Relax in this adorable newly renovated beach house that is just one block away from Oak Island's sand and surf. This house boasts a large screened porch with rocking chairs for relaxed lazy days and stargazing summer nights. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are roomy and the living room boasts a new sectional couch that has a Queen pull-out bed for extra guests. TVs are in the living room and in each bedroom. The house is pet friendly and has a large completely fenced back yard for pets, games, grilling and picnics!

Great little house with zero steps. This bungalow was perfect for my wheelchair bound dog, who loved the slight ramp up to the door, and the rugs throughout the house. To get to the beach, turn left from the driveway and take the first right. Literally just a few minutes. At night, when everything is quiet, you can hear the ocean from the house. House was very clean and well stocked. We'll definitely be back.

Great little place

The property was extremely clean quiet area we absolutely loved the screened in porch sat out there most of the time when we were at the house. I would definitely stay there again

My husband and I had never been to Oak Island before and decided we wanted to give it a try. We found this house and immediately knew it was perfect for us, our toddler, and our Labrador, Merle! My dad also tagged along and we had a blast!! Coffee on the porch every morning was the best and both our toddler and dog LOVED the screened in porch. Fenced in yard was perfect for them both to run. We will definitely be back!

Great Beach Cottage

Had a great time, the cottage is great just a short walk to the beach. Used the front porch to read and enjoy the quiet time away from home.

Excellent Stay

Dancing Dolphin was the perfect place for a small family of 4. The home was in a great location to the beach access. Vicki was wonderful to communicate with during our stay. Definitely would stay here again!

Cozy near beach

We enjoyed our stay with our kids and pups. It was cozy and close to the beach. Just a short walk to the beach, pier, and nature boardwalk across the creek. A suggestion would be to add a hair dryer, mat at the door, a cutting board, and more games. We’d absolutely stay again.

Cozy beach house

Home description and pictures were accurate. House also has keurig. Very nice stay. Oak Island...is all about the beach. 1 block walk to beach access. If walking in loose sand, a matted beach access is just a few blocks more. So relaxing.

Great little cottage

Awesome little house. 2 bed 2 bath, it was perfect for the wife and I for a weekend get away. The house seemed to be newly remodeled and very well done. Very close proximity to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and shops. Love Oak island

The property is terrific in its location being a single story house thats within 5 minutes to the beach. It's perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 small dogs who had a blast running in the huge fenced in back yard. The inside is very clean and well organized. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the bathrooms are very modernized. You will have to bring or buy/rent some beach chairs and other things for the beach but we brought our own. The area is very quiet at night and not alot of traffic during the day. The screened porch is great for sitting and relaxing after a busy day of fun and sun. Overall, this was a great place to stay in the land of the 2 and 3 story homes and would definitely stay again on our next trip here.

Second Stay - Awesome as Ever

My wife and I LOVE LOVE LOVE staying here. The house itself is great, and just one tiny block from the water. The property owner is super-responsive, so if you have questions she will answer immediately. I highly recommend it (except when we want to go back :-p)

Vicki’s house was exactly as advertised. It was beautiful and clean, and only a block from the beach. Will absolutely return next time I’m on Oak Island.

Great place!

It was a short 2 night visit for us as we were attending a funeral in Southport. The house is very well planned for being small. The beds were super comfortable and baths were big and very clean. Also, the kitchen was large and the only thing lacking was a dishwasher, but we did fine without it.

Oak Island Vacation

We really liked the location of this cottage to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The beach cottage was clean and very comfortable for our stay. We loved having a screened in front porch and a fenced backyard for our dog. The property manager Vicki was also very helpful during the booking process and with any questions we had. We will stay at this beach cottage again!

Family fun

We enjoyed our stay at the Dancing Dolphin! We started our day with coffee on the screened porch and formulated a plan for the day. The beach was within walking distance and the rest of our family was 5 doors away. Stores and restaurants close by. A great vacation for all!

Dancing Dolphin 🐬 Did Not Disappoint!

Oh my goodness! We have found our new favorite OKI home! I've already looked to borrow it again and it's booked! There's a reason for that. It is decorated just right, the bed was comfy, the walk to the bed was easy and the screened porch was nice! 👍 It was perfection!

The beach house is located near grocery stores, ice cream parlors, as well as Middleton Park which has a kids water park. Weekly concerts on the lawn in Middleton Park featuring excellent local bands are also a must-see!
