Come and enjoy the peace of the private front deck in this quiet neighborhood. Take your personal boat or one of the two available kayaks down to the boat ramp for a relaxing paddle or swim. Enjoy the nature trails through Elinor Bedell State Park or take the kids to the fun playground (entrances 1-2 block away). Feeling tired from a long day on the lake, cozy up to a movie in the cool basement. Enjoy a concert, food or beverage at one of the many Arnold's park attractions approximately 6 miles from the house. This home was recently remodeled with new floors and paint.
*Note, this is not lakefront property

The house was clean and nice. Located in a good location to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Okoboji and Spirit Lake quickly. Nice walking path close as well.

Very nice & clean stay for our guys golf weekend. We did not spend much time at the house since we were on the go quite a bit during our stay in Okoboji, but everybody enjoyed it. The would definitely be a house that we would stay at again. The host did a fantastic job of keeping us in the loop with details prior to our trip.

Great place to stay. It was clean and large enough for 6 adults. We utilized the grill all weekend and it worked well. Overall, we would stay again.

Wonderful experience

We were in town for a soccer tournament and loved how this property was close to everything. Extremely clean, comfortable beds, and lots of amenities made our stay relaxing and carefree.

Amazing stay

Our transmission went out on our way to okoboji while towing our boat...we arrived at this house in a terrible mood and no plan as we were planning on boating the whole time. The house was sweet and perfect. I loved the neighbors and the simple set up. It could definitely accommodate more people if you brought air mattresses as they have so much room in basement. We will definitely stay again.

July 4th Weekend Getaway

The house was located on a quiet street with easy access to East Okoboji Lake. Everything was very clean, with updated furnishings and was well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed bird watching from the porch in the morning while relaxing with our coffee.

Beautiful vacation home!

This home was absolutely perfect for what we needed! My husband and I and our two boys (2years old and 4 months old) stayed here while visiting family that lives on Lake Okoboji. The location is perfect, under 10 min drive to everywhere we needed to go. We were able to all stay comfortably in our own rooms and had lots of space. We really only used the home for sleeping at night and coming back for our son to nap during the day, however it would make a great place to vacation at. It was fully stocked with everything we could’ve needed and even had kayaks available. Sheena was great to communicate with and the neighbor was also very friendly and helpful.

Great Place

This house was ideal for us and a great place to relax from the city. Waking up every morning and seeing deer in the front yard was a treat! Not far from friends on East Lake. The house was clean, tidy, and communication with property manager was excellent. Thank you!

Great Quick Getaway

Great spot for a short couple of nights in Okoboji. Great communication with the owner. Short drive to town. Great walking trail and playground you can access at the end of the street. House was well stocked with supplies. It was clean and had everything we needed. Having 2 separate areas to chill out and watch TV was great as the kids could be in one area and the adults in the other. Somewhere we would return to.

Good stay

This is a nice home with a 5 or 6 block walk to the lake. The hosts were thoughtful about providing many little extras that we might need. We liked the park directly behind the property and the trails. Everything was a short drive to get to. I wish there was a dishwasher since we did cook there.a few times but it wasn’t a huge inconvenience. The beds were all comfortable and we were overall very happy with our stay.

Family vacay

Although the listing clearly states the boat ramp is 3 blocks from the property, we focused more on the pictures and thought we were lakeside…we’re amateurs! Beds were comfortable, house was clean. The grill was small and only one side of it actually worked. Never could figure out how to get Netflix on the smart t.v.. We would stay again! Host was great!

Thank you for the review and staying with us! We are new to hosting and want to make everyones stay as enjoyable as possible. If we are lucky enough to have you stay with us again the quickest route to the boat ramp is: Left on Edith Ave, Right on 164th, Left on 256th. This was my three block calculation and never intended for it to be deceiving. Sorry to hear about the grill. We will fix it or its time to invest in a new grill. We do pay for a 24 hour TV trouble shooting service if there is ever an issue with cable TV. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us!
