Hidden Retreat is a 3-bedroom 2-bath cabin located in the city limits of Gatlinburg perfect for your family vacation. It has an easy drive and is 5-10 minutes from downtown. Pull into the gravel driveway, travel a few steps onto the main entry deck, and open the door.

Entering Hidden Retreat, you will be greeted with an open floor plan of the dining room, living room, and kitchen. The living room has a gas fireplace and reclined seating perfect to cuddle up with a blanket after a long day. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar and plenty of maneuvering space. This is the perfect layout for the family chef to throw together a masterpiece for the evening’s dinner. The dining area seating 8 gives everyone enough space to enjoy seconds and thirds of the wonderful meal. There is also additional seating at the bar for someone just wanting to grab a snack and run.

Just off the living and dining area is a hallway leading to two of the three king bedrooms each having their own TV. For convenience there is also a bathroom with shower / tub combo for the two bedrooms to share. The King Master is the third bedroom and is more secluded on the other side of the main level with a private bathroom offering a walk-in shower. This is where you can wash away all the soreness of sight seeing and shopping before bed.

Not ready for bed just yet, there is still plenty to do. Head out on the back deck and soak for awhile in the luxurious hot tub or head downstairs for even more options. On the lower level you have a room that is separated with plenty of gaming and an indoor media room. You can choose from shooting a game of pool, playing air hockey, or even taking turns on the arcade game while someone else chooses the family movie and sets up for movie night.

This cabin has so much to offer that you will easily be able to make the most of your time when staying at this little hidden gem in Gatlinburg. Hidden Retreat is the perfect place for your family vacation.

The location was really convenient. We liked that we could come in the back door without going up a bunch of steps. But as other reviews state, the deck gets slippery when wet. It was wet our entire stay and we had a few near falls. We enjoyed the hot tub, but the lid was a pain since the hinges were broke. We also enjoyed the fireplace, it heated the living area well. The beds are big and comfortable. The place is not stocked with anything extra besides what's listed, so bring everything. The basement was pretty chilly, but they had a few blankets down there to use. The fooseball table doesn't work. Also, you can't recline on the electric reclining couches in the theater area. When I asked about it, they said the cords are a tripping hazard, but they should be more worried about someone falling on the deck instead. Comparing it to other places we've stayed in the area, we feel it was overpriced and we were a bit disappointed.

Beautiful Cabin!

Beautiful cabin, spacious, kid friendly...we will be coming back with our children and grands! Lock your cars though! A bear paid us and the neighbors a visit. We had our car doors locked, they had forgotten. Luckily, they just got muddy paw prints and no damage.

Christmas Reunion

We all enjoyed the size and comfort of this cabin! 6 adults and we all had plenty of room and things to do. Great location and easy short commute into downtown and pigeon forge. Had an issue with hot water the 2nd night and maintenance was there within a couple of hours and had it fixed! Highly recommend!

Great thanksgiving

The place was beautiful however there were a few issues and we do have some recommendations to make in the cabin! Otherwise we had a wonderful time spent with some family for Thanksgiving!

Nice stay

Inside of the cabin was nice, plenty of space for all the kids! The game room came in handy and the kids (ages 5 to 15) all had a great time. Minor inconveniences were the bedrooms tvs wouldnt connect to wifi, so they couldnt be watched at bedtime, and one of the remotes was missing batteries. Only a very small section of the grill worked, we could only fit 2 burgers on a time. The back deck hasnt been scrubbed in a while, it had a slippery film on it and one of the kidos slipped as soon as she stepped outback. The stairs to the hot tub were pretty dirty also. We couldnt find any oven mits anywhere, and couldnt get the broiler inside the oven to work either. But the sheets and bedding were all clean, bathrooms were nice and clean, and the inside of the cabin was nice. It was especially nice to be able to send the kidos downstairs to watch tv while my husband and i watched upstairs. Gatlinburg was a great family trip.

Nice place

Very nice place. We just had no internet or tv until the night before we left. I called the after hours number and was supposed to receive a call back which I never received. Other than that the place was nice and location we loved.

The cabin seemed a little bit thrown together as cabinet to trash was broken, the hot tub was somewhat dirty, and arcade machine didn’t work. Otherwise, the cabin was good

Great place!

There’s only a few things that I would recommend, but they are super minor inconveniences. There was one tiny light on our back deck so the hot tub, even though it had lights in the water, was a little dark. I’d recommend some string lights or something around the hot tub section of the back deck. Also, all of the mirrors were so high up - I could barely see my face (5’2”). I’d recommend either at least one full body mirror, or bring them down a little. There were 6 of us girls getting ready and we all struggled with mirrors. The last thing is, we couldn’t have anything at all on any of the counters around the kitchen due to an episode of invasion of the ants - so the island got real crowded, real quick. But, it’s that time of the year I suppose. Overall, the entire booking, checking in, and checking out processes were so simple! Our stay was amazing, we all truly enjoyed ourselves and the cabin overall! It was spacious enough for 6 of us. 10/10 recommend!

Great

We had a great weekend. The young adults loved the arcade room. The cabin felt homey. The only recommendation I have is that they need more blankets and a larger rug at the back door. It snowed and the floors got dirty from our shoes.

FABULOUS!

Our stay at the Hidden Retreat was FABULOUS! The communication was clear and thorough. The house was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect layout for our family. We enjoyed the pool table, foosball and air hockey. The theater space was so fun and the addition of the sparkly Christmas tree in the living room was a special treat!

A perfect, cozy cabin in the Smokies

From check-in to check-out, we couldn't have been more pleased with this cabin. When we travel, we prefer somewhere in the mountains. We've stayed in a lot of cabins by ourselves, with friends, and with family. This was among the nicest and most convenient with some of the best amenities for our little family. You're close enough to get into Gatlinburg for all the attractions and far enough to feel like an escape after full day of fun. At the property, you'll be able to rest and relax in any weather - hot or cold. I can't recommend this cabin strongly enough.

Perfect cabin

The cabin was beautiful. Super clean. The downstairs was great with all the games to play. The recliners were super comfy! Close to gatlinburg which was great. Highly recommend!

It was a nice cabin and cozy for us all! I will say that there was a bear that came by two different days after we grilled up on the deck 😳. He left on his own without any issues though. But otherwise it really was a great stay!

Vacation

This cabin was very easy to get to, very centrally located, and very nice. I liked that all of the bedrooms were on the same floor and the game room was downstairs. The only problem we had was there were ants in the kitchen all around the sink and on the counters, making it difficult to use that counter space at all. I notified the property manager who said they would have the area treated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Hidden retreat

We so enjoyed our stay at Hidden Retreat! There were a few things that were missed by cleaning crew, but not terrible! The fitted sheet in master bedroom did not fit so every night would pull off mattress. In addition back porch had weeds growing over deck. It rained a lot during our stay which I know can’t be helped, but deck had a good bit of algae making it very slippery. Actually had two falls! 😱 Besides tending to deck and the minor bed discomfort we enjoyed the cabin and kids loved the game and theatre room! Thanks for having us! I left message with bear cabin rental about washing machine issue. If you did not get message, please reach out and I can tell you so that it can be checked on! Thanks again for helping our stay enjoyable!
