Two houses for the price of one! Main house has been redone top to bottom. New furniture, new hvac, new everything! Cape Cod casual: comfortable, plenty of parking, close restaurants and markets, a short walk to the bay, surrounded by hiking trails, a fire pit, outdoor shower, multiple living spaces. One well behaved dog is welcomed.

Great for a Family Get Together

The host was really great. She gave us great advice on things to do and made us feel very welcome. The house was great for our family group. It was a great home base for the memories we made on Cape Cod, in Plymouth and Boston.

Great Place for a Family Gathering

Great location, and a beautiful, spacious home which allowed for family to gather but to also have some private time when needed. Joanna was readily in contact when needed and was very gracious! All around, a great visit and we will look for this home again for future gatherings!

Great secluded getaway

We absolutely loved staying here! Age ranges from 2 -80 years spent a lovely time here. The house was perfect for us because grand parents could spend time in the separate wing while the young kids (8 years and below) could have fun in the main house. House is beautiful inside and out and sits in a nice cul-de-sac. Joanna was wonderful with her quick communication. All amenities in the house including laundry detergent, bath and beach towels were plentiful. All places including Boston and Cape Cod were within a great distance making it easy to get there and back. We would absolutely stay here again!

Joanna's place was great for our family trip. There was plenty of space for everyone, and there were great touches that made us feel very welcomed and at home. Check-in was a breeze; the house was super clean. We really enjoyed the large kitchen/ dining area, as well as the outdoor space. The guest house has a second fridge and a microwave for convenience.The nearest beach was an easy 15 min walk. Groceries and restaurants are a quick drive away (though cape traffic happens). The cul-de-sac is quiet; the walking trails behind the house do have a lot of bugs. Overall, we had a great time and I'd definitely recommend.

Comfortable stay

VRBO provided exactly what we needed. VRBO is split between two connected houses - main house & adjacent house. This gave us plenty of space for the family and allowed the dog to stay overnight in the adjacent house. Beautiful kitchen. Quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of parking.

Terrific property

This was my family's first time to Cape Cod as a family and we were thrilled. There were 8 adults and 6 children under 10 so it had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for my family. Outdoor area was great for campfires and kids playing. Our host was very accommodating with lots of special things at the house that we were able to use. The house was close to great beaches, restaurants and lots of things to do. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location/Super sweet host

Joanna is a great host. She was extremely responsive the entire stay. The house was in such a cute cul de sac and very private- perfect for our little kids to ride their bikes and scooters. The location of the house was ideal- a two min ride to Monument Beach or a short walk to the little bay. We had a lot of fun! The main house has beautiful updates. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are very well done. Thanks again Joanna!

Nice Time in Bourne

We rented this property to allow us to spend time with family to celebrate mine and my wife's special birthdays. This house (actually pair of houses - main and guest) worked ut extremely well for us. We needed 6 bedrooms, and associated bathrooms, and this property contained exactly what we needed. The house was clean and efficiently set up - the kitchen was remodeled and worked great for us. Everyone enjoyed their time and the property very much. The hosts were very accommodating and were quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had. This included an uninvited guest, who was quickly dealt with and never returned.All in all we enjoyed this house very much and would recommend this property to anyone wishing to vacation in Cape Cod.

Wonderful place for extended family in great location

Three generations of our family had a delightful stay at this well-equipped property. Having 2 houses is a definite plus, especially when you have to accommodate pre-teens and grandparents with their different schedules and activity levels. The air conditioning was a real benefit on the one or two really hot days, but even on those days, it was nice to sit on the porch and feel the breeze. Two beaches were available within a 15-mijnute walk, there were great dining opportunities nearby. Joanna is a terrific host, very responsive. Five stars from all of us!

Property was able to accommodate the entire family (we used all 7 bedrooms) and was easy to get to. Traveling from Boston, it’s a little over and hour without traffic and close to market basket to meet your grocery needs. They have a gas and charcoal grill as well as a chefs kitchen with higher end appliances. Although they were missing some baking sheets, we didn’t realize it until halfway through our trip. The owner was responsive with any questions or issues we had. The air conditioning came in the clutch during. The heat wave. In terms of beaches, Bourne doesn’t have any good beaches so if you want nice sand, you’ll have to drive a little deeper in the cape.

Perfect location for a family gathering

NOTE: We rented both the main home and the guest house (former garage?). This provided enough space for our group of 12 folks with ages from 9 to 75. The home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes it a perfect fun & safe place for families with kids. The house is equipped with lots of games, toys and books for folks to stay entertained. It's walking distance (15-20 minutes) from the beach and town. My nephew and I walked into town every morning so he could try a different croissant from Becky's Bakery every day! The place was clean with lots of towels, blankets & sheets. (NOTE: I don't know what they use to clean the sheets - but they smelled wonderful. Better than any hotel I've stayed in) Joanna was responsive when minor issues arose. Great place for a big group.

A massive (and happy-making) surprise

This was a last minute decision - we had to get away and this property popped up for the first time. The pictures and the description don’t do it justice! When we arrived, I checked out the guest house first and thought we hit the jackpot. Croquet! Horseshoes! A putting green! Tomato plants! A firepit! Paddle boards! Bikes! And that was just outside… We easily could have gone halfsies with another family and had plenty of room. Both houses were well appointed with good size rooms, comfortable beds and quality linens. We could stream our favorite shows from multiple rooms. My only gripe is we didn’t stay long enough to use the poker table or try all the board games.

Nice, spacious property

The main house and guest house are nicely appointed and more than enough space for a family. We joked that all 6 of us could have fit comfortably in the guest house. The patio and covered deck provided great outdoor space, especially since it rained a few days.

Cape Cod gem !!

This is my first personal experience with VRBO and it was a winner ! We had 9 adults and 7 children ages 2-9 and had ample room for all of us ! Small beach area with calm water within walking distance, just 35 minutes to Beautiful ocean Corporate Beach, easy to get to ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and 20 minutes to Whale watch cruise! We did it all ! Joanna was a wonderful property owner who was available to answer questions about the home and any activities or excursions we inquired about. She also had many games for the rainy day we had appropriate for children and/ or adults ! There was a wonderful patio area with outside games and activities and bikes to use as well ! I would highly recommend this property to rent , great home, perfect location and all around great experience!!
