Welcome to this charming house in Lake Charlotte situated on 12 acres of pristine ocean front property. Enjoy the spacious deck overlooking the ocean, or take a short walk down to the private beach for a hike or swim. The surrounding area also includes several gorgeous public beaches within a few kilometer drive from the property.

This fabulous vacation rental boasts 3 bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. With 3 bathrooms, including amenities like a hair dryer, toilet paper and feminine products, you'll have everything you need for a phenomenal stay. There is also a loft space with a cozy sofa bed. Enjoy the convenience of amenities such as an iron, AC, heating, washer & dryer, and WiFi. The property is also equipped with a generator to ensure power for the duration of your stay, regardless of weather conditions.

The perfect spot to truly get away and enjoy the coast. Possibly the most well-appointed home share experience we've ever had. Feels like the host has thought of everything you might need. We felt very spoiled in this home and on this beautiful property.

Wonderful Stay in East Jeddore

This home is wonderful and is very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellent, everything in the home is top-notch, including furniture and beds. The deck is beautiful and gets lovely sun. The location is very quiet, we heard birds and surf from the beach all day, it was so peaceful. It is a long way to the grocery store and the closest beach for swimming is about 25 minutes away - that was the only (slight) downside of this home.

Beautiful spot

What a spot! It was so wonderful to have a rocky beach to explore. The home is beautiful and has everything you might need! It was very quiet and relaxing . If we head this way again, we would stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at Lenora's property. We were there for a week long family vacation exploring the area. It was a good location for day trips to Halifax and several great local beaches. The house was new, very clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. Situated on a nice private lot. Great views of the ocean out the large front windows and from the deck. The house was thoughtfully equipped to make our stay nicer - some extra toiletries, some light first aid stuff, bug spray, etc. The kitchen was excellent. We cooked several meals in and had all the pots/pans/utensils we needed.A wonderful place to stay when visiting Nova Scotia.

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. Everything was perfekct to us. We loved walking to the beach. The kids played and had so much fun there. The nature is just stunning. So in all together: wonderful

We had the absolute best stay here. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more, exceptionally clean, and easy to live in. We loved having the ocean just steps away from the door and spent many hours exploring the shore. We were fortunate to be visited by porcupines in the early evenings, and spotted several seals in the ocean. We took two day trips into Halifax (about an hour’s drive) and also visited Clam Harbour Beach and Memory Lane Heritage Village which are closer to the house. We learned so much about the history of the area and were lucky to encounter super friendly and helpful folks along the way. The grocery store was close by so we stocked up and ate many meals in the very well equipped kitchen. Waking up to the sounds of surf and sea birds was lovely, and the sunsets weee spectacular. This vacation was superb and we will all carry happy memories of Blue Horizon forever.

Breathtaking Beauty

From the moment we walked into the home we were stunned by the beauty on the inside and on the outside. An entire wall of windows, giving view to a gorgeous ocean view, which was even better from the second floor, was breathtaking. The newly renovated home was modern, bright, impeccably clean, and stocked with literally anything and everything you could possibly need on a vacation. I was in awe of the thoughtfulness of the owner, who stocked the home with extras of every single item one could imagine, and who provided top of the line kitchen accessories, high quality linens and a brand new grill, as examples. This owner provided hospitality at its best. We came to Nova Scotia for the first time and stayed at an amazing home to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We did not want to leave, and cannot wait to return!

Immaculate Cottage / Home Facing the Atlantic

Everything we could’ve asked for or expected. The home felt new in every way and the amenities gave it a luxurious feel. There was a rocky beach a few hundred feet down a path which was great for exploring and watching the seals and we even found a section suitable for swimming with our 4 year old. The view from the cottage of tall spruce trees and the open Atlantic Ocean was made even better by floor to cathedral ceiling windows and a large wraparound deck with Adirondack chairs. Perfect for enjoying the complimentary morning coffee with a view!Well-appointed bathrooms, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, and a kitchen nicer than what we have at home, made our stay that much better. The cherry on top was how kind and responsive our host was when we had questions before or during our stay. Two incredible beaches are within 25 minutes and two more are within 45 minutes. Groceries are only 14 mins away along with a couple of good restaurants. We cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend this to cottage on the ocean to anyone!
