Our bright, peaceful and private Galena retreat is the perfect choice for your getaway. The home features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an open concept main floor with updated kitchen with granite countertops, dining area and living room. The four seasons room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. There's a spacious back deck for cookouts and entertaining. The two main bedrooms each have a king bed, and the third bedroom features a queen and a double bed. Guests always mention how great it is for each bedroom to have its own private bathroom. Whether you're traveling with family or with friends, you will find the home is well suited for switching between socializing and getting away from the crowd. The backyard looks out to a densely wooded landscape which offers privacy and serenity.

This quiet location is a 3 minute drive from the Owners Club. It is 5 minutes away from golf courses, Shenandoah Riding Center and the Marina. Chestnut Mountain is 15 min away.

Little piece of heaven

We usually stay on the territory every summer as a family. This place was absolutely perfect! It met all of our accommodation needs and even more. Our boys loved it and the sun room was my favorite part. Rooms were very comfortable. We definitely said we will book this lovely home again next year.

Fantastic reprieve from the business of life

If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it. The location is close to downtown Galena - just 15 minute to Main Street. Hike, pontoon, eat great food, ride a horse, shop and savor your days.

Fabulous weekend reunion

This house is wonderful! It was perfect for our ladies family weekend. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and included everything we needed. The owner was very gracious and welcoming- would definitely recommend this house!!

Feels like home!

This property is truly beautiful! The space is well laid out for a family vacation. There was space for eight of us to be comfortable for family time, and alone time. The neighborhood is peaceful and private. We all enjoyed our Galena time thanks to this comfortable home!

Wonderful stay!

Very nice weekend getaway. The house and kitchen were well stocked, comfortable rooms. Beautiful, peaceful community. From the patio we saw deer, a groundhog and a turkey with tiny babies. We visited the bird sanctuary, historic Main Street and did the goat trek. Enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Great place to stay!!

This property is exactly how the pictures look! Very clean and was comfortable for our family of 5. The sun room was great along with the fireplace in the living room! The kitchen was supplied with everything you could want!! Very convenient to get to the general store and the entrance to Eagle Ridge! Communication with property manager was always answered quickly. Would definitely stay here again!!

Good fit for family needs

Owner was very responsive to inquires before and during our stay. Rental kitchen was well stocked along with supplies like spices, soaps, detergent, toilet paper, etc. The area is beautiful and we made good use of the owners club and private lake. Galena was so charming. The Mississippi aquarium/museum in Dubuque was great for the kids.

Raw sewage in the house

The house was beautiful, but raw sewage seeped into the laundry and adjoining rooms the second day of our stay. The clog was repaired but the sewage was not cleaned up during our stay, and a message to the host requesting cleanup went unanswered. No compensation was offered. All fees included, we paid A LOT for two nights in a house with leaking raw sewage. Very disappointing, not to mention malodorous and unhealthy.

We rented this house for 5 adults to stay in over the labor day weekend. The house was clean and fit our needs perfectly. It was great having a full bathroom for each of the bedrooms. The kitchen appliances were nice and the overall layout of the house exceeded our expectations! We will certainly rent this house again next time we are in Galena.

Great girls getaway

Perfect place for a sisters getaway. The 3 on suite bedrooms are a luxury for everyone to have their own bathroom. The location and drive to the house is beautiful and only a short drive to Galena.

So perfect!

We stayed for a long family weekend. The home was beautiful. Loved taking advantage of the peaceful back deck to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine. The 3season room was my favorite space overall. The home had everything we needed. Super easy in and out of the Galena area. Communicating with the host was easy and fast. Can't wait to come back!

Cousins Get Together

We had a great stay in this property. Three couples stayed and we each had our own bathroom, which was great. We enjoyed the 4 season room and spent some time on the deck. We also used the grill to cook a meal. We enjoyed our stay.

Open the door to the 4 seasons room and you will see all my reasons for this property. The leaded glass transom windows are surrounded by a verdant landscape: it's beautiful and calming to the soul.

I love that each bedroom has its own private bathroom. This is so important when friends and families book vacations, but really, who doesn't love to have their own bathroom?!
The four seasons room is a lovely place to unwind, especially in the evening when it can be closed off from the rest of the house via the living room door. Anyone who went to bed early can still sleep peacefully while the night owls continue to chat!
