had known they were there. Upon arrival at the cottage, we took the dog into the grass and end up having to carry my 70 pound German Shepherd back to the porch, pulling many barbs out of her feet. They were also all over the carpets and we got several in our bare feet before opting for shoes in the cottage. Just be cautious where you take your dog in property and maybe remove the rugs.

We were very happy with almost everything. When we walked in we were so pleased with how everything looked until that night when we sat in the couch. It was incredibly uncomfortable. With every cushion we could bell the springs. We had to get all the pillows from the bedroom and lay on those to be somewhat comfortable. Very disappointing!

Great House and Community

Loved the house and community. Walkable to all amenities and the bay! The food at the grill was fantastic. Enjoyed the music Friday and Saturday evenings.

Very clean and bright. Well appointed kitchen. And the staff everywhere was friendly and helpful.

We had a very relaxing long weekend and highly recommend Oyhut Bay. We will be back.

Refreshing

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We had a very relaxing time. The kitchen only provides salt and pepper, so if you plan to do any cooking, plan ahead. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Pretty much everything we needed

Everything was clean and well organized, and we liked having a washer/dryer in the unit. Full kitchen just like you might have at home, bathtub was great, and lots of options for TV viewing (if that's your thing). We didn't make it to the beach since it was cold and wet during our stay so I can't speak to that. Would definitely stay here again in the future
