Fortunately, we were able to have the house plowed before your scheduled arrival time. The number of beds and pull outs is accurately represented in the listing.

Jim, thank you for staying. Bailey Island rarely gets above 77F during the day in the summer, and rarely below 65F at night. It is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Courtney, thank you for your overall positive review. I am sorry we lost power the morning of your departure. That is not a common occurrence at this location. The standby generator has since been serviced and repaired. It's malfunction is unlikely to happen again.

As we communicated privately, the additional bedroom was still under construction, and will be ready and advertised in November 2025 (which is where the contractors left a dirty towel). Unfortunately, you didn't contact us about any of the other issues during your stay. I would have been happy to explain how to use the elevator, where the dish detergent was, how to use the sleep number bed, and how to open the garage door (which was in the instructions provided). Your suggestion for a house guidebook is a good one, and we will prepare.

Carol, thank you for your thorough review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property and your stay. Regarding the master bed, I wish you had reached out to me during your stay. The mattress is a "Sleep Number" mattress and has a motorized mechanism that will raise and lower the mattress. If it's not set to completely flat, the mattress will feel lumpy indeed. But that is easily remedied with the remote control.

Thanks, Diane. We do keep the water off when the house is unoccupied in the winter. I would note that it was turned on within 5 minutes of your first contact. And the house was 60F when you arrived.

Thank you for your positive and overall positive review. We do strive for accuracy in the listing. Yes, the loft is above one of the bedrooms. Note the loft is also only accessible from a steep staircase. If you are looking for additional privacy for a fourth couple, there is a separate room on the first floor with an Ethan Allen pull out sofa.
