Frente al Mar Casa, planta moderna y cocina con nueva marca, TV de pantalla plana en cada habitación, Wi-Fi gratuito.

En septiembre de 2014 llevamos a cabo toda la alfombra e instalamos pisos de madera en todas las habitaciones. Además, cada cama tiene un colchón nuevo, nuevas persianas en las habitaciones y una nueva bomba de calor para la refrigeración y calefacción más eficiente y eficaz! Además, nos han metido nuevos sofás en septiembre! Es FRESCO !!

Esta casa de playa de dos niveles incluye ... TV por cable / DVD ... Internet de alta velocidad .. una variedad de tarjetas, y juegos de mesa para su familia para disfrutar ... todo sin costo adicional. El porche-in es preciosa, no importa el tiempo! Hay una mesa de picnic para el café de la mañana o merienda, o sentarse, relajarse y escuchar el océano en las sillas de mimbre.

La cocina está bien equipada con todos los platos, ollas, sartenes y aparatos para que pueda fácilmente puede azotar encima de una comida de la abundancia de mariscos frescos de la zona y producir disponibles en la isla. No te pierdas el mercado de agricultores todos los lunes encuentra a media milla de la casa.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio en el que se despierta con vistas al mar! La segunda habitación del segundo piso tiene una cama de 1 reina, en la planta baja de la tercera tiene 2 camas dobles y el cuarto tiene una cama de matrimonio.

A poca distancia de Centro de la ciudad con 5 Públicas Pistas de tenis, parque de skate bordo, fútbol / campo bola, nueva zona de juegos, lugar de pizza, tienda de helados, alquiler de películas, y T-shirt / souvenir shop playa.

Una escapada perfecta para familias y parejas en cualquier momento del año! Necesidad de eliminar el estrés y descansar, entonces es el momento para unas vacaciones de playa.

Se trata de un domingo a domingo alquiler semanal durante el verano.

The kitchen has everything I needed to cook. The balconies were great. Beautiful views of the ocean from both. One recommendation on the gate on the balcony is to make the slates more close together so little dogs can’t get out between them.

The view from the deck is stunning, but the rental itself was disappointing given the high cost. The ocean-view bedroom had a bed barely 8 inches off the ground, and the drywall near the door was wet and crumbling. Mold was visible in corners, and the upstairs closet bathroom lacked ventilation, with a broken fan and moldy shower curtain. The shower had poor pressure and leaked badly. No screens on bedroom windows meant bugs came in if opened. Vents had black mold on them, and the return air grate was filthy. Under beds were dusty and hairy. Sliding door walls were hard to open and covered in salt so you could not see out of them, both of which I cleaned and oiled myself. The vacuum spewed dust, the toaster only worked if held down, and the garbage lid didn’t close, attracting bugs in the kitchen. The dishwasher door slammed dangerously when opened, and its seal was gross with food. We found dead bugs in window sills and even saw roaches. Only 4 toilet paper rolls were provided for 8 people for a week. The smoke alarm was left on the bathroom sink upstairs. The downstairs tub didn’t drain properly. Worst of all, despite be charged a cleaning fee, I had to clean on arrival and departure—and take out the trash to the curb on vacation. This rental needs attention.

This is a great house, perfectly located on the beach but also close to grocery store (Publix) and restaurants. The house itself was super clean with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is fully supplied with good pot and pans, knives ect., better than your typical rental. We were a family of three (3.5 year old) and a dog. The deck is gated which was super helpful. Also the outdoor shower is convenient. Highly recommend.

Exactly as described! Beautiful beach views. Fully stocked with all household items, even towels for your fury friends. No need to pack beach chairs or beach toys, it’s all there waiting for you to enjoy. We only had a few minor hiccups with some appliances but our concerns were answered and resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend to others!

Great Family Vacation Location!!

This was the perfect place to stay and enjoy family time with a low key atmosphere. The house is right on the beach with easy access. Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed!

We come to Oak Island every year for our family vacation. We tend to stay at different places each time for one reason or another. I think we will revisit this lovely house again next year! The house was super-clean and was stocked with all the essentials from toilet paper to paper towels, trash bags to dish detergent, and came with all the linens from sheets to plenty of towels. Wifi worked great and the large tv in the living room area was nice!! The AC kept us cool the entire trip (we've stayed at some homes where this was not the case). Plenty of room and a great deck on the back for dining or just sitting and enjoying the beautiful view. Oh...great communication from the host, too. Super-friendly! Thank your for a great stay in your lovely home!

Great access to beach but home had several issues that needs to be addressed

Location great-private oceanfront access to the beach. However listing is inaccurate. Several issues-should not have been available to rent. It was not recently renovated. Several soft spots in the flooring-not safe. Feels like you will fall thru. AC guys there when we arrived. Even though this was mentioned to us upon booking, it took them until 6:30pm to get done. Seemed they didn’t know what they were doing. Younger guys using foul language. In and out of the home constantly. Had to call what looked like a veteran/season worker to help get the install complete. Told us at arrival it would only be another 2 hours which ended up being over 4. After “completion” guy told us he was setting it on 67. The AC never worked or came on the entire 5 days. House sit at 76 degrees very stuffy/uncomfortable. This work should have been done prior to our arrival and not listed until it was complete. Strong odor in upstairs bedroom where they sprayed something. Upstairs bathroom was extremely dirty and not stocked with tp. Toilet sit broken. The floors throughout was dirty/gritty. Stove/oven dirty. House was not clean. Not enough towels/washcloths. All trash/recycle bins full when we arrived. Left sitting for awhile. We took 3 bins to curb ourselves yet we only had 4-5 bags total. Very dark as carport lights didn’t work. Balcony screen upstairs would not open, stuck. Security fencing broken. Outside shower latch rusted/brkn, would not stay shut. I cleaned everything before departing.

Loved this sweet spot on the beach. It's 100% as advertised. Well stocked kitchen, and for us, really fantastic decks. The one off the upstairs master is a nice bonus. We'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful beach week

We enjoyed our stay, and the house was great! The door lock on the first day was our biggest challenge. It didn’t want to unlock, but we figured out what it wanted. It wants to be pulled toward you once the code is entered. After that it was smooth sailing. We had to contact the host but the reply and correction was done quickly. The area, people and places, were great. Two grocery stores within a 5 minute drive and some very good seafood restaurants. The bbq grill was great, we used it twice. I took my crock pot with me, we like make head dinners and weren't sure if there would be one. There was, so no need to bring one from home if you're planning crockpot dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The balcony was great to sit and watch the sunset. The online listing is correct, the stairs to the second floor are steep but doable. We will be booking this again if its available for our annual beach week next year.

the photos made the house look in better condition than it actually was. I believe the house was built in 1979 so it has a good bit of wear & appeared to be a bit shopworn. The main TV in the front area did not work properly; The first floor toilet ran off & on due to what was probably a leak in the tank & the system automatically refilling the tank when necessary; The gate on the lower deck needed a couple of screws to keep the door locking mechanism secure (It appeared that a couple of screws were missing from a block of wood on the gate;) the screen door on the upper sliding glass doors was stuck, I could not get it to close; The lower sliding glass doors had no curtains, so at night with it dark outside & lights on in the inside it was like you were on display; The house is not for those adverse to stairs, It has the normal exterior stairs however the internal stairs from the bottom floor to the upper floor are steep & somewhat difficult to negotiate for anyone that has a problem climbing stairs, walking/balance issues, knee issues, etc; There were no traction mats for the tub or the shower that would have made it less likely for someone to slip & fall; the floors have some places that kind of sag; the appearance of the gas grill on the lower deck was not conducive to using it; we did use the charcoal grill in the yard; The price may reflect the overall condition, I don’t know. I’m not that familiar with prices on Oak Island. Overall, not bad but a little disappointing.

Relax with Tropical Debbie

Celebrated my birthday with my BFF in my happy place. Even with Tropical Storm Debbie we had a relaxing enjoyable stay. Great location with perfect views of the ocean. Easy access to the beach made it perfect to enjoy the sunshine the last four days.

Adorable Beach Retreat

Such a wonderful property situated directly on the beach. This home has a great deck with plenty of outdoor furniture. The inside is cozy with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our host exhibited quick and courteous communication. We would definitely return!

Disappointed in this rental

I would not rent here again. The owner was unresponsive to emails. The house feels disorganized, neglected, and needs repairs. There is no attention to detail. There is a view of the ocean but not the sand. Watching your people on the beach from the deck is not possible. There is no water hose to rinse off beach equipment or your feet. From the shower you have to cross the sand to reach the deck stairs, rendering the shower you just took useless. There are no blinds on the sliding glass door in the living room making the TV unwatchable during the day. It isn't a well-appointed kitchen lacking sauce pans and knives. There were 2 washcloths. A main floor bedroom had no remote a the other bedroom TV couldn’t be turned up loud enough to hear it. The upstairs balcony bedroom curtains don’t cover the door so you can’t block the morning sun while trying to sleep. The floor has a large soft spot by the chair in the corner and needs repair. The windows in the other bedroom don't seal well and were wet with condensation. The upstairs bath is super small with nowhere to leave your things. Two of the outside lights didn’t work. The towels were still in the dryer being dried when we got there. The game shelf was in disarray with puzzle pieces loose on the shelves. Things were thrown in the closet under the stairs adding to the feel of general disorganization and neglect. The house definitely needs attention as details matter. It felt disorganized, neglected, and in need of repairs.
