The Kruse Cottage

This charming 1920’s bungalow/cottage has been in our family for over a century and we love spending time here when we are in town. With high ceilings, original woodwork, hardwood floors, and amazing front porch it is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
It is minutes from the Mississippi waterfront, bike path, Lumberkings Stadium, local grocery, and several bars and restaurants.

Very convenient location!

This charming older home is a perfect location to enjoy downtown and the river biking/walking trail. The description of the property is spot on and the house was very clean. You’ll find everything you need.

Beautiful and cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The Christmas decor made for the perfect setting for our family and friends. It's a very old home but it’s very well maintained. Absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful stay at this property

We have done a lot of VRBO staying in the area and this is a top three experience. Clean, well-appointed, great amenities, and extremely charming older renovated home. We were visiting family during the days and enjoyed early mornings and evenings here. Happily surprised with the smart TVs with YouTubeTV and other apps available. Kitchen is extremely functional. Overall a high quality, extremely high value experience. We look forward to staying again in the future if available.

Great place and comfortable

The place was clean and well maintained. Has everything you would need. We had a great stay and visit with our friends and it was perfect for our family. Would be happy to stay here again without hesitation.

Great Clinton Home

The Kruse House did not disappoint-the vrbo description was clear and accurate. Perfect for 2 couples or small family. It was a great place to stay while we visited family in the Clinton area for our brother’s 80th birthday. We would definitely recommend the Kruse House and hope to return in the future

Great location sara was a great host told us places to eat in the area the neighborhood was nice and such a friendly town and good fishing my boys caught so much blue gill bass and frogs

Home away from home

This place is quickly becoming out home away from home - perfect for when we’re in Clinton visiting family. Celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday and had plenty of room to host the family and cook dinner for all. A lovely and comfortable place!

Memories in a historical cottage

A homey ambience with historical impact along with modern technology and comforts. From natural woodwork to internet tv. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there with family and holiday meal. Convenient location, near the river and access to highways, great restaurants and grocery stores. Will remember to check out availability again when visiting.

Welcoming Stay

Welcoming from the moment we turned the key. The property was already decorated for the holidays. Our boys were in town for a funeral, it was all the comfort of home that they needed. We loved the this beautiful century home house and look forward to staying again!

The Kruse Cottage was a great place to stay in Clinton … it was very comfortable, with all the amenities of home. It’s in a convenient location and just a couple blocks from a grocery store. The trains do go nearby a few times a day, but the noise from their horns didn’t bother us.

The house smelled heavy of smoking and almost left cause it gave me a headache but not sure where to go at 9pm.worn mask all nite..not happy.

Not long enough

The decor and attention to detail made me feel at home. I found a smile on my face being in this cottage. I thought I booked it for 2 nights so unfortunately I did not get to enjoy my stay as planned.
