Imagine staying in a vacation cottage right on the beach- then this is your place! This duplex cottage located at the very northern tip of Topsail Island , offers breathtaking ocean and sunrise views and easy steps to the sandy beach (no dune to cross). It is recently remodeled and has four bedrooms and four full baths. The spacious master suite resides on the top floor and has unbeatable sunrise, sound, and ocean views. It has a king bed, private bath, Jaquez, and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. The other three bedrooms are located as you enter on the second floor. The two ocean-side bedrooms each have a queen bed with deck access and an incredible view overlooking the ocean. One of the two bedrooms has its own bath with combo shower/tub, the other bedroom shares a full bath with the bedroom to your left which has a bunk bed. The third floor is made for entertaining. The living room has ample and comfortable seating facing a large flat-screen TV, perfect for watching a game with the whole family. The dining area table room enough to seat six, with two at the kitchen bar. An open kitchen has room enough for several cooks. On the back side of the house are spacious balconies with beautiful and stunning ocean views. Ocean Vibes is the ideal retreat for families looking for a slice of home while away at the beach. Lots of windows and room to spread out. Enjoy this home in a quiet and friendly beachfront neighborhood with amazing sunrise and ocean views. Important Note- This property is surrounded by a lot of sand due to it's close proximity to the ocean. We recommend traveling in a vehicle that is capable of driving through sand, as there is a chance that you could get stuck in the driveway.

Being located on the beach was great but the cleanliness of the house was not. There were stains on the couch from 10 years ago, hair left on the shower, coffee stains left on the “clean” coffee mugs in the cabinet, knobs missing from the stove. There were cockroaches outside every night, I would recommend a company to spray outside. The sand on the driveway is ridiculous, so bad the picnic table is completely covered in sand. Definitely needs to be updated.

Wonderful stay for our group of 7; 4 adults, 3 kiddos ages 4, 10, & 15.Our favorite part is being right on the beach. There were no sandbags in use so there was no obstruction, access was perfect! Our other-other favorite part were the sandbars! What fun for the kids! And the tide pools, ugh! So warm and calm in July, a place where our 4 year old traveler to find a love for the ocean, he wouldn’t go near the water last year the water was very rough when we visited a different beach last year. He would say in his little boy voice over and over again, “Top Sail beach, the best beach of my world”. So precious!We had a great time watching the guys fish and even joined in from time to time. Do mind the listing and take a 4x4 vehicle due to the sand driveway.I can’t think of a single poor experience during our stay, maybe the grocery store on a Saturday night, the day the entire population tuned over and they’re all hungry and tired from traveling lol… that was wild . Even then it wasn’t terribly painful if you don’t mind a little chaos. Finally, the locals are so friendly!! They were so accommodating and pleasant. We can’t wait to go back again! Just FABULOUS 10/10 if you want to beach-bum, cook your favorite foods, and never wan to leave lol! I will leave some photos, although I don’t have a ton because I was too busy enjoying the moment. Mother’s Day weekend

Love North Topsail! The location was great, but the cleanliness of the house when arriving was a little concerning. Don’t get me wrong I like the house it was exactly where I wanted to be.

Great House in Great Location

Our stay was great! The beach access and fishing left nothing to be desired this time, BUT, that's nothing that the owners can control; that's just part of having a house right on the beach and having a storm come through before your arrival. We did enjoy being able to fish from the deck other than getting caught in the sand bags. We had a great time despite that, and we would definitely consider coming again!! If you want beach and house, this is definitely your place!!! 10/10 for sure!!!

A good time.

The house is very nice inside. No complaints with the actual house at all. However this house and several neighboring houses have huge sandbags between the house and ocean that are highly unattractive. These sandbags were not mentioned or pictured. We also discovered signs that says to keep off of l the sandbags and ten feet away from them so direct access to the beach is blocked. This is something that needs to be addressed by the city and the rental company before the houses are rented.

The communication? We got two addresses on the same emailed sheet. The information on that sheet was often at odds with what was on the frig. When does trash get picked up? Weren’t sure. It was overflowing when we arrived and wasn’t picked up until Monday. The good. On the beach (beach is actually slowly taking over the the house)! It was clean. Everything functioned well. Upon entering the front door, you walk into an entryway/stairwell. The stairs take you to the another “front door” at the bottom floor. However, at the bottom of the stair is another door that leads to underneath the house where everyone washes off the sand. There are no pictures of any of this space. Does it work? Yes. Is it pretty. Definitely not. Under the house, you are enclosed by all the X bracing of the pilings. These are all 2x12s. As adults, these are NOT easy to maneuver on your way to and from the beach. Back to the entryway. The space is enclosed, hot and the tiled stairway becomes full of sand. First floor. As described. Three small bedrooms. Two facing the ocean. On the second floor is the living area & kitchen. It is sufficient. Best word I can think of to describe the house. We found there were so many things missing. Knife sharpener? Nope. Cheese grater, no. The house sleeps 10, The table seats six. Small things. But Annoying. 3rd floor. Nice but warm. Thermostats would not go below 67. On the 3rd floor? Gets warm. All in all, it was sufficient.

Spring Break

Our family enjoyed our spring break at North Top Sail Beach. This home was amazing and perfect for our family. The best sunrises and direct access to the ocean was perfect!

Great Fishing Trip!

This was a work fishing trip that we do every year. We have stayed at numerous locations on the NC Coast. This by far was the best and most successful trip we have had. We caught lots of fish from the shore. Being that close to the water was amazing. We will definitely be back, Lord willing.

BEWARE!

My family and I wish we could leave a 0 star review. We did not have to have things pristine and don’t mind roughing it a little however there were the peoples hair in the shower before us, contact lenses on the night stand and it looked like there was pizza sauce or blood on one of the night stands. But wait there is more! Master leaking toilet, clogged pipes with the toilet drainage water dripping through the floor and onto the kitchen table below is beyond anyone’s tolerance. Spent a day with Plumber that came who said the problem has been for a long time because of the wrong installation so its hard to believe that the owner is unaware of the problem…I have given the manager a month to respond and make good of the horrible experience but crickets. I recommend going with a different house and company! All around horrible!!!

House with wonderful view, difficult driveway

this is a lovely house right on the beach. The views from the living/dining area are gorgeous. Only concern is that anyone renting has to be sure they have a 4 wheel drive car that can get through the sometimes deep sand driveway.

Beach full bliss

We love staying at this particular property! The only drawback is the driveway and road! It is a sandy driveway and road. I almost got stuck several times while coming and going. I had to put my vehicle into 4 wheel drive in order to leave this morning. But other than the very sandy driveway and road, I absolutely love vacationing here!

Views..wow...drive for everything else

Was worth going to once for ocean views, as you'll probably never have the ocean this close anywhere else. There is zero other things to do. Food, take out, amenities all several miles away. Being this far from anything, the place needs to be better equipped. For the amount of cleaning fee it really should have had a dish towel, some minor cleaning supplies and paper towels, toilet paper, you literally have to bring everything you would use except dishes and pans. Cleanliness needs to be stepped up also. Manager was quick to respond for questions.

Family girl’s trip

We loved the location and property. We especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck in the tall chairs just watching the ocean. What a view!! The north end was peaceful and those few we did encounter were so nice! Even though we had to evacuate early due to Hurricane Ian, we loved the trip!

Mens get away

We had a wonderful time and would stay here again. For others they need to know they need a 4 wheel drive for the drive way and there needs to be a better way to keep feet clean going in and out of the home. The sand covers every entrance possible. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay!!

Beautiful house on the beach

Photos don’t do this home justice. We loved our stay here. Kitchen was well appointed. Lots of beach toys and chairs are supplied. We enjoyed exploring the exposed sandbar during low tide. If you like beach combing, you can easily find shark teeth - we found over 300! Sand in the driveway tends to drift due to wind. We had to use 4wd several times when sand was too thick to enter/exit the driveway.

Lovely house, difficult driveway

We loved our time here. The views are amazing and we loved the beach which was excellent for children and surfing. Only issues were that one of our cars which was not 4 wheel drive could not get into the driveway because of all the sand. I’d encourage owners to either plow the sand, or be clearer to renters that they might have to find a place to park on the entrance road.

Everything was great. One exception little toilet paper and soft soap each bathroom watered down

Perfect getaway right on the beach with ocean views everywhere. The place is amazing with a great beach location. Loved walking to the tiki bar nightly and going to dinner locally. Nice beach walks. Only bad thing no toilet paper maybe 1-3 sheets on rolls there and all soft soaps in each bath room were watered down. Minor and easily fixed 😊 we loved it snd would recommend.
