Escape to your very own paradise nestled along the Eastern Shore. Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will love this tranquil coastal seaside getaway setting fronting on the extraordinary mudflat that is Clam Harbour. Minutes away from the long the white sandy beach at Clam Harbour Provincial Park. This four bedroom home is perfect for making memories with your family!

At low tide walk the 6 km circuit with summer swimming and clam digging while at high tide kayak in the truly spectacular 100 Wild Island Coastal Wilderness. Minutes away from long the white sandy beach at Clam Harbour Provincial Park. The fire pit and hot tub off the wraparound patio is perfect for magical evenings under the stars. Inside you will be wowed with the custom built features of this home. Heated with a wood stove and heat pump makes this home comfortable in all four seasons. The open concept, light filled main floor is perfect for family gatherings or cozying up with a nice book in front of the fire in the large window wood stove in the colder seasons. In summer feel the outdoor breezes with German designed tilt & turn windows and doors. Four bedrooms up allows guests and family to stay in comfort.

PS : this home has 2 bathrooms . One full bathroom upstairs and one half bathroom downstairs.
We would appreciate if kids don’t play with playdoh , water or slime inside the house . Furniture should not be moved . FirePit is not supposed to be moved . Garbage needs to sorted , Burn restrictions are to be followed. Water to be poured once fire pit is used . Only toilet paper to be flushed , we have a septic tank .

Beautiful, quiet location near the beach

We had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful property. The house is a very short drive to a provincial park with a lovely beach. I feel comfortable recommending the property for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Just one note: if you visit during the summer months, be sure to bring mosquito repellent.

We had a really perfect time. Beautifully furnished, well appointed with everything you need, our group had a fantastic experience. The sauna (with a spectacular view) and hot tub were wonderful features. The proximity to Clam Harbour Provincial Park & Beach was a major plus. If you are looking for somewhere special, this is the place.

Wonderful amenities

The house was clean and well appointed. The owner was responsive. Important to note this is a 11/2 bathroom home only one shower/tub upstairs and toilet and sink downstairs. The area was foggy everyday The closest open store or restaurant was 20 minutes away. The hot tub and sauna were great. Beaches were very close.

Thank you for your review Ellen. Unfortunately in Vrbo there is no place to list a half bath , that’s the reason our listing states 2 bathrooms. We apologize if there was a misunderstanding, but unfortunately we cannot do anything to change that.

Girls Trip

The location is beautiful. The kitchen is poorly organized and missing some essentials while having extra non-essentials. Not enough robes or towels for every guest and there was an odd smell throughout the bathroom and washer/dryer closet. The decor is gorgeous, and we had the best time relaxing in the hot tub and lounging in the cloud-like couch and beds! Would definitely come back and home to visit your other locations as well !

hi Vanessa, Thank you for your feedback . We provide 8 regular towels and 6 beach towels. Based on the number of guests , we make sure that each guest as enough towels. Hello Karen, I would like to confirm that the hot tub towels are hotel size towels that are provided. We also provide robes , and additional white towels . My caretaker Cathy was there when you arrived and helped you with the garbage bags I also messaged you confirming that blue bags were under the bin. The number of washrooms in this house are 2 . Unfortunately, vrbo doesn’t have any place for us in the listing to add this information that it is a half bathroom. This is clearly not the hosts fault. I wish you had shared your feedback with me via text message or a verbal call or even an email and I could have shared some information with you regarding towels, etc. We have a full house manual sent in a link to all guests with all the details about the house, including the extra supplies and towels. Your review seems very ungenerous , even though we did our best to accommodate you. Your lack of communication suggested to us that everything was fine. Lastly the comments on absentee owners seems very out of place as it’s clearly stated in all our listings that the host will not be available on site, nut will be available via email phone or a call as we respect the privacy of our guests and don’t want to intrude. Clam Harbour

The property was nicely appointed and clean and close to the beach as described. You could hear the surf from the porch some nights. My only issue was with listing accuracy. It is advertised as a 4 bedroom, 2 bath which sleeps 8. It is actually a 1.5 bathroom, so those 8 are expected to share 1 shower. Upon asking about listing accuracy, I was told there is nowhere in VRBO to show it as a 1.5 bath. After speaking to VRBO, I learned there are multiple ways to more accurately advertise how many bathrooms it has.

Hi Liz, The reason we are unable to list this as 1.5 bath is because we use a PMS software. It is a short term management software. This tool allows us to list and manage all our 14 locations through one portal. Unfortunately the PMS does not allow us to list it as 1.5 bath , I only have the option to add it as a 2 bathroom. I will dig a bit deeper directly through pms and Vrbo to fix this. Thank you for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay

Perfect location for going to Clam Harbour Beach

The location was perfect for attending the Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cooking equipment we needed for making our meals. The multiple emails from the host warned about being fined $100 if the garbage was not sorted properly between the black and blue bags, but there were only clear bags in 3 garbage cans with no labels to indicate which can was for what. Eating all together was a tight squeeze, as the table and benches are really only large enough for 6 people. The living room also only had seating for 6. The outdoor space was great. There was an added screen room on the deck with enough seating inside for all 8 of us. The fire pit area didn’t have any chairs or seating of any kind, and the email correspondence from the host instructed not to move any indoor or outdoor furniture. Our stay was not as relaxed as it could have been, constantly worrying about getting one of the possible fines for not following the many instructions in the host’s emails. The morning of check out, there was another email with a reminder to lock the door and not steal anything on the way out. Unfortunately, the door wouldn’t lock. The previous day, the door locked with no problem when we were on the way to the beach, but the morning of check out, the system kept giving an error message of “time expired” despite it still being 10 minutes before check out time. Fortunately, I was able to call the host and advise of the issue.

Hi Wendy, I’m disappointed to see a four star review because of the garbage bags. The only thing that I could comment here is, that if you could have just sent me a quick message or an email I could have told you where the blue bags and the black bags were, they were in the closet by the kitchen, which had a code in it. Re The door lock sometimes the door doesn’t level properly and therefore it says that it’s timed out but actually it just needs to be closed tighter and leveled. I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful Clam Harbour Beach as well as the Sandcastle competition.
