Harbor Island is a small, laid back, private island with over 2 miles of dunes and sugar sand beach. Since this is a gated community, you don't have to fight hordes of people looking for the perfect beach spot.

Activities abound; fish for reds, speckled trout, and flounder. Try your hand at crabbing. Take a walk on the secluded beach and find sand dollars and many different kinds of sea shells. Kayaks can be rented nearby to explore the tidal creeks. Bicycles can be rented on sight, and much more.

This unit has some of the best views on the island. Sit on the deck and look out at the expansive tidal marsh and Hunting Island state park. This unit is also situated for a short walk over the boardwalk to the beach. The Beach and Racquet Club, which is the activity center of the island is also just a short walk away. The club has an Olympic swimming pool, kiddie pool, and children's playground. The club house has an aerobic room and weight room on the lower level. Upstairs there is a snack bar and store, and covered balcony. You will also find volleyball, basketball, tennis, shuffleboard, and horseshoe courts.

Our condo is perfect for your beach vacation. Inside the unit on the lower level you will find a comfortable Living Room with overstuffed sofa and chair, a SONOS sound system and a 48-inch flatscreen TV w/DVD player.

There is also a well-appointed kitchen, dining area and 1/2 bath. Lastly, step through the sliding glass doors onto the balcony. There you will find a table with umbrella and chairs and one of the best views on the island.

On the upper level there are 2 bedrooms, each with private bath and plenty of closet space. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, dresser, nightstand, and a smart flat screen TV.

The master bedroom has a Queen bed, flat screen TV w/dvd, and a wonderful 8ft window looking out at an expansive tidal salt marsh, Hunting Island State Park and the Ocean in the distance.

Outside the unit there are swimming pools nearby and just a short walk from the end of the building is the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach.

The Harbor Island pool is open from April 1 - November 1.

Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Harbor Island Owners Association require a gate pass to gain access to the private island. GATE PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and are subject to change. The current rates are; for a day pass $25.00; 2 nights $35.00; 3 nights $45.00; 4 nights $55.00; 5 nights $65.00; 6 nights $75.00; 7 nights $85.00; 8-30 nights $140.00; 31-364 nights $215.00.
